"Why Seocnd Elder is dead and those three are alive? Kill them too." Old Wu ordered.

Long Yifan chuckled coldly as he said,

"I don’t take orders and also I have my reason."

He killed the Second Elder because he found him detestable. As for Young Master Sang and his three subordinates, he wanted to kill them but Gu Jin was the one who suffered the most, she should be the one deciding the fate of those three.

Old Wu, Old Xiang, and Old Fan’s expressions turned sour.

"What happened?" Gu Jin asked.

After drinking a glass of water, her shyness decreased a bit and after some mental counseling, she returned with a tray containing 3 glasses of water.

Old Wu forced a smile and said,

"Nothing."

Gu Jin’s expression turned serious and after placing the tray on the table she passed a cup of water to Old Wu.

Turning toward Old Xiang, she asked with a serious expression,

"So after doing that with the girl, they can increase their cultivation?"

Old Xiang nodded his head with difficulty.

Gu Jin asked Long Yifan,

"Where are they now?"

Long Yifan sipped the tea in front of him and told her the truth,

"Half dead. My subordinates are torturing them."

"Kill them." Gu Jin said emotionlessly.

She always believed in destroying the problem from its roots and hence she asked,

"What is the background of that Young Master Sang? Is he powerful?"

Long Yifan nodded and didn’t hide anything from her as he said,

"He has a very powerful background, are you sure you want to kill him?"

Long Yifan had already dealt with Young Master Sang’s father, so it shouldn’t be a problem if he killed Young Master Sang, however, Gu Jin didn’t know this, hence he was curious about what she would do after knowing his background.

Would she blackout? Or would she remain on the decision?

It was a decision between being a coward or foolish. And Long Yifan was truly curious about Gu Jin’s decision.

"How powerful?" Gu Jin asked with narrowed eyes.

Long Yifan took his time as he said,

"He is very powerful. So powerful that in Fu Jio City there is hardly any association or wealthy family who would oppose him."

Long Yifan didn’t conclude directly and instead asked,

"Then the power behind him? How would deal with it? Don’t think that Alchemy Tower would be able to protect you, they are nothing but a mere ant in front of the elephant."

Gu Jin looked at the three elders who were glaring at Long Yifan but didn’t refute him.

Long Yifan chuckled and Gu Jin looked towards him.

Her entire aura excluded confidence, and grace, with a hint of calculation in her eyes and the coldness in her smile was a truly mesmerizing sight...

The three elders were surprised and looked at Gu Jin in unison.

"But Jin, without us, you will face constant attack and..." Old Wu didn’t finish but Gu Jin understood his words.

Facing constant assassination was not a big deal for Gu Jin, after all before entering the Magic World, she had faced many assassination attacks, and it was nothing knew for her.

What Elder Wu meant was, that without their backing, Gu Jin wouldn’t even be able to stand in court.

Gu Jin asked Old Wu,

"Is Young Master Sang a genius? And what he does everyday?"

"Young Master Sang’s father doesn’t like him and it is possible that his father has already married someone else or has a mistress right?"

Long Yifan and the three elders were surprised.

Indeed Young Master Sang’s father had married his mistress but...

There were hardly any people who knew about this marriage. Even the Elders of the Sang family don’t know this so how come Gu Jin knows?
