The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride
Chapter 530: Not havoc but battle

Chapter 530: Not havoc but battle

Elliana was not in a good mood when she woke up.

And everyone around her could feel that.

"What happened to her? I swear I left her smiling," Azura whispered to Nathaniel, who shrugged, looking at Elliana with a wary expression who was sitting on the bed like a ticking time bomb.

"Elliana," Nathaniel started, making the girl look at him sharply.

"What?"

"What happened?" Nathaniel finally asked after looking at the girl for a few minutes.

Elliana pouted before extending her hands like a baby asking for a hug.

Nathaniel sighed. He walked to her and picked her up in his arms so her legs were wrapped around his torso while he hugged her, patting her back like a 5-year-old girl.

"I was manipulated. He used his vampire manipulation on me. How could he do it?" Elliana asked, and Nathaniel sighed again, looking at Azura, who was looking between Nathaniel and her daughter.

"You know I never said it aloud, but aren’t you two a bit too comfortable with each other?" Azura asked, making Nathaniel’s expression immediately turn dark.

"What is that supposed to mean, Queen Azura? Do you think I would make a move on -"

"Why can’t she come and ask me for a hug? I might not be able to pick her up like a baby myself, but I can use my powers," Azura interrupted his speech.

Nathaniel, who realized that Azura was just being jealous of him and not thinking badly of their relationship, sighed before shaking his head.

This reminds him...

"I want to cause havoc," Elliana whispered softly.

Nathaniel, who was thinking about what Azura told him last night about the machine, snapped out of his thoughts and looked at her, surprised at her choice of words.

"Hmm?"

"I want to cause havoc. Take me to the Witch University," Elliana pulled back to smile at him.

Nathaniel’s lips twitched slightly.

He didn’t even need to see it himself, he could already imagine the dean sweating when he would take Elliana there for her further training.

Though everyone in the vampire Kingdom and around already knew who Elliana was, the witch kingdom, except people like the dean and Madonna, was still oblivious to Elliana’s powers.

"Is that so? You want to train today?" Nathaniel asked.

"And what would you like to learn, my daughter?" Azura walked to them and placed her hand on Elliana’s head, caressing her.

"I want to learn how to break a magical realism, and if there is an art like that, I want to master it," Elliana said without hesitation.

Azura immediately understood why her daughter said it, and her gaze quivered.

"Baby, you don’t need to worry about it. It’s hard magic and risky for your life. You are very inexperienced when it comes to things like that. I don’t want you to -" Azura started, but Elliana smiled at her.

She patted Nathaniel’s hand, making him put her down, and she turned to look at her mother.

"I promised you I would bring him back, and I always keep my promises, Mom. After waiting for eighteen long years, I found my mom, and there is a hope that I can bring my dad too, there is no way I am going to blow this chance. Nathaniel will help me with that, right?" Elliana turned to him, the man scowling.

He looked at her with squinted brows before crossing his arms over his chest.

"Now that I think about it, why is it Mom, Dad, and Nathaniel? Why don’t you show me some respect too?" Nathaniel asked, and Elliana immediately went all smiles before wrapping her hands around his torso and hugging him.

"Well..." Elliana smiled mischievously.

"Well?" Nathaniel looked at her with furrowed brows.

"You are more of my best friend than my half-brother. Plus, I can’t just go around calling you brother Nathaniel. It’s a big title. I can call you Nathaniel. I am sure we don’t have that much age difference," Elliana smiled, and Nathaniel rolled his eyes.

He was about to argue more about how she uses honorifics with everyone regardless of age when the door of the room was knocked, and Nathaniel’s expression immediately turned cold, his eyes shining a mixture of galaxy colors, making Elliana look at him, enchanted for a second.

Why were his eyes more beautiful than hers? She wondered.

"Princess-" Lucas walked inside, his body freezing when he felt the oddly negative vibes in the room.

He looked at the witch queen and the Prince of the witch kingdom, but to his surprise, the negative vibes he was feeling were coming from their Princess.

"Is everything alright, Princess?" Lucas looked at her hesitantly.

"Hmm," Elliana whispered.

