Chapter 382: Awakening Elements

Chapter 382: Chapter 382: Awakening Elements

Soon, the space’s voice sounded, "Master the ring has been absorbed."

Gu Jin heaved a sigh of relief. To say she was 100% sure the method would work would be a lie.

She didn’t even know as to why the ring was able to gobble up the cultivation artifacts now.

However, now with her experiment successful, Gu Jin only wanted to cheer up herself.

"No...now is not the time to think about other stuff. I should start to cultivate and see how much progress I can make in a day." She muttered and quickly got into a cultivation state.

For the next 10 hours, Gu Jin cultivated.

With the stacking effect, Gu Jin’s cultivation was increased 11 times.

It was so fast that Gu Jin was able to make significant progress in each of her elements.

Her Plant Element was the one with the least progress. She reached Tier-1 of the Emperor Rank.

(Cultivation rank: Primary --> Intermediate --> Advanced --> Super --> Emperor --> Heaven)

Her Dark Fire element reached tier 2 of the Advanced Stage. Her fire element reached Tier 2 of the Advanced Stage.

As for the necromancy element, it reached Tier 3 of the Intermediate Stage.

Her thunder element made the most progress, she reached tier 2 of the Primary Rank.

The next day.

At the training ground, Long Yifan announced,

"You all will continue with the same training for the next 2 weeks, but after 2 weeks, an assessment will conducted, and based on the assessment it will be decided whether you will move forward with your peers or will have to repeat the training. Does everyone understand?"

All the students nodded.

"Alright then, everyone can start with their daily training. Miss Gu Jin, please stay behind I want to talk with you."

The students who were about to leave lurked behind and wanted to know how Long Yifan was planning to flirt with Gu Jin today.

It had become a routine for Senior Long to flirt with Gu Jin. By now everyone from the junior year knew, about his pursuit...

Gu Jin with a stiff face walked up to Long Yifan. Seeing the gentle look in his eyes, she almost slapped him.

This dog truly knew how to embarrass her every day.

Sure enough, when Long Yifan opened his mouth the words that left his mouth stunned her,

"Did you sleep well yesterday? Is the mattress of your dorm room hard? Should I ask someone to replace it?"

Gu Jin: "..." Dog!

"I slept well, sir." Gu Jin calmly retorted.

"That’s good to hear. You know, if there’s anything you need, don’t hesitate to tell me. I’d be happy to help."

Gu Jin forced a polite smile, though her patience was already wearing thin.

"Thank you, sir. I’ll let you know if I need anything."

Long Yifan leaned in slightly, lowering his voice.

"Alright, come have breakfast first. I have brought your favorite breakfast."

"Sir I already had my breakfast." Gu Jin spoke, her words laced with nonchalance.

Long Yifan sighed helplessly,

"Alright, if you don’t want me to be present in front of you, I will leave but don’t skip breakfast. It is not good for your health."

Gu Jin took a deep breath. She wasn’t sure if he was genuinely concerned or just finding another excuse to talk to her.

Either way, she wanted to end the conversation as quickly as possible.

"Thank you for your concern, sir. I’ll make sure to eat properly."

Long Yifan didn’t push her further, instead, he handed her the breakfast.

While leaving he cheered himself in his heart,

’Come on! A way to a woman’s heart is through her stomach! As long as I show how good my cooking skills and other home chores skills are, she might consider me as a spare tire!’

As he walked away, Gu Jin let out a small sigh of relief. Finally, she could get back to her training without any interruptions.

As for breakfast, Gu Jin calmly went to a corner, took a bite, and paused.

Long Yifan’s cooking was for sure amazing...

Her stomach at least doesn’t hurt.

Earlier Liang Bao and Lu Siyao used to take care of her food schedule. After their departure, Gu Jin rarely paid attention to her food.

Now with Long Yifan’s arrival, Gu Jin always has her food on time.

The other students, who had been pretending to stretch or adjust their gear, quickly scattered when they saw her looking in their direction.

