Chapter 450: The wolf Queen

’What’s wrong?’ Circe asked Elliana after they noticed that she wasn’t going back to sleep despite how tired she was.

Elliana turned around and looked at the balcony before sitting straight, placing her hand on her chest as she fisted her dress.

’I don’t know, Circe. Something is wrong. It’s... It feels like something bad is happening somewhere that shouldn’t,’ Elliana said and Circe sighed.

Were her powers subconsciously picking bad vibes again?

After the last incident with black flames and how Elliana let her intrusive thoughts win to finish off Madeline, they have been trying to suppress themselves because they could see why Nathaniel said her unsolicited and uncontrolled power was her enemy.

"Something bad? What could it be? Maybe you are overthinking things -" Circe couldn’t complete their sentence.

Elliana looked at her phone which was vibrating with an incoming call, and for some reason, her heart thumped in her chest when she looked at the caller ID.

She grabbed the phone, biting her lips softly.

"Hello?" Elliana closed her eyes with her heart drumming in her chest wildly.

The first thing she heard was the sound of someone sobbing and it almost felt like someone squeezed her soul.

"It’s over, leader. It’s over. Everything is finished. *sniff*...Jasmine... Nyx... They are murdered. W-we need you,"

It was Jennifer’s voice, and Elliana, who was expecting the worst, closed her eyes.

"I will explain everything to you later. Please believe me. This is really important for me," Elliana whispered before she looked at the text message from Vincenzo.

"A group of vampires burnt the vampire-killing herbs in the moon city and got into a jiffy with some rogue wolves. Were they your people?" The message said.

Elliana squared her jaws.

It looks like she won’t have to work hard to look for the people who did this.

She quickly dialed Vincenzo’s number, who immediately picked it up.

"Prince Vincenzo," Elliana said, and Sebastian looked at the girl, who almost looked like someone he wasn’t able to recognize anymore.

She said she would be revealing her truth in small bits. Was this personality included in that too?

He was surprised at the sudden change. Where was his shy and innocent princess? He wanted her.

Then again, why was he surprised? Didn’t she confess earlier about living under the identity of the girl Glow who used to deal with wolves too?

And why the hell was he feeling so attracted to her?

"It’s them. I think they are the ones who killed my wolf family," Elliana said, getting straight to the point.

"Are you sure about it?" Prince Vincenzo asked.

He wasn’t afraid of getting those bastards back and being answerable to the royal family. They were just some goons hired by the second royal family, but it was because he didn’t want her to get into useless trouble, he wanted to confirm things.

"I will see that when we deal with them," Elliana didn’t hide the hatred she had for them.

Prince Vincenzo sighed.

"Onto it, Madam. I will bring them for you. If you want I will even teach them a lesson for you. All you need to do is sit back, relax, and watch the scene as I take their life one by one in front of you, for you," Prince Vincenzo ended the call, smiling that he was finally doing something for Elliana once again.

Sebastian heard everything. His sensitive vampire hearing helped him hear everything that Vincenzo said even when Elliana had gone near the balcony to talk. And he didn’t like any bit of it.

To say his beast was getting angry would be an understatement. It hurt his ego that his wife had to ask for help from some other man about a thing as small as killing some vampires when he was right in front of her.

He looked at the girl, who ended the call and stood near the balcony before she slid down the wall and placed her band on her face to drown and suppress her sadness.

He didn’t know what happened to the wolves, but it was surely something tragic for her to have this kind of reaction.

He had always known that she had a great relationship with wolves, or why would they come with her when she called and help her save their lives?

"Princess," Sebastian walked to her.

He was tempted to kiss her forehead and take her to bed, pat her back until she fell asleep, but he knew now wasn’t the time for that. Thus, he picked her up in his arms as he used his vampire speed to reach the parking lot.

"Mr. Marino, what are you -?"

"Aren’t you in a hurry to go to the moon city? I don’t know what kind of relationship you have with the wolves and why, and I will surely want to hear it from you once you’ve dealt with this, but baby, I hope you know I am pissed that you can share things like this with Vincenzo but not me. This is the second time," Sebastian said before buckling her seat belt.

Elliana looked at his side profile and felt guilty.

He didn’t even call Ambrose because he didn’t want to waste any more time like the princess wanted.

After driving for thirty minutes at the speed of 150km/hr, they finally reached the side of the moon city where the house was.

However, they didn’t enter the city.

They couldn’t.

The wolves stood at the entrance of the city, glaring and growling at their car and the car that came behind them as they smelt royal vampires.

The rage in their body and eyes was visible.

Elliana turned around to look at another posh car. It was probably Prince Vincenzo’s car that came back with the information.

"They won’t let us go inside," Sebastian said as he noticed his princess wrapping a bandana to hide her face.

It confused him, but he didn’t comment on that. He looked outside again and was about to turn to his princess to tell her he would handle it for her and talk to the wolves when he saw her getting out of the car.

His pupils dilated.

"Princess, it’s dangerous -" Sebastian stopped as she already stepped out and he quickly stepped out of the car.

He was about to walk on her side when he saw her walking toward the wolves who were howling in what sounded like pain.

He watched in amazement how his princess who always had been such a petite and scaredy cat was walking between the wolves. It was enchanting. She looked like a wolf princess at the moment and it made him slightly jealous of the wolves who looked like they already had accepted her as their Queen, but he still was waiting for the crown.
