The Primal Blood Demonic Dragon -
Chapter 89: Cht 89: Changing Ownership
Chapter 89: Cht 89: Changing Ownership
The sky hung still, a breath caught in the lungs of the forest. The canopy above, surroundings rustled like whispering something. And the air itself vibrated steadily. Like waiting for something someone to make the first move or changes in environment itself is the first move. Gin stood there in the center of the encampment, his wolf form statuesque, silver-blue fur reflecting pale strands of sunlight that filtered through a now dimming sky.
Then, as if responding to a single signal, five opened pairs of eyes looked at the direction of him at the exact same instant.
Lucy. Saira. Xingning. Jean. Alice.
As if they are in sync with each other and communicating through unknown means.
There was no haze in their gaze, no bewildered blinking or dawning realization. Their eyes simply snapped open sharpened and focused at him. What unsettled Gin most wasn’t the suddenness. It was the clarity. They were looking not at their surroundings or themselves but straight at him. Definitely not by coincidence.
As though the vines and leaves that veiled their canopies were as transparent as glass.
Gin’s spiritual sense raced ahead of his shock, already scanned the interiors of their shelters. He confirmed what his instincts screamed: they had not moved. They lay in the exact same intimate positions as when he last saw them. Just now their movement have stopped and their eyes pierced through everything, boring directly into his figure.
Things were turning for the worst.
And he knew it.
Even now, Gin didn’t move. He could’ve. He should’ve. He was faster than any of them even in this wolf form. Stronger, quieter. He could’ve disappeared into the trees, left behind a veil of mist and silence. But he didn’t. Something rooted him here as he knew they as real as it could be from their interactions. Just they aren’t themselves right now.
And running forever isn’t a solution.
Because no matter how impossible this all seemed, how contradictory it was to reason, to the nature of their bonds he still knew them. And only one who could maybe bring them back is him right now.
Eventually, the five stepped out of their canopies.
Still in the exact states they had been within nothing changed. Not the loosened robes, not the marks of sweat or strange energy glow that lightly clung to their skin. Their movements were slow but synchronized. There was no urgency in their steps, only certainty while land below them moisturised from the honey drops dripping from the nether canyons.
They walked forward, five abreast.
Gin lowered his head slightly, hackles raised, unsure of what to brace for and how.
Then Lucy spoke, her voice sharp, strong accusatory.
"You’re pathetic."
The words landed like a slap.
"I gave you everything. My trust. My time. My heart. I was ready anytime, anywhere. I would’ve given myself to you completely. And what did you do? Nothing. You looked, you lingered, played with me and then you left. Always leaving. Always pretending you didn’t want it any further."
Gin’s jaw tensed. He opened his mouth to respond by growling but Saira stepped forward, cutting him off.
"You held me on that coast," she said, her voice quiet, almost tender. But the sharpness beneath it cut like glass. "You observed every part of me, explored where you felt like at coast that time. You knew I wanted more, i already prepared myself mentally amd was ready for you to progress things further and you felt it, you knew everything And you still let it go. Why? Why didn’t you just held my waist tighter and at least kiss me once to show your stand? I waited, wanted. Am i really nothing in your eyes just because i look too old?" Her last line felt like a little to out of place as if until now whatever she said wasn’t out of her concent but last one it was both her own question while also work of someone.
And it definitely hit him somewhere no one could see. He still remembers that time with her was his last interaction with them until he woke up again in this wolf body.
Xingning’s voice rose next, stern and fierce, like the wind before a storm.
"You don’t understand what you’ve done. You always held back. There were moments so many moments when we were in the right space, the right feeling, and you hesitated. You kissed me, yes. But never more. Why? You knew I wanted it. We both did."
Gin felt a coldness creep into his chest. His paws dug slightly into the earth.
Jean stepped in, her tone different. Not about missed passion or denied emotion hers was disappointment.
"You left me," she said simply. "I was in the middle of most special moment. My evolution was still incomplete at that time. You knew what that meant to me. I could observe you even during that time, what we shared in those moments wasn’t just survival or instinct to me it was deeper. And you left. You abandoned me when I was taking the major step of my existence until now. Why?"
Alice didn’t speak.
She simply walked alongside the others, her gaze on him unwavering, unblinking. Perhaps hers was the cruelest blow of all no anger, no words, just silent judgment.
Gin trembled.
The fierce, grounded mask that had sustained him through battles and transformations began to crack. Their voices were like weapons. They were like weapon of truths. Reflections of their inner voice they usually shouldn’t have revealed.
He’d thought himself they would be able to understand his problem slightly. Thought he was protecting their inner peace by not sharing his reason of choice. But now, those same choices came back to him not as wisdom but cowardice.
He stared down at his paws, vision blurring.
Was it his fault?
Did he ruin them?
Did his hesitation to reveal poison their growth, their paths, their hearts?
The voices swirled around him, not repeating but echoing deep into the marrow of his mind. A coldness spread within, not from outside but from within.
’Is everything really my fault?’
He replayed every moment.
The laughter with Lucy under the starlight, her on top of him in dimly lit room. Growing with her, observing her.
The quiet skinship shared with Saira beside the glowing coast.
