Chapter 107: How to Flirt With Your Wife in Front of a Confused Android

"Miss Demond. Miss Adrei."

"Hm...hm?"

"We have arrived."

"Oh...oh..."

Demond leaned away from the kiss. "Adrei..."

The Dragon pecked once more. "I’ll taste the rest afterwards."

"Hic...."

"..."

991 could swear she heard something crack inside her just now.

An Android was supposed to be unfeeling. Pure and untainted by the tradition of the World.

"Here." Adrei left the carriage before offering a hand.

"Oh, now you treat me like a proper royal?" The Witch smirked. "Almost forgot I’m a Queen myself, technically."

"So you deserved a befitting treatment." A chuckle. A tug. "My Queen?"

"I get it, I get it..." A smile. Hands clasped as the Witch was led out smoothly.

991 could hear something crack again.

Ah, it is her knuckles.

"Strange..." She murmured to herself. "I should have no programs related to jealousy."

No special connection to Demond or Adrei. They were her saviors, and that’s it.

"991! We’re going to dismantle the ice carriage!"

"...mm."

Yet as she leaped away, she felt hollow compared to the couple’s fulfillment.

Maybe the bond they shared mirrored her special connection with her sisters?

991 quickly shook her head. Staff raised. Ice dusts are dispersed.

"Miss Demond."

"Hm?"

"Did you not mention we’re on a discreet mission? Disappearing your magic in the open street is not a recommended protocol."

People stared. Curiosity flared.

"Eh, it’s fine at this point." The Witch shrugged. Forsak’s brother likely already figured we’re here. Might as well unashamedly test if he would make any move."

"Hehe." Adrei petted. "I believe my wife has just forgotten."

"Yeah, yeah. Try more than that to make me grumble..."

The smiley affection. The annoyed playfulness.

991’s lips curled up wryly.

Hm...perhaps she is <Drowned> now.

--------------

The Town of Sovereignheim was a massive circle of short buildings.

Demond, in her 20 years of hiding, was at awe with the new town that Adrei told was only built for less than 10 years with the Church’s and Mage Towers’ combined efforts.

"They collabed at the strangest projects, huh?" Demond’s hand received a fried mini lizard from Adrei (who bought with Elsara’s purse) before biting into it.

Taste of nostagia. The Witch purred, her thoughts drifting into the campfire days.

"The reason lied in its centre: The Infinite Dungeon."

Adrei smirked. "Apparently, the Dungeon itself is floor-based, each having an uniquely, randomly generated boss, each one stronger than the other."

"Wow, like rougelite."

"Rougelite?" 991 tilted her head.

"Anyhow..." Demond coughed twice. "Is entering each time make the bosses different?"

"Correct. The Dungeon’s most....troublesome aspect lied on its <Floor Regeneration>."

"Ah..." Demond whined a little as Adrei wiped the stain off of her lips. "So after clearing the 1st floor, it will regenerate itself?"

"At about 1 month, yes." Adrei chuckled as the Witch swiped her lips on her sleeve. "With completely different floor, completely different boss."

"And did it regenerate today again?"

"In fact yes. From what I’ve gathered from Elsara’s...." Adrei waved to the ’Shadow’ around the corner, before it sunk back into the alley’s darkness.

"Seems like a measure taken by Forsak’s brother, Malorne Forsak. A week before the one-month mark is hit, he required all adventurers out of the Infinite Dungeon for the reset."

"Ah...let me guess the rest."

Demond smirked as she took her last bite. "The Infinite Dungeon was found to have abundance of resources or treasures, even if it is regenerated. That’s why Malorne practically discovered a easy resource farm."

"You would be correct, but not quite." The Queen pinched the Witch’s cheek. "The Infinite Dungeon regenerated not treasures or resources, but different Adventurers’ equipments. Unfortunately with the war ended, and there is none more dungeons or conflicts in this Kingdom...."

"Those ended up mostly for show, huh?"

"Not for nobles." Adrei crept up her hand on the Witch’s waist. "They valued those equipments either for collection or auctions. So they would pay for any Unique-looking Equipments from the Dungeon."

"And that’s where the Adventurers came in, I presumed?"

"Exactly." The embrace tightened. More grumbling. "The deeper the floors, the most rare and valuable the equipments are for the nobles. And the ones in the lower floors are mostly used by adventurers instead to advance."

"Deeper the floors?" Demond glanced around. Despite the squary, low-altitude buildings, there were no towers in sight.

"Ah, you would witness how the Infinite Dungeon looked like once we arrived."

The Dragon stared her dried lips. "I mentioned it was one of the lost Dwarven Creations, but it was shaped more like a never-ending abyss. You will be shocked."

