Chapter 63: She is a witch

Chapter 63: She is a witch

Elliana sighed and contemplated the lady’s words again.

The lady said she will train her. But how is that possible now?

Earlier when G trained her into meditation, it was possible only because she was in prison at that time.

When Elliana used to train herself in sword fighting or fighting casually, it was all because no one ever bothered with her health or whether she was alive or not in the human kingdom until they needed something from her.

However, after marrying the prince, things have become completely different. It’s like someone is constantly watching over her. She can’t be alone anywhere.

In the time she is out of the palace, she comes to the university. Here she doesn’t get much time for herself. And in the palace, there is no way she can invite this lady or the prince might become suspicious of her.

"I understand what you are thinking about, little girl. I know you are married and don’t get enough time alone since you are constantly under supervision. Leave that to me. If you say yes now, it would be my responsibility to ensure I train you daily when no one is around and in a way that no one ever finds out," the lady said.

However, when she noticed that Elliana didn’t look convinced, she sighed.

It’s harder than she had anticipated.

"Fine! I’ll tell you the truth. I am a witch, okay? I can come and go to places without being noticed. Geez, you are more suspicious than my leader," the lady’s words made Elliana raise her brows and she looked at the lady’s mouth-agape.

"You are a witch?" She felt excited.

"I have heard about them, but haven’t seen one in real life. Do you guys have brooms to travel?" Elliana’s eyes were wide as she looked at the lady in anticipation.

"That’s an overrated myth," the lady sighed when she noticed that the little girl looked disappointed.

"Girl, that’s not -"

"Uhh... it’s okay. Then, can you turn this tree into a mountain? Can you make it rain? Can you give me loads of money? Can you click your fingers like this and make pizza and -"

"Stop. I can indeed do all that. You want some proof, right? Here," The lady clicked her fingers, and a pizza box appeared on the ground.

Elliana’s nose twitched with the fragrance, and she sat on the ground before opening it.

It was indeed a country-special pizza. She blinked happily and looked at the witch before extending her hands.

"Hehe,"

The lady looked at the girl in confusion, unsure what she wanted her to do.

"Clean my hands with your powers. I want to eat it. It would be a waste of food," Elliana said innocently as if it was the most normal thing to ask a witch

The lady - "..." she didn’t know what to say anymore.

Never in a hundred years was she rendered to use her magna and powers to make a pizza out of thin air and clean a girl’s hand.

It enraged and annoyed her at the same time. But she knew she couldn’t get angry at this little girl.

The lady looked at Elliana and swore this little girl was more dangerous to her mental health than all the hard meditation she did.

"Here," The lady took out her handkerchief and wiped Elliana’s hand, who immediately started eating.

"Since you are a witch and can do anything...I don’t need to worry about stuff. Let’s do the training," Elliana nodded with her mouth full, and the lady looked at her with a forced smile.

The lady - (=_=)

So all the explanation she did so far about how her powers were dangerous and would rain havoc and stuff was all bullsh*t in front of this pizza box? She clenched and unclenched her fingers before looking at the girl who was busy eating.

Seeing her eating with such innocence and focus, the lady finally sighed before a genuine smile appeared on her face. This girl really has no sense of security, does she? She didn’t even care if this food was poisoned. This girl believes too easily.

The lady pinched her nose before taking a deep breath.

Why was she getting angry at a girl who doesn’t know anything about the world? The only thing she has been accustomed to is pain. How can she expect this little girl to understand everything at once? Wasn’t it already great that she was willing to trust her?

The lady waited for Elliana to finish her meal, and once she was done, she gave her the handkerchief to wipe her hands again.

Elliana stood and as soon as she did that, the pizza box disappeared.

"Since you have agreed to training, there are a few rules that I want you to go over. Also, these rules are to be followed in daily life if you don’t want to get busted," The lady said, and Elliana nodded.

"This cave you see here is one of the calling zones for me. We have such caves all around the world. It’s not exactly a cave Hut a pathway that only we can use," the lady explained.

That’s the reason Elliana found this cave so strange. It was too beautiful and unique to be here. Now she knows why it’s here. It’s the passage for these witches.

"Let me warn you. This training isn’t some sword fighting or language learning that you can drop in the middle and nothing would happen. If you learn half the knowledge, it’s more harmful to others than knowing nothing. So you’ll have to complete it with me until I say you are ready, okay?" The lady asked.

"Yes, mam," Elliana saluted like a soldier, and the lady chuckled before shaking her head.

"You can just call me, Yaretzi," the lady smiled before taking a deep breath and becoming serious.

"The first rule is, you are not allowed to tattle tale about your powers, chakra control, this training, or me to anyone. The moment you do that, you’ll be left alone to tend to yourself," the lady commented and turned her back to Elliana.

Elliana hummed verbally as she traced the designs of the cave and looked at a weird dragon-like circle.

"What’s that?" She wondered in her mind.

"Rule number two. No matter what happens, once you clench your fists and feel a flow of power in your palms, don’t open your palms facing anyone or anything. Your powers will attack it in a defensive mode," the lady’s words made Elliana raise her brows in amazement.

It was a lot to take in. How was she supposed to know when her powers are in the palm of her hand? What if she accidentally releases it? Will things go haywire? What kind of damage can her powers really do?

Many questions were swirling in her mind, and she waited for the lady to explain everything with time.

"If you feel the powers in your hand and you want to calm them, open your palms towards yourself. Your powers will never harm you. There are other methods, but you’ll learn them over time," the lady sighed and turned to Elliana who was tracing the cave.

"Rule number three. I might be bringing you to many places to train you according to the circumstances and what your body and powers need, but you are not allowed to touch anything anywhere without my permission. Everything around you will have consequences and reactions, and it’s better to not play with them, yeah?" The lady asked, and Elliana hummed.

"You see that dragon-like circle?" Elliana looked back at the dragon-like circle and hummed.

"It’s a button-like thing that brings you to another dimension and places, and you are -"

The lady couldn’t even complete her sentence when Elliana pressed the button accidentally to touch the carvings more.

The lady closed her eyes in annoyance because as soon as Elliana pressed the button, they were brought to a dark place with a red sky.

" -not allowed to touch it," The lady ended and sighed.

Elliana looked around in horror. This place was hot. And it wasn’t some unpleasant summer. It was hot like hell.

Her skin felt like someone was torturing her in some kind of oven. Her scalp felt itchy and dry, and her hair felt like it would burn any second.

Elliana noticed she was standing on a cliff. The wind was blowing very fast. It was so fast that it almost looked like it wanted to blow Elliana along with itself, like a tornado that wants to engulf her.

There were no trees in the area. No, let’s rephrase, there were no green trees in the area. Everything looked so dead. She looked at the sky, which had thundering sounds, and noticed the black clouds forming.

There was no way this was a real world. This place or whatever it was, can’t belong to Earth. It can’t be. This place looked exactly what she had always thought hell would look like.

As Elliana looked around, she heard a weird boiling sound.

She narrowed her eyes and looked around. When she couldn’t find anything, she turned towards her backside and stepped closer to the cliff to see what it was.

To say her eyes widened and her heart thumped in fear would be an understatement. There, a couple of hundred feet below her, red-hot lava was blazing, and Elliana gulped.

She hurriedly stepped back, but due to fear, her sandals slipped and her heel collided with one of the cracks. The cliff corner she was standing on cracked, making her widen her eyes, as her foot slipped along with the rock and fell.

"Yaretzi!" Elliana shrieked in horror.
