The Reaper's Wicked Obsession -
Chapter 31: Experienced Innocence With A Predator
Chapter 31: Experienced Innocence With A Predator
"Where did he go?" Isadora asked, frightened to mount the creature that looked like it came out of the abyss of nightmares.
Rav’s was more welcoming but this particular Bicorn—with black eyes on her—looked like it would eat her instead of nuzzling her.
"That should not be your concern," Kraven replied irritatedly.
Isadora glanced back at him, frightened and resentful. She hated every moment she was left with him alone because he either tried to mock or torment her.
The last events visibly played and caused her chest to burn at the memory, what she was so close to doing because of his scornful words.
He made her question her existence in ways she never did and at the same time she finally realized there was never freedom and that all her prayers to the gods were never meant to be fulfilled.
Freedom was an illusion for a mannfae.
Isadora passed a calculated look at the shadow beast and then at him with his hand stretched out—it felt like death was holding out its hand for her to take into nothingness.
"If you want to see your precious Rav again I suggest you come to me"
Her cheeks burned at his blasphemous words and as a result, Kraven’s molars grinded until he was certain they would turn to dust.
Voicing that out loud caused an edge he did not expect—a disturbed reaction.
His faithful Bicorn growled—Nox probably felt his internal turmoil, the bond between a Bicorn and its rider was unmatched.
"Kaanloma" he spoke to Nox.
(Calm)
Having heard the profound growl that shocked her insides, Isadora decided not to mount that thing.
"I-I’ll walk," she said turning away, she didn’t care how far the distance she would rather do that than get on the same beast as him.
A sudden warmth banded around her waist and before she could register what it was she was already panicking at the glimpse of shadow around her.
It propelled her forward, and with graceful ease, she mounted his Bicorn, legs together and awkwardly secured on Kraven’s lap.
Her wide eyes fell on Kraven who had an arrogant smirk on his lips like he had accomplished a mission.
The shadow that grabbed her was gone and she was beginning to think she hallucinated the whole thing.
Tensed, she squirmed to get away, feeling sick to be near him.
"Don’t push me, Isadora," his words halted her action. "The option to bind you to Nox and make you walk the distance is tempting"
She gulped at his barbaric threat, the idea of traveling with him in this awkward position was suddenly preferable.
"Ohnawoanrada"
(Onward)
Isadora shivered because his chest pulsed as he spoke deeply in Faetong. She had never known anyone to speak so fluently in its language, it was mostly forgotten, and only a few knew the Language of the Old.
Just who is this Fae?
That question had ridden her for moons she had spent with him.
He might be an outlaw and a menacing persona they knew as the Reaper but each dragging moment showed more mystery to unfold.

"I think your manhood is broken"
Kraven’s features morphed from confusion—shock—then intrigue.
What brought about the amusement baffled Isadora, shouldn’t he be worried about this? Any male should.
"And why would you assume that?" he asked with dancing delight in his tune.
"It’s been puncturing me for the last hour"
"And?"
’Urgh! What is wrong with him?!’ she thought at her wit’s end and turned her head, pinning him with her gaze. "Shouldn’t you be bothered?"
"About what?"
Her scowl deepened and she began to think this man had no shame or a hint of fright about his dignity.
"Because it’s broken," she clarified.
He chuckled deeply and the pulse from his chest found its way to her body causing goosebumps on her skin.
If he wasn’t insane she might have thought he has an attractive laugh.
"Please tell me, love, why in gods name would you think such a thing?"
She blinked. "It has been an hour or so"
"Yes it has"
"I-It shouldn’t be functioning that long" she replied with wide eyes. At least that’s what Serena always told her when she complained about her customers. It was assumed broken when a male was active that long.
"And who told you that? Hm?"
She forced her eyes away, silently cursing herself for engaging in such a talk.
It certainly didn’t help the plan to stay quiet as a mouse until she separated from him, however, his manhood became too much of a hassle to ignore.
"Was it your friend at that brothel?"
She glanced back at him and swallowed, confirming his words.
Kraven’s lips widened in a wicked grin, he truly was intrigued and the innocence in her big ambers made it obvious that the girl did not know a thing.
For someone who spent most of her life in that brothel, he had thought she might have known a thing or two.
Dashwell guarded her like a precious gem indeed.
"Then your friend doesn’t know much about males... seems like the males she attended to were less"
Isadora faced ahead, suddenly feeling uneasy about the conservation and did not intend to go further than that.
"What do you know about a male, Isadora?"
A hot chill pierced her spine, and his deep voice in her ears caused intense goosebumps.
The way he said her name was far too profound than he’d ever done. Not to ruin it but to entice it into sin if given the chance.
"I know everything," she said before she could stop herself and regretted the words because now it would give him a further reason to continue this talk.
"I’m sure you do"
She shivered again, loathing as her body felt hot, she had been this way since she mounted his bicorn.
It must be the weather. The sun was quite up and the foreign feeling caused her skin to have a burning sensation.
The feeling of his hand snaking her waist caused her body to go stiff, his other hand held her neck where bruises from the incident in the Abyss hadn’t healed.
Isadora felt his tongue licking through them.
