Chapter 40: Strength

Elliana looked at the boys looking back at her with big wide eyes and closed her fists instinctively, making the water return into the pond with a loud splash, almost drenching her in the process.

The scenario took place in a few seconds but was enough to leave everyone shocked, including Elliana.

"Carl, did you see that?"

"I have my eyes intact. Of course, I saw that,"

"What the hell was that?"

"I don’t know. Maybe there was some kind of turbulence inside the water. Anything is possible when it comes to nature. Now, rather than wasting time, shall we do what we were here for?" The other boy said, not even caring that Elliana was listening to their conversation too.

"So you are the girl that person wanted out of the frame, huh? What did you do? It’s a pity that a beauty like you will turn black and blue and wail in agony in the next few seconds," the boy smiled evilly and looked at her with eyes filled with lust. His gaze raked her body like a predator sizing his prey and observing if it was worth the effort, and this girl was more than worth it.

Madeline told them to beat this girl and render her unable to come to college for an entire month. She never said that bullying should surround beating only.

What use would this body be if they can’t at least touch it? It will be broken and bruised in a few minutes, no? Shouldn’t they at least make good use of it?

With her hooded eyes, Elliana could see how their eyes were roaming from her chest to her long legs before stopping at her face.

It didn’t take a fool to know their intentions, and she pressed her lips into a thin line.

What should she do to get away from them? Her foot was stuck in the wet soil, and the more she tried to get it out in panic, the more strongly it was getting stuck. It looked like loose soil to some extent.

"What do you guys want?" Elliana tried to buy time without looking at them as she wriggled her foot, and the boys smiled at her before they started to step closer.

"What do we want? Isn’t that already clear by now? We want you, sweetheart. You are one of the hot girls in the students’ forum. It says your beauty is exotic and impeccable, and now we want to touch and taste that beauty ourselves," the boys said before they rushed her.

"How can you mansion something atrocious like this? I dare you to come close to me, let alone do anything along the lines of what you are thinking," Elliana gritted her teeth.

"Who sent you? Who wants to hurt me?" She asked, her lower lip trembling, and one of the boys felt pity for the girl.

"Does that matter? What matters is that we will get a good amount of money to beat you black and blue, and when we do that, we will make sure to rip this dress off your body and make you a woman," The boy said, smirking, heavy lust visible in his eyes.

A few seconds passed, and Elliana didn’t say anything before she took a deep breath.

"Why?" Elliana looked at her feet.

"Why do you want to hurt me? I didn’t do anything to you. If it’s about money, I will give you double what that person has offered you," Elliana said, still not meeting their gaze, and the boys chuckled.

"Even if you give us double the money, you will not give us what we want even more than that money. Your innocent, sweet p*ssy is what we need now," the boy said.

He signaled his friend, who nodded at him and started walking towards the girl to get her to their so-called leader.

As soon as the boy with blonde hair extended his hand to touch Elliana’s hand, she lifted her head, looking straight into his eyes, and for the first time, they finally got the chance to look into her eyes. Her eye color was back to normal, but what shocked them was the rage in them.

She raised her leg and kicked the abdomen of that boy so hard that he was sent flying back before his back hit the tree with a thud, and he slid down the tree like a lifeless doll.

The boys looked at their friend, who fell unconscious in a single hit, and then at the girl, looking at her feet.

"Please don’t do this," Elliana whimpered softly, her expression changing back to vulnerability, and they looked at her confused.

What was this girl’s deal? She was acting scared but had such an enormous amount of energy. She looked terrified since she wasn’t even looking at them, but hit their friend so powerfully.

Is she really powerful, or was that just one-time luck?

"Don’t make me look like a bad person," Elliana whispered.

"The nerve of this b*tch!" The best friend of the boy, who got hit, roared in anger before he rushed to Elliana to hit her, but just like earlier, before his hand could even touch her face, she held his hand.

