Chapter 532: The person she has captured

"I am sorry, boss," The witch stood in front of her boss, bowing in apology for failing the mission given to her.

The lady who was looking at something on her crystal ball, smiled vaguely.

"It’s okay. I didn’t expect you to bring her either way. For now, I just wanted to know more about Elliana’s conscious awakening," Azrael whispered before rubbing her hand on the crystal ball to remove the scene playing.

It wasn’t surprising. She had expected this to happen. However, she was surely taken aback by the force Elliana used, not in pushing this witch away, but in knowing that she wasn’t a doctor.

Maybe it was because she was the daughter of two dark witches and was constantly drinking those poisonous herbs that are beneficial to dark witches that she had been healing so quickly.

She observed what happened in the room from the beginning to the end and there was no doubt Elliana was able to guess something was wrong with the doctor the moment her spy witch walked inside.

It was the same way she was able to guess Leila’s presence too.

It looked like she had been underestimating this girl since the beginning. This little girl wasn’t as easy to mess with as she had thought. And there was no way she was going to go be a fool like Arizona and lose her element of surprise just like that.

The power suppression doesn’t work on Elliana. It could be because her powers were suppressed for 18 years, and no suppression is as strong as that.

Azrael closed her eyes and leaned back in her seat.

Wasn’t it unfair? She didn’t want to, but she felt jealous of that 18-year-old girl.

She thought that they shared the same destiny and faith, and Elliana was walking right on her path even when she was her younger sister’s daughter. She thought they had some kind of connection and bonding with the same destiny, but she was wrong.

They both fell in love with a vampire king. She fell in love with Sebastian’s father and Elliana fell in love with Sebastian. So why was it that her love remained unrequited for so long and Elliana was allowed to live her life freely with a vampire king?

Just because that king didn’t love her back? Does that mean, Elliana would be on the same path as her again if Sebastian didn’t love her? Azrael hummed thoughtfully.

"You can leave," Azrael looked at the witch, who looked at her hesitantly.

"What is it?" Azrael asked.

"I...it felt like your sister Arizona is keeping an eye on the girl too. I felt someone’s deep observatory presence outside the room," The witch said, surprising Azrael who nodded before dismissing the witch.

An evil smile appeared on her face.

That b*tch Arizona. Everything started with her, no? All the injustice she felt and bore within the household, all started with her.

Her Elder sister was the one who complained about her love interest to their mom. She was the one who became the biggest reason behind the curse. It was all their plans. And her love had to suffer amidst all that.

Azrael gritted her teeth.

But can she really blame her sisters only when the real culprit was lying here in the cell with her?

The first daughter got the light witch kingdom, the third daughter got the dark witch kingdom, but her? What did she get apart from abomination and unending hatred just because that toxic woman also known as their mom wanted to hide her truth?

Azrael scoffed.

First, they never cared about her emotions and feelings, and when she finally turned them off, they threw her away because she didn’t have any emotions.

"Well, it can’t be helped. To avenge what I went through, everything has to be destroyed and everyone will have to suffer under my hands," Azrael smirked before she clapped her hands.

As soon as she did that, the infrastructure of the area she was standing in immediately started to change.

The chandelier of lights changed to the chandelier of bones. The curtains of the room changed into dark veils soaked in blood.

The walls of the room turned into a black ancient stone wall with claw marks all around. The place where the bed was, turned into a large cell and the decorations turned into different regions with all kinds of torturing chains and moonstones to keep the magic strengthened in the area.

Azrael smiled as her gaze landed on the person in the prison.

It was amazing how amidst all kinds of torture, this woman still found a way to sleep peacefully.

Azrael walked to one of the largest moonstones and turned it around. She looked at the ceiling of the room before clicking her fingers to open the roof. As soon as she did that, the rays of the sun fell on the moonstones, and a beam passed through all the mirrors in the room, the final beam landing on the person in the middle of the prison.

Azrael waited for the cooling magic to do its work before she lifted her poison glass and drank from it.

It was a poison that was toxic to witches, but after years of training herself with smaller doses and then increasing it slowly, she was finally able to drink half a glass of this poison without dying.

In fact, her blood was also becoming toxic for others because of all the poison running in her veins.

"Aren’t you going to wake up?" Azrael walked to the prison cell before placing her hand on the bars, melting them with the heat of her palms.

She walked inside the prison before sitting close to this person.

"What is this? Are you becoming weaker with each passing year? You know you can’t do this to me, right? There is no room for dying until I allow you to. You have to be useful to me till the very end. I am close to my target. Guess, who I have almost control of. Guess. Guess. No?" Azrael pouted disappointed before sighing.

She closed her eyes to bring a knife out of nowhere and used it to slice her palm. As soon as the blood drops started to drop on the ground, she forced her hand into the mouth of the person, forcing them to drink it.

"Mmm! Mmmm!" The person struggled under her hold, but Azrael only smiled.

"Don’t be shy. Drink it. My poison won’t hurt you. Rather it will only replenish your energy to stay alive for a few more months and -" Azrael couldn’t complete her sentence when the person in front of her bit her hand hard and her expression turned dark.

"Your evilness doesn’t seem to amaze me anymore. You should be thanking me for saving your life for so long and keeping you protected from my sisters, but rather than being thankful, you want to hurt me?" Azrael stood from her place before kicking the abdomen of the person, making them wail in anguish and pain.

"F*ck you! I can’t believe you are so evil," the person said, and Azrael chuckled darkly.

"Oh my, don’t you get tired of repeating the same words over and over again? Come on, be real. You were a sensation back in your time. Show me some creativity, Mom," Azrael smirked, looking at her mom whom she had captured for around 20 long years.