"Maybe I will. I never heard of this even when me and my comrades fought in the Dragonsong War after all." The Witch stretched her limps. "One more thing, Adrei."

"Yes?"

"What’s the highest level people have ever gotten to?"

A smirk adorned the Witch’s face, her sense of challenge brewing.

"I believe the intel shouldn’t be given for free, yes?"

"...ha?"

991 turned around, covering her ears.

"Wait wait wait...here?" The Witch shuddered.

"Just a peck. Besides." The Dragon nuzzled in her cheek. "I refuse to restrain myself even in the public, my Dear. And I would only hold back with the most basic decency."

"Perverted...ugh." The Witch tipped up her hat, her blushes apparent. "Lean down for me."

"How about you tip-toed up for me?"

"Tch. What a troublesome husband you are."

"And what a lovely wife you remain to be."

"One more word, and I will clatter your teeth with ice gels."

"Then how else will my tongue explore every inch of you?"

"Oi!" The Dark blushes deepened. Today’s Battle Result: Demond’s defeat (again).

"Hehe...come on now, don’t be shy."

"Gr...."

The Witch pulled back her lock of hair, gaze trembling.

Then with a whimper or two, she tip-toed up.

Lips met. A small peck. But one so filled by a sweet coolness Adrei wished to lock time here and now to taste eternally.

"Th-there....." The Witch’s hand raised, then lowered, almost wiping off the sensation on her lips. "First time I would allow you to mess around, okay?"

"I would humbly decline that offer."

"...you were really stubborn at the weirdest places."

"Only for you."

"Yes yes. So romantic..."

Another grumble. And 991 felt a crack again.

The Elven Android blinked. Her finger moved to her brows.

Ah, she was frowning.

"Adrei. Do pray tell now if you don’t mind, please."

"Of course." Adrei patted her pouting cheek. "The deepest this town’s adventures have ever gotten to was the 10th floor."

"10th floor...any name for the group?"

The Witch’s wobbled a little. Perhaps an old friend’s name from her adventurer’s time would show up.

"Phantom Opera."

"Phantom...what?" She furrowed. "Weird name."

"It’s from a Noble Family’s adventurer’s group."

"A noble family...ah!"

The Witch jolted, her hand clasping Adrei’s arm. "Is the Group Leader’s name Celeste Waraker?"

"Indeed." Adrei carrased the hand on her arm. "Your old friend, Demond?"

"Of course. Hurry now!" Demond bolted off, pulling Adrei, then stopped. "Ah. Almost forgot. Conjure a hood to hide 991’s ears. Her identity as an Android would only attract stinkiness."

"No issues." With a chuckle, the Dragon’s fingers clicked for a fabric to fall on the Android, as 991 watched the Dragon Queen dragged out from the street, the Witch yelling at her for direction.

991’s eyes curved. What unruly, undignified specimans. Her sisters would be ashamed having been rested by these two.

She draped herself over with the cloak, before following them.

---------------

The advneturer’s guild was lousy as always. The tavern was full of alcohol’s stinkers and cheerful laughters.

Today is the day for another release into the Infinite Dungeon after all.

As the largest adventurer’s tavern ever constructed, Setre sighed at the counter. "And? Miss Waraker? Would you drink with them instead of being alone, please?"

"Nooooooooo...accompany me more, Setre..."

A cry at the counter. Some gazes over to the stool where a lone girl with black curvy hair, round eyes that were shaken by drunkiness lied on the table.

Ah, the usual. They turned away.

"Hic...no one wants to party with me again!" Celeste slammed her fist on the table. "What’s wrong with using the latest floor’s equipment to advance, huh?! Bunch of realists that knew not to dream..."

"If I may, Miss Waraker." Setre sighed. "An adventurer’s livelihood depended upon the tradings. You know full well they had no choice."

"I know I know...but imagine. More riches. More...Dragons..."

"...Dragons?"

"Dragons deez nuts over your face! Haha!"

"..."

Setre must confess. Her personality didn’t help.

"Ah." The bartender looked towards the door. "A Dragon."

"Heh heh...trying to outsmart me here again, Setre? How amateurish..." Celeste’s finger twirled.

"Uh...no. There really is a humanoid Dragon approaching."

"Oh please. As if some Dragon would suddenly pop out from their Floating Empire and-"

"Celeste."

The drunken adventurer’s shoulders shook. A cute voice. And a rhythm...so familiar...yet so unfamilar...

She turned her head. A Witch stared at her frowning.

"Since when did you like being an Alcoholic?"

The drunkiness was purged out of her lungs. A utter shock washed over her as Celeste pointed wobbly at the Witch.

"Un-uncle Demond?!"

"Ah. Recognise me faster than even Adil." The Witch nodded smirking. "Not bad. Plus points."
