"About that day, I am sure if you heard that much, you also heard that we were aided by wolves that came -"

"Out of nowhere," Prince Santo completed his sentence, and Lucas furrowed his brows before nodding.

"Yes. If you know about the story, why are you asking me? This is not the time -"

"I don’t know about the story. I am saying what I am seeing," Prince Santo said while looking behind Lucas, who heard the sound of low snarls and growling, and his eyes immediately lit up.

He turned around to look at more than 50 wolves who were standing in front of the rogue vampires, snarling and growling at them, to warn them to not enter the vampire kingdom, and Marcus took a deep breath.

"I don’t know if I should be relieved or worried about what is going to happen next," Prince Marcus whispered, and Lucas looked at the prince.

"Why are they just standing? If they are here to help us, why are they not attacking?" Prince Santo spoke again.

"They are waiting for their leader to arrive," Lucas and Vincenzo said simultaneously.

Stephano looked at Lucas’s happy expression and didn’t know what to think of that.

"For someone whose back is brutally hurt, you look quite happy," Prince Stephano said before he killed another rogue vampire who tried to sneak into the city.

"I am unapologetically happy because my savior is finally here. And as ashamed as I should’ve been, I am happy that she defied our King’s orders to go back to the black skull palace and arrived here," Lucas said.

"Are you talking about the princess Elliana?" Prince Santo asked.

"Who else controls these wolves in the family apart from her? Haven’t you seen the demo at the royal ceremony," Lucas said, looking around frantically to see where she was.

However, he didn’t have to look around too much.

The dark clouds appeared before she could, and the thunderclaps started resounding in the area, making everyone look at the sky before they heard a loud blast.

Boom!

Their gazes shifted to the battlefield of the forest where Sebastian was fighting, everyone holding their breaths as they waited for the dust to settle down.

"F*ck," Prince Santo whispered when they looked at the area that was full of rogue vampires earlier, full of dead bodies now.

"My princess," Lucas looked at the woman with beaming eyes as she moved her hands in her hair.

She ensured to clean herself before coming here, but she definitely wanted to make a dramatic entry.

Turning around, she looked at everyone, her gaze landing on Lucas, who was looking at her excitedly before her gaze shifted to the wolves, who were looking at her expectantly, waiting for her orders.

Sebastian, who had been fighting earlier, stood still when all the vampires who were attacking him were dead on the ground, and his woman was standing in front of him, facing him now.

"Did you miss me?" She asked, her voice deep and full of malice as she kept stepping forward until she was standing right in front of Sebastian, her gaze looking directly into his, making everyone wonder how he would react since they knew he hated dark witches.

"Your eyes look beautiful," Sebastian whispered.

"So does yours. I love the gradient," Elliana said.

Lucas - "..."

Prince Stephano, Santo, Marcus, Vincenzo - "..." They are not for real, are they?

Everyone had the same thought as they looked at the destructing couple who were complimenting each other’s eyes which only indicated evil to others.

"I missed you indeed. But you shouldn’t have come here," Sebastian’s beast said, and Elliana took a deep breath.

"I had to come to protect my women’s team either way. So I thought to stroll around and see how things were going here," Elliana whispered, her eyes going to a lighter shade as she felt much calmer when Sebastian snaked his hand around her waist.

"You made quite a dramatic entry," Sebastian looked behind her, and Elliana smiled.

"What can I say? I am a dark witch. I am supposed to be evil. You liked it?" She asked, amusement dancing in her eyes.

"I love you, so of course, I liked it," Sebastian placed his forehead on hers.

"Umm... Excuse me, the fight is still going on," Lucas said to remind the duo, who smiled at each other through their eyes.

"You owe me a big time after I help you with this," Elliana said, and Sebastian hummed.

"You own me, what else do you want," Sebastian whispered before he extended his hand, grabbing the neck of the rogue who was going to attack them.

He crushed the rogue’s neck bones before letting his dead body fall on the ground.

Elliana stood on her tiptoes and kissed his mask before she turned around and looked at her wolf team.

"I know you guys love shredding vampires. This is an open opportunity for you to do so," Elliana said.

Stephano -"..." Has she lost her mind? What is she saying? He looked at Lucas for translation, wondering if he heard it wrong, but seeing the subordinate’s hopeless expression, he sighed and shook his head. There was no hope for Lucas anymore.

"For every rogue vampire you shred today, I will give you $100. Every cut you will receive depending on the severity will deduct money from your account. This is an open challenge for you to prove your worth to me and be a part of my elite wolf group too. These vampires are going to fight along with you," Elliana raised her hand to create a barrier to stop the rogue vampires from entering until she was done speaking.

"You don’t have to hurt them. Only the rogue vampires. Let’s see how many you can kill without getting hurt. Davis and Jennifer will fight against each other for the position of the leader who will work directly under me. Are you guys ready?!" Elliana raised her voice, and the wolves started howling in unison.

Abramo, who wanted to see what was going on and reached the battlefield with Noah and Giotto, looked at their so-called supposed-to-be-innocent Princess, leading an entire pack of rogue wolves.

"I will be putting a magical chip on you that will count the number of rogues you actually killed alone. It’s the assessment so take it as a serious one," Elliana said, and Lucas nodded at her, amazed with the technique she was using to get the best out of her group.

"What are you waiting for?! Attack!" Elliana removed the barrier, and like hungry lions, the wolves attacked the rogue vampires, even going inside the forests to kill as many rogue vampires as they could.

Elliana turned to her ex-husband and held his hand, looking at the wounds on his hand.

"Did you lose your control?" She asked softly.

"Only once. But I didn’t drink blood. I remembered your words," Sebastian confessed, and Elliana smiled at him.

"So you are going to keep your promises even when I am not your wife?" She asked.

"You will always be my wife, Princess. Even if you don’t agree to my proposal, in my heart I will always belong to you, and you will always belong to me," Sebastian scowled, and Elliana hummed before she raised her hand and removed his mask only halfway so he could stop her if he didn’t like what she was doing, making the Princes gasp at her audacity.

"You are their king. For them to trust you, you need to show them you trust them too," Elliana said, and Sebastian kept looking into her eyes.

"If this mask came off in front of everyone today, I will get to make love to you once we are done here," Sebastian whispered, unashamed of his words, and Elliana’s gaze turned to him, her hands trembling.

She was about to leave the mask there when Sebastian held her hand and removed the mask in front of everyone.

"It means yes," Sebastian smirked.

Elliana - "..."

"But I didn’t -"

"We have a fight to finish, princess," Sebastian bent and pecked her soft lips before breathing her scent that was mixed with blood.

Elliana took a deep shaky breath. The fight was more important rather than talking about other things.

Elliana grabbed the swords in her hand and started fighting with the rest of the princes, matching their speed shoulder to shoulder. Circe tried to maintain her powers and shield around her, but the constant heavy use of powers first with Leila, then at the warehouse, and now with the wolves was starting to take a toll on her witch powers again.

As she twisted her hand to kill another rogue vampire, getting away from the group little by little as she fought, she wasn’t able to keep hold of the other rogues nearing her and one of the rogues raised a wooden stick in his hand before hitting Elliana’s head with it, making her head thump loudly.

"Princess!" Lucas, who saw this, screamed loudly as he saw Elliana swaying in her place before falling to the ground.
