The Primal Blood Demonic Dragon
Chapter 88: Cht 88: New Beginning

Chapter 88: Cht 88: New Beginning

The vines were pulsing.

He could feel it now not just see it. The rhythm wasn’t visual anymore. It was inside him. A slow, measured throb like the beat of a second heart, not his own. It wasn’t just around them. It was beneath everything.

But Gin didn’t stop.

He had one more chance.

The others were lost, tangled in movements that no longer belonged to them. He had seen it. Touched it. Failed to shake them from their states. He had roared, growled, even howled loud enough to crack silence. Nothing had responded.

But Alice she wasn’t like the others.

She had never been one for battle, never thrown herself into blood and dirt. She was quiet. Observant. Gentle to a fault, yes but her soul held a strength that didn’t show in muscle or motion. After all how did she even came into existence that have to measured. Maybe that difference made her less entwined with whatever force had stolen the others.

So Gin kept going.

Energy flowed through his paw. His body trembled, not from fatigue but from restraint. He had to keep it balanced. Not too much, not too little. A precise rhythm pulse by pulse, breath by breath. The way nature grew things from seed to leaf. The way trees healed wounds over time. That was his method.

Ten more times. Fifty. A hundred.

Then subtle as a flicker

She twitched.

Just a finger at first. Then her hand clenched slightly in the grass.

Gin held his breath.

Her chest rose in a deeper inhale. Her eyes stirred beneath closed lids. Another breath sharper now, more distinct. And then

She opened them.

He leaned in, his muzzle close, heart pounding beneath his silver-blue fur.

’Alice’ he called inside, while giving a rough and low growl through his wolfish throat.

Her eyes dull at first focused slowly.

Their light returned.

And in that moment, hope surged through him.

He did it. Finally he broke her from trace.

He took a step closer, preparing to growl the vibrations of speech she could understand. Just like she can understand his intent, maybe she could snap out fully if he reminded her who she was, where she was

She moved but.

Her fingers touched her robe.

Gin blinked.

She didn’t sit up in confusion. She didn’t speak. Didn’t ask where she was or what was happening.

She pulled at her garment.

Deliberately. Smoothly.

The robe loosened.

She sat up, hair cascading over her shoulders like a brown-silver waterfall.

And then she looked at him.

Her lips parted slightly. Her voice too soft and erotic.

"...Hubby."

It was barely a whisper yet it cut through the silence like a blade.

Not confusion. Not gratitude.

Lust.

And it definitely made something stand....

No, not that as his that thing can’t stand up through ages, even fifty years before his reincarnation.

Gin flinched as if struck, hair on his fur stood up.

That word... it shouldn’t have come from her lips like that. Not like this. But the tone it was perfectly remembered.

He had once told her, long ago but he doesn’t know how long it has even passed since then. To call him that when they were alone.

Intentionally definitely really. A very serious decision that he had made that day without knowing, not having understanding of what was even about to happen when the newly created system suddenly told to make decision. Select gender and personality.

And if asked hundred times, thousand times, any number of infinite time that if he had regretted for once after that, his answer definitely would be ’no’.

He never once regretted on his choices that time. A perfect copy of himself, made from half of his soul, his blood essence and with some anticipation of her character being pretty much similar to him since her every point of source is only him yet also only and only devoted to none other him. Ignoring every other man in existence.

Sorry.... every other male in existence.

This is like literally every man’s dream. Why should he even ever regret it.

She remembered it so it is sure that it is definitely her, not someone or something taken form similar to her. There is no doubt about that but....

But something was wrong.

This wasn’t her normal voice, this was her body repeating something. Like a line programmed. A script awakened the moment she returned.

Her steps were slow as she rose fully.

Unashamed from showing her all part, every place visibly, which stays censored all time with cloths. Hungry for mating, few drops of fluid dripping from the nether cave while she walked. Already aroused and somehow quench her thrust of lust.

Her is not like compacted slimy love substance similar to other four and sticky. Her is still less condensed like dripping melting ice but it is definitely not ice.

Every motion was aimed at him.

Gin’s mind raced.

She had awakened, yes. Super hot, also yes. Mood to do hanky panky, absolutely.

But instead of regaining her senses, she had dropped immediately into the trance. She is not doing these things on her own, her body is doing things by itself.

As if something had waited for her to be conscious... before sliding a collar around her mind.

