She asked cautiously,

Even Liang Bao and Lu Siyao relaxed. They looked towards Gu Jin, who eyed them.

Pei Ke snorted,

Lu Siyao shook her ears and said,

"Is some dog barking?"

"You! How dare you call me dog!"

"I didn’t call you dog. Whoever responded is a dog!" Lu Siyao rolled her eyes.

Jin Mu frowned,

"Ke! Stop it."

Though she didn’t like Lu Siyao’s words, it was indeed Pei Ke who started to spout unreasonable words.

Pei Ke was filled with anger,

"Jin Mu if you continue to side with other people I will break up!"

Jin Mu’s eyes turned moistened upon hearing his words.

Gu Jin frowned,

Lu Siyao and Liang Bao were a bit surprised.

However before the portal could suck Pei Ke, Jin Mu pushed him away.

Suddenly an invisible force tried to suck Pei Ke in.

Jin Mu hurriedly used her psychic spell to throw Pei Ke away.

As a result, the invisible force sucked Jin Mu.

"Mu’er!" Pei Ke shouted and leaped into the black portal.

However, before he could enter the black portal closed

Pei Ke slammed into the ground as the black portal vanished before his eyes.

The silence that followed was deafening. His heart raced, panic and despair setting in as he realized Jin Mu was gone.

"Mu’er!" he screamed, pounding the ground in frustration. His hands trembled, and for a moment, he was paralyzed with fear.

What had just happened? Where did that portal come from? And where had it taken Jin Mu?
