By the time Gu Jin opened her eyes, she saw Lu Siyao and Liang Bao by her side.

"Jin’er? Thank god you finally woke up!"

Both of them tightly hugged Gu Jin.

"Bao’er?" Gu Jin’s eyes widened.

Liang Bao’s eyes were moist and she hugged Gu Jin even more tightly,

"Jin’er I am sorry! I should have waited for you to tear the talismans!" Lu Siyao’s eyes were red. If one looked closely they would realize that Lu Siyao was very tired.

"Yes! Damn, this teleportation talismans! It almost threw me out of the forest!" Liang Bao said grumpily.

"You were only thrown out of the forest, I was teleported to our inn room." Lu Siyao gritted her teeth.

Gu Jin was surprised,

"So far away?"

"Yes, Jin’er. Anyways you rest for now. The dinner will be ready soon." Lu Siyao said.

Gu Jin nodded.

However, she was worried as to where the four mages were.

What if they were somewhere near?

She can’t let such dangerous people roam around as if nothing happened!

After dinner, Lu Siyao suggested,

"Jin’er let’s stop, I don’t think so the trip is lucky for us."

Since arriving they kept on meeting disasters one after the other.

First, they met master-level beats but thanks to their Jin’er’s strength they were able to survive.

Then, they met an unreasonable person and almost lost Liang Bao.

Thank god Liang Bao wasn’t dead otherwise the trip would be declared as the cursed one.

Just when she thought the disaster was over, Gu Jin was surrounded by 4 super mages.

To be honest she was truly astonished by Gu Jin’s persistence.

She didn’t know how Gu Jin was able to survive against the 4 super mages for 3 hours!

Not to mention, she was also able to build a safe tent for herself.

Lu Siyao and Liang Bao both of them were impressed.

"I agree." Liang Bao said immediately.

Gu Jin frowned,

"No, we will continue."

"But Jin’er you are injured!" Lu Siyao was worried about Gu Jin’s injuries and didn’t care about the artifact.

Gu Jin’s heart warmed a bit but she shook her head,

"Even though we kept on meeting with different disasters, we were able to come up with a solution each time."

Lu Siyao and Liang Bao exchanged looks and finally said,

"Jin’er if you can heal yourself before tomorrow we will continue with the journey."

After finishing their words, both of them hurriedly lay down and started to chat about random topics.

They didn’t have any healer and they didn’t have top grade of healing pills too!

Did a fairy come and heal Gu Jin in just one night?

As if sensing Lu SIyao’s gaze, Gu Jin opened her eyes and greeted her energetically.

"Good morning Siyao."

Lu Siyao narrowed her eyes and asked,

"Jin’er answer me truthfully did you use some forbidden technique?"

"No."

"Then how did you..."

"I have my own methods." Gu Jin said calmly.

Lu Siyao gave up.

At last under the insistence of Gu Jin, the trio continued with their adventure.

Along the way, they encountered many beasts.

They fought with some and ran away from some. Their primary goal was to save as much energy as they could.

Gu Jin collected many herbs along the way, Liang Bao collected various metals, and Lu Siyao collected many artifacts.

As for how they collected metals and artifacts?

Well, it was from the dead bodies of the stranger.

Of course, they didn’t forget to take those strangers with them.

Once outside of the mistwood forest they would hand over these bodies to the official and let their family members know.

Gu Jin suddenly remembered about the Mystical Tree Liang Bao had talked about and asked,

"Bao’er that day you were talking about Mystical tree, what was it?"

Liang Bao was stunned and asked while pointing a finger at herself,

"Me?"

"Yes." Gu Jin nodded.

"When?"

"When we met at the...wait you don’t remember?" Gu Jin was suddenly on alert.

Was this a parasite?

Liang Bao was stunned when she saw Gu Jins’ guarded look and asked,

"Jin’er what are you talking about? What mystical tree?"

Gu Jin narrowed her eyes and turned to look at Lu Siyao,

"You tell me. Did we or we not talk about the mystical tree a few days ago?"

Lu Siyao frowned,

"No, we didn’t-"

Lu Siyao couldn’t even finish her words when Gu Jin’s expression changed and she suddenly backed away and stood in a defensive stance,

"Who are you both?"

"Don’t act so innocent! Tell me quickly otherwise I will attack you!" Gu Jin warned.

Liang Bao carefully looked at Gu Jin and said,

"How about this, we will tell you the entire talk we had in the private room and you tell us about how we reached Mistwood?"

By now even Liang Bao and Lu Siyao had turned wary.

Gu Jin shook her head,

"Just show me the equipment I had given you both."

Liang Bao and Lu Siyao took out a tracking talisman and Gu Jin believed them a little.

"Now you show us..."

Without waiting for them to say anything Gu Jin calmly took out the set of resources given by Lu Siyao to her.

"This...then Jin’er what are you talking about? What mystical tree?"

"Come I will show you." Gu Jin said and led them toward the direction where she had seen the mystical tree last time.

What was happening?

First Liang Bao and Lu Siyao forgot about the conversation, then they forgot about seeing the mystical tree and now the mystical tree itself vanished!