"I wanted to inform you that our King had to -"

"If you want to walk out of this room with all your limbs intact, you won’t mention him in front of me, Mr. Pablo," Elliana forced a smile that was too unnerving, and Lucas nodded vaguely.

He knew his princess would be angry when their King told them that he manipulated her into sleep because she wasn’t resting enough for her body to heal and teleported herself to other regions. Lucas had told Mr. Marino that he should’ve rather talked to the Princess than using his manipulation to put her to sleep, but their king left just like that.

Lucas cleared his throat.

"Would you like to eat something?" Lucas asked, unsure what else to say to her.

"I am actually leaving, Mr. Pablo. I have to train myself to maintain these powers and that’s why I am going to Witch University. It might take some time. I will probably be back in a couple of hours or more. Honestly, I was hoping to see your king before leaving, but since he didn’t care about my emotions when manipulating me, I shall not wait for him either. Convey my message to him," Elliana said, and Lucas daringly walked to her.

He stopped a few steps away from their Princess and sighed.

"Princess, I know you are angry at our King, but please give him some time. I promise whatever he is doing is for your good," Lucas cleared his throat before he looked at the room door to ensure no one was coming.

"Actually, King Sebastian asked me to not tell you about this because he was worried you might think wrongly of him, but he stayed true to the words. He used to say that anyone who would see his face without his permission wouldn’t live, right?

Well, that day after Brooklyn saw his face, we had already planned to imprison her for all the sins she committed. She was killed in the prison when you left our King. No one knows how she died, but you and I both know who could be behind it," Lucas said, his words surprising Elliana.

"You mean, she was killed by Mr. Marino’s beast?" Elliana asked to confirm, her gaze shifting to her mother and Nathaniel, who were equally surprised.

If Sebastian killed the girl that made Elliana uncomfortable, why did he hide it for so long?

"As I said, Princess. Our King is not just in love with you. It’s not about our King anymore. It’s about his beast and the devil inside him. They feast on your love, and everything or everyone that comes between them and you shall be eliminated," Lucas said, looking at their princess warily.

He knew he wasn’t supposed to say those words because he did not want to scare the princess, but seeing her misunderstand their king again, he couldn’t help himself.

"Please don’t tell our King I said -"

"Is that the case?" Elliana’s smirk and dark expression stopped Lucas from saying anything further. He looked at the queen and prince to see if they had any better expressions, but it looked like Elliana’s dark expression surprised them too.

"His beast and devil feasts on my love? Isn’t this amazing?" Elliana said before she turned to Nathaniel.

Lucas - "..." Aren’t you too happy? Can you behave like a normal girl for once and act scared? I want to see it.

Lucas sighed.

Their king was uselessly worried about this girl who likes it dark.

"I take back my words. I don’t want to cause havoc anymore," Elliana whispered, making Nathaniel sigh in relief.

"Well that’s great-"

"I want a battle. I want to battle all the teachers in the University," Elliana said, making Nathaniel sigh.

Maybe he got happy a bit too early.

"Elliana, are you sure about it? There are 9th and 10th-grade witches there," Azura asked, looking at her daughter with worry.

"I am positive," Elliana nodded.

"Mr. Marino loves me so much. I must provide him with a stable life from my side at least. I can’t keep swindling him of happiness because of the issues going on in my life.

Besides, my dad has been captured for so long. I want him to come to a happy life and not to a battle zone where his life is at risk all the time. I am tired of living in distress too. This battle will ensure how strong my powers are and how hard I need to train," Elliana explained her point of view.

Azura looked at her daughter, feeling a burning sensation in her heart.

It was true.

After she came to know Elliana was her daughter, she used a year’s worth of magna to look into her daughter’s life and it was full of nothing but misery.

That was also the reason she was kind of grateful to Sebastian.

Though he was the named monster for the world, he at least treated her daughter with respect, care, and love that she didn’t get in her entire life.

"I think Elliana is right. We should do it," Azura whispered, surprising Nathaniel.

"Are you out of your mind? She hasn’t even completely healed and -"

"That’s why it’s the perfect time too," Elliana said, hiding the main reason why she was doing this.
