Chapter 566: Trust her or not
Chapter 566: Trust her or not
"Will you be fine on your own, my love?" Sebastian asked.
"I will. You will be safe, right? You are not fighting yourself, right?" Elliana asked, her fists clenched on Sebastian’s overcoat as she stood close to him, her gaze concerned.
Sebastian looked into his woman’s eyes and bent before placing his lips over hers.
"I will be safe. Nothing will happen to me. I promise. Let’s bring back good news to each other, okay?" Sebastian whispered, caressing Elliana’s hair, who looked at Prince Santo who was going along with him on this operation against the human rogues.
"I... Marcello will mail you all the things and ammunition he got his hands on. Some of the sprays and their kind of smell that I made, everything will be sent to you. Please read the document in the car. We didn’t sell any scent to the humans, but I can’t say anything about the traitors in the vampire Kingdom itself," Elliana said.
Prince Stephano immediately looked at Sebastian. The question was clear in his eyes. Did he tell his wife about Prince Angelo?
Sebastian sighed and flicked her nose with his knuckles.
"Don’t worry about that stuff. Just focus on your battle in the witch University. Okay? Don’t push your limits too much. I want to come back to my healthy and bubbly wife," Sebastian said before he looked at Prince Santo.
"Is the team ready to march?"
"They are waiting for your guidance, King Sebastian," Prince Santo said, keeping his designation in mind now that they were going out of the kingdom for the fight.
"Santo, Sebastian, don’t overdo it. Let’s not repeat the same mistakes as the last time. We don’t want to wipe humanity. We just want to kill those rogue terrorists who are spreading hate and vengeance in their community. It’s for peaceful cohabitation and living," Abramo said.
Sebastian nodded at him.
Prince Santo looked at the Princess, who was looking at her husband so earnestly even when it wasn’t something big or some major battle, and couldn’t help but feel envy with his brother.
He wasn’t jealous of his youngest brother, but he won’t lie and say they didn’t crave to enjoy this feeling of a loved one sending you off or waiting for you at home.
"Mr. Marino," Elliana said, catching everyone’s attention.
"Yes, my princess?" Sebastian walked back to her, his voice automatically becoming soft for his wife.
Elliana looked at others, a bit shy, and it was as if everyone understood her shyness, they averted their gazes so the princess could do whatever she wanted to do.
Sebastian looked at his wife, slightly amused, her shyness making him smile.
Elliana stood on her tiptoes, making the man take off his mask that covered half of his face.
He bent to her eye level.
Elliana looked into his hazel eyes which made her fall in love with him at first sight before she cupped his cheeks with her soft hands as if she would break him.
"You will do great. I will wait for you and..." Elliana paused before she shifted closer to him to whisper in his ears.
"I love you to the moon and back," Elliana kissed his cheeks before kissing his forehead, melting his heart with her cuteness.
"I love you too, my princess," Sebastian kissed her shoulder before kissing her forehead.
"Now I have to go, okay? You will get late for the battle too," Sebastian whispered to her, making her nod.
As soon as Elliana saw his car left, the smile on her face dropped, replaced by worry, and she turned around, her gaze meeting Prince Vincenzo.
"Ready for the battle?" He asked and Elliana nodded as she walked to him, walking inside the palace with him.
"So what did your aunt say?" Vincenzo asked, and Elliana sighed, remembering what happened around one hour ago.

"What do you mean you want to give Eros back? If you think you can take my daughter away in exchange, keep dreaming. There is no way I will -" Azura started speaking, but Arizona smiled softly and shook her head, making Azura pause between her sentences.
"I don’t want Elliana to come with me in exchange for that," Arizona said, unsure how to continue after this sentence.
Elliana looked into the woman’s eyes and for some reason, she felt she saw a familiar emotion there.
What was it? Remorse? Guilt? Angst? But that didn’t look like it was towards them.
"What happened to you?" Azura asked, sensing something wrong with her sister for the first time.
"What do you think?" Arizona asked, tears brimming her eyes as she fell to her knees.
"I am sorry, Azura. There is nothing I can say to ease the pain you felt for eighteen long years, and I know there is no apology for this mistake because it isn’t just a mistake. It’s a sin," Tears rolled down Arizona’s cheeks as she looked down in shame.
"I... In the love of King Eros, I went so mad that I forgot what I was doing anymore. I just wanted him by hook or by crook. And for that, I went as far as snatching everything from you and conspiring everything that you guys have suffered," She sniffed before raising her gaze and looking at her sister.
"It was originally a thought in my head, but when Azrael came to me and told me it was possible, I didn’t want to believe it. However, things started to take an evil turn.
When King Eros came to me looking so devastated because he heard Elliana wouldn’t survive and I hugged him to comfort him, I didn’t want to let go. It made me realize how much I wanted him," Arizona said, ashamed of her own thoughts at that time.
"He was the man I loved, but in the end, I ended up double-crossing him, breaking his trust in ways that he might not have even thought. I wanted to have a happy life with him, but I actually made his life a living hell. He has been staying alive in that magical realm, but he isn’t living. And it’s all my fault," Arizona cried, wiping her tears pitifully.
"Everything I did, I did under the influence of Azrael. I wish it was so easy to say, but in reality, I was equally involved. However -"
"However, you came back to your senses the moment Azrael stabbed you and you realized your second sister was on no one’s team. So some kind of awakening happened to you and you got your senses and morality back," Elliana cut her speech off, and Arizona sniffed before nodding.
"Baby," Sebastian shook his head at his wife, who was being a bit insensitive.
"What? You don’t expect me to pity her after what she made my mom go through, right?" Elliana said, and Sebastian held her hand, pulling her back afraid she would start throwing her hands on the lady.
Elliana pouted and looked at him, making him sigh and pull her face into his chest to calm his raging dragon.
Azura looked at his daughter and sighed internally.
This girl really took all her bad traits. Her daughter was impatient just like her. Eros would really laugh and say now he will have to handle two naughty women now.
"Arizona, I can’t promise we can forgive you for what you did, but it’s still not too late to repent for your actions. If you want to do something right, bring back my husband to me, bring back my daughter’s father who she hasn’t lived with even for a second," Azura said.
Arizona nodded and wiped her tears before standing quickly.
"I want to return him too, but Azrael is keeping a keen eye on him too. She knows that Eros is one of the people she can use against Elliana when abducting her. That’s why she won’t make it easy.
I will unlock my realm, but you need to get a hold of him as soon as I do that so Azrael can’t take him away. That’s the main reason I came to talk to you first," Arizona said, making Azura look at Elliana.
Present~~~~~
"So? What have you guys decided?" Vincenzo asked Elliana, who looked at the letter on the bed.
"It’s more complicated than it looks. Azrael isn’t someone who will give up on the opportunity to hold my father. Besides -" she paused.
"Besides?"
"Mr. Marino thinks we shouldn’t trust this witch queen so easily. He said something about her was off," Elliana said.
"Well, if my brother made that statement, you better trust his instinct. You almost crushed me to find who was the culprit among all the princes while Sebastian got hold of all the substantial evidence that he could work on," Vincenzo rolled his eyes, remembering how rough her attack was, surprising Elliana.
She was about to comment when a blue screen appeared in the middle of the room.
"Student Elliana, you are being summoned for the battle. Accept to enter the zone,"
The automatic voice announced and Elliana took a deep breath, her heart drumming in her chest.