The playful detective play between him and Xingning and also Xingxu. Literally intention to establish an organisation just to help her. Reduce her problem, her burden from life and be the long pole for her when she needs one to rely on.
The evolution dance with Jean. Taking her in when they both were around age of three because sensing a special kind of attraction from her. Her sleeping most of the time in his robe.
The quiet, curious observance of Alice, who was literally born to share half of his soul burden. Though programmed to operate in his interest as his system, the virtual soul born from virtual seed.
Gin trembled, his aura dimming.
He wanted to scream.
He wanted to tear out the guilt, the pain.
Then, suddenly, it happened.
A flicker. A surge. A breath.
Something inside him snapped.
Not from pain. Not from rage. But from clarity.
His head lifted.
His eyes flared a deep green, brighter and different than they ever had since waking in this body.
"No," he growled, voice layered with his own soul energy. "I did what I thought was right. I stopped because i had no other choice but had to. Not because I didn’t feel. Not because I didn’t want. Just because of one damn problem"
No one knows he actually is talking or his soul energy, wave of spiritual sense is doing it for him.
Situation around surroundings slowly changed with each of his words progressed while his aura starting changing also with his words.
The five paused. Not knowing from his words or his aura done something that wasn’t possible until now. Or the puppeteer stopped for some reason.
Gin stepped forward.
"I wanted you all, right then and there. But What can be done when my soul wants, mind instructs, heart wants to join in yet body doesn’t responds to any of that."
The atmosphere around him grew heavier while also shimmered with five different coloured particles mixed together.
Energy rippled from his paws into the ground, and multiple energies burst forth changing the land around.
"You blame me because something inside you hurts," he said. "But Lucy....
You understood my situation quite well without me telling you much of anything. Yet now you’re talking like an ignorant. It’s definitely not you who is doing the talking.
His voice deepened. "I don’t need to know anything more to prove that you definitely aren’t with your own will."
"And why should i held back from something like doing that without any reason when....
I am from the race of which, be it male or female. Both have necessity to have same race as their partner to satisfy their lust by mating for months if not years for those at higher stages. After a certain age or certain stage."
His voice become more louder. And it is sure that he is talking though his own vocal cords somehow.
We have libido higher than any being of lust. Be it some puny sins demons of lust or any other species."
Suddenly all five had clear eyes but they stood in their place. As if they didn’t have the permission to move from where they stood. Distant beast also stopped but same as the ladies they stood stopped in their tracks.
A suffocating pressure suddenly covered everywhere while mostly concentrating on Gin.
But he didn’t feel much, nothing unbearable. Though he clearly felt the hostility of the whole world.
"Since this world itself wants me eliminated. Let it see who it is messing with..."
Elemental particles surrounding him got brighter while a green glow enveloped him, counter pushing the world pressure with it’s own aura. Something new, not belonging to a wolf or a primal like four female present. An aura somehow similar to Jean but more potent and majestic. Dignified presence with authority of dominance, submission.
"Since i eventually have to return back to my body or create a new one from the scratch. There no need for this shackled piece flesh to exist which has been limiting in every way possible."
"BOGONE!"
He roared, his first true roar different from something should come from a wolf.
This wasn’t a sound of dominance. It was awakening. A different one from physical.
Winds howled through the forest. The canopy above rippled as if the sky itself flinched. Trees shuddered, and the vines the glowing, pulsing vines recoiled.
Gin’s aura expanded outward like a tidal wave taking the colour of green. The forest around him shifted, pulled back. The vines that had slithered into their camp, their canopies, retreated violently, as if burned.
The girls stumbled from the wave. But nothing happened to them.
Their eyes, clear eyes fixed on Gin. Observing everything, stood in spot even though broke from the shackles of bound.
They blinked, confused, Dazed but still focused at view in front.
As if not wanting to woke up from their trace for the moment.
Gin stood tall. Slowly wolf body cracking and expanding. Yet he didn’t feel any pain of loosing flesh for some reason which he isn’t clear about. His attention is somewhere else.
Directed toward the world.
The vines around him grew and tried to entangle him as if to stop him from whatever he was trying to do.
Yet they broke, shredded into pieces even before they reached him. Elemental particles around swimming through a rotation around him in unsystematic line.
He didn’t lower his gaze.
He waited.
Soon sliver-blue far cracked while still in way to expansion. Inside isn’t hollow but smooth green surface could be seen.
And for the first time, the forest, the world around didn’t trembled only from the unknown source.
Silver-blue fur creature no longer having shape of wolf, a massive long shaped like a snake.
Soon skin fully cracked like a spider web. From inside came in view, a massive serpentine body, green scales. Four paws replaced by four massive sharp claws. Two massive pointed horns growing from both sides of head similar to wolf yet more longer.
Five ladies only saw sky covered by a giant green shadow. Unable to figure out head or tail of anything.
Soon world trembled with more intensity after appearance of the giant serpentine creature.
No longer able to apply pressure on him, as if slowly changing the owner. Previous owner deprived from the authority of the world.
The the massive figure slowly shrank while a roar that shook the very world echoed throughout.
"I’m the
DRAGON!...."
