They left the house, making their way to the market.

The streets were bustling with people, and the air was filled with the chatter of vendors and customers.

The lively atmosphere helped ease some of the tension from the previous night.

"Let’s go to a mall first! I can’t bear to shop in the heat," Lu Siyao suggested.

Gu Jin nodded in agreement, and they headed to a nearby mall.

The air conditioning was a welcome relief, and they began to browse through the various stores.

"Let’s first buy some clothes. The last time I bought clothes was when I was 15! Now I am about to turn 17, yet I wear the same clothes repeatedly!" Lu Siyao sighed.

Liang Bao joined in, selecting a few pieces and asking for opinions.

Gu Jin, still feeling a bit self-conscious about her makeup and outfit, browsed through the racks with a more reserved approach.

Suddenly, Lu Siyao appeared with a dress in her hands. "Go and try this one," she said, holding up a stunning red gown.

The dress was exquisite. It was a deep crimson color with intricate black lace detailing along the bodice and hem.

The neckline was a modest V, and the back dipped slightly, giving it an elegant yet alluring look.

The fabric flowed gracefully, and the gown seemed to shimmer subtly under the mall’s lighting.

Gu Jin hesitated, eyeing the dress warily.

"Siyao, this looks too... much," she said, but Lu Siyao was already pushing her towards the changing rooms.

"No arguments, Jin’er. Just try it on. Trust me, you’ll look amazing," Lu Siyao insisted.

Reluctantly, Gu Jin took the dress and went into the changing room.

Anyways she would have to listen to Lu Siyao in the end.

As she slipped into the gown, she couldn’t help but admire how well it fit.

The fabric hugged her figure perfectly, and the color complemented her complexion. Taking a deep breath, she stepped out of the changing room.

The moment Gu Jin emerged, Lu Siyao and Liang Bao’s eyes widened in awe.

"Wow, Jin’er, you look like a goddess!" Lu Siyao exclaimed, clapping her hands together in delight.

Liang Bao nodded in agreement, a smile spreading across her face.

"Absolutely stunning. You should definitely get this dress."

At the same time, a cheerful girl who was passing by took out her phone to snap a picture of the store’s display.

Inadvertently, she captured Gu Jin in the background, her outfit and face perfectly framed in the shot.

The other one had a blue hair.

"Wow! That girl is so beautiful! I wish she was my girlfriend!"

The blue-haired young man rolled his eyes.

This guy already had more than 3 girlfriends and he still wants to make more?

"Gao Xiong, why are you so curious about whether Yifan is wearing a green hat or not?" Fei Hazhu asked. His eyes were narrowed.

"Ah! Brother Hanzhu, how could you suspect me? I was just curious!" Gao Xiong said as he rubbed the back of his head.

"By the way, brother Hanzhu, why are we in Fujio city? Even after I asked so many times, you didn’t answer. Just what secret are you trying to hide?" Gao Xiong asked.

Fei Hanzhu’s expression turned serious.

The higher-ups had given Long Yifan a task that was completed by him in just 4 months, yet he dragged his stay in Fujio City.

When the higher-ups again asked Long Yifan to go to Fujio City again, declined firmly. Which was truly strange.

"No, thank you," she replied coldly. "I can buy my own clothes."

Gao Xiong’s smile faltered for a moment, but he quickly recovered.

"Come on, it’s just a small gesture of appreciation. It’s not every day I see someone as stunning as you."

Lu Siyao and Liang Bao exchanged glances, unsure of how to react to the sudden intrusion.
