Was something bad was going to happen to her?

Gu Jin averted her gaze and walked toward the school entrance.

Maybe Ren Aiguo was in some jungle area...hence his phone was unreachable.

She called the receptionist and the call went through,

"Hey! I am Su Jin." Gu Jin said in a hurried pace.

The receptionist was instantly happy and chatted,

"Hii, Mr. Su, how is your shop going on..."

Gu Jin interrupted her and said,

"Yeah! It is going good. Actually I called you to ask about the elder’s whereabouts!"

The receptionist’s tone shifted, becoming more businesslike as she responded,

"Oh, Elder Wu is currently in a meeting, but I can connect you to his assistant if you’d like."

Gu Jin nodded, relieved that she was making progress. "Yes, please do that. It’s urgent."