She could still hear their whispers as they moved away.

"Did you see that? He brought her breakfast! How romantic!"

"Romantic? More like annoying! She clearly doesn’t like him back."

"Yeah, but you’ve got to give it to Senior Long. He doesn’t give up easily."

Gu Jin ignored the chatter and walked toward her assigned area.

Luo Meng joined her and said softly,

"Senior Long is indeed caring. Master, I think you should forgive him."

Gu Jin halted in her tracks and looked at him with a serious expression,

"Don’t ever tell me, whom I should and whom I shouldn’t forgive."

Luo Meng was secretly delighted in his heart, from Gu Jin’s reaction it was clear that she would never forgive Long Yifan!

However, he showed a wronged look and nodded.

"So master, are you free after the military training today? Why not explore the university’s market together? I have heard there are some famous spots for couples too..."

Gu Jin shook her head,

"I have some work to do. Let’s explore it tomorrow."

Of course, she didn’t tell Luo Meng that she had explored the market yesterday on her own.

Luo Meng nodded, "Alright then."

At evening.

Gu Jin sighed when she saw the two stones on her desk.

She has space and chaos awakening stone and for the shadow stone, she will have to wait.

It was a strange incident.

The shadow stone which hardly ever garnered any attention before, now suddenly has become extinct.

Reason? The country popular for its shadow awakening stone was attacked by some supreme-rank beast.

As a result, the shadow stone’s supply chain was affected and now, it has become costly and rare.

"I will wait for it till the next week, I guess..." Gu Jin muttered.

.She took a deep breath, calming her mind.

First, I’ll deal with the Space Awakening Stone, she thought.

Picking up the greyish-white stone, she felt a faint pulse of energy in her palm.

It was cool to the touch, almost as if it were alive.

Closing her eyes, Gu Jin allowed her mana to flow toward the stone, guiding its energy into her mana space.

Soon, a familiar voice echoed softly in her mind.

"Master, the awakening process has begun."

In her mana space, a sudden ripple formed, as though a stone had been thrown into a calm pond.

Gu Jin’s eyes remained closed as she focused on the scene unfolding within her mana space.

A small, semi-circular ball, glowing faintly with a greyish-white hue, emerged out of thin air.

It floated gently as if testing its new surroundings.

The greyish-white orb began to move, slowly making its way toward the large white circular ball at the center of her mana space.

As the new orb approached, it hesitated for a moment, as if waiting for permission to join.

Then, with a soft hum, it began to revolve around the white core, settling into a smooth, steady orbit.

Her space spoke again, its tone filled with a rare excitement.

"Master, congratulations on successfully awakening the Space Element."

Gu Jin slowly opened her eyes, a faint smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

Awakening one element meant less probability of suffering from the pain of awakening an element on her own.

She placed the now-empty stone aside, her fingers brushing against the Chaos Awakening Stone.

Unlike the Space Stone, this one radiated a wild, unpredictable energy.

It seemed to pulse erratically as if it held too much power to be contained.

Focus, Gu Jin, she told herself. She picked up the Chaos Stone, its surface warm against her skin.

Closing her eyes again, she began to channel her mana into the stone, just as she had with the Space Stone.

The process was similar, but this time, a small, black-and-red semi-circular orb, glowing with an intense, almost dangerous light.

The orb seemed restless, darting back and forth as if it couldn’t decide where to go.

Gu Jin steadied her breathing.

Slowly, the orb began to move toward the center, though its erratic behavior didn’t completely disappear.

It neared the Black Mana ball

When the orb reached the Black Mana, it didn’t hesitate.

With a sharp burst of light, it began to orbit the core, its black-and-red glow standing out starkly against the calmer hues of her other elements.

"Master, the Chaos Element has been successfully awakened." The space’s voice sounded.

Gu Jin opened her eyes again, a slight sheen of sweat on her forehead.

Awakening the Chaos Element had taken more energy than she’d expected, but it was worth it.
