The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride
Chapter 590: The culprit was caught

Chapter 590: The culprit was caught

"King Sebastian," Pluto whispered, unsure if what he was doing was good or not.

Was Azrael really helpless in front of the Vampire King or was she pretending to be weak because she had an ulterior motive in mind? Pluto pressed his lips into a thin line.

Sebastian didn’t look at anyone else, he kept looking straight into the woman’s eyes before a smile appeared on his face, a smile that promised nothing good and pure miseries.

"Leave me! Sebastian! Let go of me!" Azrael started to struggle in his grip when she realized she wasn’t able to perform even basic teleportation all because he was holding her neck.

Sebastian didn’t move from his place and tightened his grip around her neck. The sickening sound of her gagging and a bone cracking echoed in the silent environment and a gasp left Azura’s mouth.

However, what happened next surprised them completely. As soon as Azrael’s bones started to crack, King Eros fell on his knees, breathing heavily, clutching his neck in a tight grip.

"S-someone, please make it stop," King Eros coughed blood, his weak body suffering terribly, unsure of what was going on.

Azura looked at her husband before flickering her gaze to Azrael, who though struggling was smiling with her pale face.

It didn’t take a genius to understand what was going on.

"King Sebastian, please don’t harm her. She has interlinked her powers with King Eros. If anything happened to her, King Eros would die too. Please show some mercy. I beg you," Azura fell on her knees in front of Sebastian, knowing all too well that the beast who had taken over him to protect his wife wouldn’t see anything or understand any logic.

Seeing how Sebastian was still unyielding, Azura immediately held her daughter’s hand who was though tired but was still conscious.

Azura wiped her eyes before looking at her daughter earnestly, hope clear in her eyes. She knew only Elliana was there who could help her anymore.

"Elliana, baby, please make your husband understand things. If something happens to Azrael, your dad will die too," Azura said to Elliana, and the girl, who was lying in Sebastian’s arms with her eyes closed, finally opened her eyes, breathing shallowly.

She looked at her father who was struggling on the ground before her gaze shifted to her husband, who was looking at Azrael with the intent of murder clear in his eyes.

"Hey," Elliana whispered, her black eyes turning back to her hazel ones as she cupped her husband’s face, forcing him to look into his eyes, making Sebastian’s black eyes turn back to his amber ones as he gripped her close to himself.

Elliana smiled at her husband, looking into his eyes before she grabbed his coat in a tight grip.

"At the end of the day, it was indeed your love that protected me," She whispered.

Sebastian took a deep breath to contain his devil side who wanted to place Elliana aside and end this witch first.

"Don’t kill her. If something happened to my dad, I wouldn’t be able to live with it, Mr. Marino. All my sacrifices and pain will go in vain," Elliana muttered with great difficulty.

Sebastian looked at the woman who was smirking even though he was still gripping her neck.

Sebastian gritted his teeth. He didn’t want to let go of this woman who had been tormenting his wife for so long, but after hearing what his wife had to say, he loosened his grip, allowing King Eros to breathe, but not letting go of Azrael.

"If I let go of her today, what are the chances she won’t come back to harm my wife? Are you planning to let her run free and do whatever she wants just because she has the life of King Eros in her hand? Does your daughter’s life not matter to you at all?" Sebastian asked.

Azura looked at her sister before sighing.

"I never asked you to let go of her, King Sebastian. All I wanted was for you to not kill her in the heat of your anger because it would kill my husband," Azura said before she nodded at Nathaniel.

"Let’s take her to the area where the witch’s powers are useless. You are the only one she can’t use magic against. So only you can take her there. Once she is locked inside there, I will see to it that I find a spell to unlink my husband’s powers from her. You can kill her afterward," Azura said emotionlessly.

There was no use feeling any pain or remorse for wanting to get her sister killed. She destroyed other’s lives enough to bring this kind of fate upon herself. Azura thought and Azrael, who could clearly hear what Azura had in mind, finally started to struggle in Sebastian’s grip.

"Leave me. What locking! Have you gone insane? I dare you to lock me! Azura Minerva, I will kill you if you dare think anything -" Azura’s words were cut short when Sebastian pulled the witch close by her neck, looking straight into her eyes with his dark ones.

"It’s useless to fight it," Sebastian said.

"Let me go. Do you really think everything would be okay just because you are locking me? Do you think you would get everything in control? You are making a big mistake, Sebastian!" Azrael kept speaking as they took her to the area where a witch’s powers were useless.

She looked around at the prison with no light, her heart filled with dread as the sense of deja vu hit her. Her mind immediately went back to the night when her mother locked her inside that cell and caused her to lose her child.

She looked at everyone, gritting her teeth.

No. She can’t be locked here. If she stayed locked here, how would she be able to make use of Elliana’s siren powers and bring back her lover? How will she complete her revenge on her mother by using her bone marrow and taking her life just like her mother took her unborn baby’s life? Staying locked like this wasn’t even an option.

"No. No. You guys can’t do this to me. Sebastian, listen to me. You can’t get everything right just after locking me. Think about your brother. Do you think he is only planning to take over the throne? He has many tricks up her sleeves. I know about them all. I will help you and -" Azrael looked around helplessly, the strange sense of dread, making her panic.

Sebastian scoffed, making Azrael shut immediately. No one was going to believe her. The anger, hatred, disdain, and every negative emotion were clear in everyone’s eyes.

"Do you think after everything you have done anyone will believe you? You didn’t even spare your sister who was helping you since the beginning and tried to end her. After that, you even used her to trap us, no? Fat chance, Azrael. Now all that is left to be done by you is to rot in this place. Enjoy your time," Azura said, grabbing Azrael’s clothes from behind the bars of the prison.

She didn’t want to go inside and risk anything. After everything they suffered, their main culprit was right in front of them, imprisoned, unable to do anything.

Azura turned around, her gaze falling on her daughter, who was breathing shallowly in Sebastian’s arms while he had her pressed close to his chest.

She shifted her gaze to her husband, who was supported by Nathaniel since he also wanted to come and see the villain of their life to be imprisoned.

Elliana, who was still injured and not healing, looked into Azrael’s eyes, catching onto her emotions immediately. She bit her lips before closing her eyes. The helplessness... It was evident but...

She was too tired to care about anyone at all. Besides, this woman brought this fate upon herself.

"Mr. Marino," Elliana whispered and Sebastian immediately looked down at his wife.

"What is it, baby?" Sebastian walked out of the caves after ensuring Azrael was thoroughly locked.

Sebastian scrunched his eyebrows when he noticed Elliana’s complexion turning pale.

"I... I can’t feel my limbs anymore," Elliana whispered before losing her consciousness.

Sebastian, who was shocked by her words, looked at Azura, who widened her eyes.

"It looks like her body took quite an impact because of breathing into her own hell fire which is also a poison and -"

"Hell’s fire?" King Eros asked, surprised.

"It’s passed down to her too. In fact, she already met the Demon lord. He said he felt a connection with her when she accidentally opened the hell’s portals," Nathaniel said and King Eros nodded.

He pulled Azura out of the way before walking to look at his baby for whom he was ready to sacrifice his life.

Seeing her breathing heavily, his heart ached before he bent and was about to place his lips on her forehead when Sebastian stepped away, making the man freeze in his place.

"Let me help her," King Eros smiled at King Sebastian’s protective nature.

His heart ached to hold his child in his hands, but he could see everyone was edgy at the moment.

"Can you?" Sebastian asked and King Eros placed his hand on Elliana’s forehead, smiling softly.

"I will save her and ease her pain even if I have to give up my entire Magna and existence," King Eros whispered, proud of his daughter.
