He took a step closer, his voice pleading, "Grandma, please, I beg you, don’t trust her. I don’t know where she got those pills from, but they could be dangerous!"

The maid remained composed, her demeanor unwavering.

The old lady watched the exchange between her grandson and her maid, "Enough," she finally said, her voice firm yet gentle.

With that, she reached out and took the pill from the maid’s hand, much to the young man’s dismay.

He watched helplessly as his grandmother swallowed the pill, hoping against hope that nothing would go wrong.

Minutes passed in tense silence as they waited for any sign of reaction from the pill.

The young man held his breath, his heart pounding in his chest.

The old lady suddenly closed her eyes and started cultivation.