Elliana looked at the guy with a neutral expression, and the sickening sound of his bone breaking echoed in the forest.

"Aaaaaaah!" The boy screamed in agony, making the birds fly as he looked at the girl in fear, who wasn’t even looking at him and standing there unscathed and unfazed as if twisting his hand didn’t exert any energy from her.

After twisting his hand in another direction, making him scream again, Elliana scowled.

She hates it when people objectify her as if she is just a female body with a va*ina they can use for their pleasure.

"So you are not going to be an easy one, hmm?" The boy who had been talking earlier said and walked to her.

"I was never easy, Mr. Just because I pretend to be a good girl in front of people because I don’t want them to come for me doesn’t mean I am easy," Elliana smiled sickeningly sweetly.

On that doomed day when that old hag had torn her clothes with her large group to take advantage of her in the prison, Elliana had promised herself she would never let anyone put her in that situation ever again.

Elliana’s eyes drooped, and her expression changed from sweet to neutral in a second.

She didn’t go to the forest just because she wanted to meet Nath or enjoy some free time with her. Elliana always knew that as she would grow, this bullying would only increase, and she needed to become stronger to take it.

She obviously couldn’t fight back against her stepmom and step-sister because she still needed to meet her biological mom, but she could definitely become strong enough to bear with their wrongdoings.

"Boys, get her," Carl said, and Elliana bent slightly to get into the fighting position.

She looked at her foot which was out of the loose soil, and rolled her eyes. If it hadn’t stuck earlier, she wouldn’t have to go through all this pain.

She calculated their movements and her fighting moves in her mind before nodding at herself.

As soon as the first boy lunged at her, she ducked and kicked him away before bending and kicking the legs of the two other boys in a sweeping motion, making them fall on their butts.

Carl lunged at her from behind and held her hand, and she kicked the boy coming at her from the front and struggled against Carl’s hold. When he didn’t budge, she climbed on the tree before pushing herself back so that they landed in the pond.

When Carl saw her trying to stand, he held her hand and went over her, pushing her face in the water, trying to drown her to weaken her, but Elliana only got more energetic, and she grabbed his neck in a tight fist. It was as if this was her area, and she was the strongest in water.

The pressure exerted by her, even when she was in the water, was three times more than the pressure Carl exerted, and he soon left her face.

His friends looked at the unfathomable girl, fighting like a pro, and stepped back.

"Don’t move!" Elliana’s loud voice shook them to the core as she looked at them angrily.

No one goes unscathed after hurting her. Elliana practically threw Carl into the water before she stood, moving her hand through her now-wet hair.

She tied them in a bun so they wouldn’t hinder her fight and walked to the boys.

Pat! Pat! Pat!

The sound of her wet feet moving on the dry leaves echoed in the area, and she spat the salty water that entered her mouth.

"Who sent you?" She looked them straight in the eyes, and they looked at each other.

"You don’t want to tell the truth?" Elliana was losing her patience now.

"We can’t tell the name. We received a message. The deal was to render you beaten black and blue and break some bones so you won’t be able to move for a month or two. The person wanted you to be in pain rather than dead," The boy who had felt pity for her earlier said, and Elliana noticed the sympathy in his eyes before nodding.

"You shouldn’t associate yourself with such people. You look like a good person. Don’t waste your life because when you will be at the end where you want to reach, there won’t be anything apart from regret left for you," Elliana looked into his eyes.

She was about to go back to that tree to grab her phone that she had placed there before playing with the water so that it didn’t get wet when she heard loud sounds of someone moving behind her.

She looked at the boys in front of her, who were looking behind her, and turned around swiftly.

However, her reaction was too slow. She flinched back, crossing her hands in front of her to lessen the effect.

A few seconds passed, but when she didn’t feel the pain, she opened her eyes only to see one person she least expected to see here.

"Mr. Alcinder?" She widened her eyes, looking at the back of the familiar man shielding her from the attack as he held Carl’s hand.