She walked toward him, each step silent and heavy with that unnatural pull. While moisturising the forest floor below them.

He didn’t hesitate.

With a sudden leap, he bolted from the canopy.

His claws tore through the moss, body low to the ground, his tail slicing the air behind him. He didn’t look back not yet. His only thought was distance.

But halfway through the clearing, something made him stop.

He turned.

Through the broken vines of Alice’s canopy, he could see her figure again.

No longer standing. No longer walking toward him.

She was back on the ground. Eyes closed. Arms relaxed at her sides.

Exactly as she had been before.

As if none of it had happened.

The robe restored. She wore them back or something put it back on her.

The movement gone.

As if time had been rewinded back before he dashed inside in hope of finding someone not similar to others.

’What the hell...!’

Gin’s breath clouded in front of his muzzle. His heart hammered with a different kind of fear now.

Not panic. Not even rage.

Something colder.

Realization.

She had woken. Moved. Spoken. Reacted to him. All of it was real.

And yet the moment he left...

She returned to the trance.

It wasn’t random. It wasn’t chaos. This was structured.

Coordinated.

He slowly turned his head and spiritual sense to look at the others.

The canopy where Lucy and Saira moved with that awful grace, locked in a rhythm that pulsed in sync with the vines above.

Xingning and Jean, still the same repetitive, carnal dance.

Alice silent again, a sleeper in a nest.

He turned his gaze to the vines.

They stretched between the canopies like living nerves. Softly glowing. Glistening with the same pulse. The same rhythm.

Each throb lined up with the others.

And deep in the ground... he could sense it.

A hub.

A central force.

He didn’t need to analyze further.

He just knew.

The vines were doing this.

Maybe not the source but the web. The network to spread the control of the owner.

The energy moved through them, synchronizing the others, influencing their bodies, guiding their instincts like threads in a puppet’s hand.

Gin’s eyes narrowed.

He could no longer hesitate.

He looked toward a vine further from camp one not directly attached to any canopy. It curved upward from the forest floor, thick as a trunk but gleaming with a strange internal glow.

A feeder line.

Or a root.

Or as tentacles of a wood creature.

Didn’t matter.

He crouched low, bared his fangs, and surged forward.

No hesitation. No warning. No scanning.

His body moved with full physical force.

He slammed into the vine.

The impact thundered.

A crack split through the thick plant-flesh. Pale green ichor burst from the rupture like pressurized sap. The vine spasmed under the blow, writhing once, and then fell limp at the damaged section.

Light flashed up its length like a warning beacon. But dimmed next moment.

Gin stumbled back, braced for retaliation.

But nothing happened.

He waited, stayed in his place, ready to counterattack at any moment.

But forest just as it was continued same procedure.

Not anything happening for few minutes he look around and soon spotted two beasts and similar glowing vine hanging from tree, where the beats are engaged in their own world on top of it, on a thick branch.

While observing it for few second he dashed again for the second.

Again no hesitation, on full strength Gin slammed onto the vine and tree.

Something different happened this time.

Nothing broke, nothing snapped. Nothing even moved just like Lucy-Saira, Xingning-Jean and Alice’s canopy.

Then like snap of a rubber he bounced back and slammed onto the tree again with all of his physical force but this time with some green elemental energy covered in front on him by simulating the tree.

A light scricthing scream soon followed after his contact with the vine.

Not a sound from mouths or beasts.

It echoed throughout the world itself.

Not ground, grass, trees, earth, not at little distance canopies not something in the air.

It flowed from everywhere.

Like a psychic blade slicing through his ears, not loud enough to hurt him. But enough to disturb his focus, effect his mind even for a little.

He howled in pain, ears pinned back, vision swimming with stars. He isn’t hurt physically much but as if something was scratching inside his head.

The ground pulsed underfoot soon after.

The canopies flashed.

First Alice’s.

Then Xingning’s.

Then Lucy and Saira’s.

The vines reacted with intensity.

For a moment, the trance faltered.

Inside Lucy and Saira’s canopy, their bodies missed a beat. A pause. A second of stillness.

Jean stopped her rhythmic motion with Xingning.

Even Alice’s fingers twitched.

Then

All opened their eyes in same motion.

As if a someone just said cut in middle of shoot.

But Gin saw something else while looking at them.

He stood still, panting, blood trickling down one paw from the impact.

His eyes locked on their figure. Looking at their expressions he knew

It was only beginning.
