The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride
Chapter 324: She misses him too

Chapter 324: She misses him too

"Who are you guys? And why have you been following us?" Lucas asked as the vampires brought him and his prince to what looked like an enclosed space in some abandoned building.

"Shut up and keep moving!" The vampire behind Lucas hissed, jabbing his back with the rifle they were holding, making Lucas stumble forward, and he gritted his teeth.

He was only trying to look for more answers and making things easier for them. If his Prince started asking questions, they wouldn’t be able to answer anything in a nice state.

Lucas turned to his right where his Prince was moving ahead quietly with his hand behind him as the vampires led them to the center of the hall. His Prince looked quite tamed, which was so unlike him.

He didn’t know what was going on inside his Prince’s head right now, and he hated the anonymity of the situation.

"What are you doing? Move properly!" Lucas saw one of the men, hitting the back of his Prince’s back with his rifle and pushing him forward.

His prince didn’t say anything, and surprisingly nor did his powers or aura change.

As much as he wanted to be happy at this moment, he wasn’t. Lucas suppressed the urge to pout and just kept walking until they settled on two chairs.

Sebastian sat there, completely relaxed as his hands were tied to the chair, and he quirked his brows.

"What are you doing here? We know you are one of the princes from the main royal family. So you shouldn’t lie," the vampire said, and Sebastian just tilted his head.

"And what the hell is with this ugly mask -" The man extended his hand to take off his mask when Lucas widened his eyes.

"No!" Lucas shouted.

The vampires immediately looked at Lucas, waiting for him to explain what his extraordinary reaction was all about.

"Don’t take off his mask. If you dared, none of you would be left alive. Seeing his face is a taboo. Have you not heard of him? The youngest masked prince of the royal family, the one who is known -" Lucas paused when Sebastian turned his head to him.

He didn’t utter another word.

"We know who he is. All those nasty rumors spread about him had been nothing but lies. Look at him sitting here like a pussy. Isn’t all that just a cover-up for why the royals don’t keep him to themselves? Because he is the most useless of them all?" The man asked before placing the tip of the rifle under Sebastian’s chin, forcing him to look up.

"Look into his eyes. Look at him glaring like he will eat me any minute," the vampire said.

Lucas thinned his lips - "..." he was looking at you like that because he would really eat you. He wanted to say, but chose against it knowing all too well how easily his prince would become angry with one single mistake.

The word about the youngest vampire prince eating vampire flesh wasn’t too widely spread. Though his killing spree was a matter of concern for everyone, the main information itself was limited to a high group of vampires and their families only.

"What do you want from us?" Lucas asked, and the men finally took a deep breath.

"Information. What the hell were you guys doing here? And why are you so interested in knowing about the smuggling of illegal weapons? If you really think you can take any information out of here, you are greatly mistaken," The man said.

’If you think you can stop the prince from moving from here, you are greatly mistaken,’ Lucas thought but didn’t voice out his thoughts.

"Who sent you? How did you know we were here or even asking for information about smuggling illegal weapons?" Lucas asked the question his Prince wanted to ask.

The men sighed.

"You are quite a talker while he is what? Mute? Last time we checked, all princes could speak. Could it be that he doesn’t want to speak because he got scared?" The man said, and everyone in the room laughed.

Lucas was about to speak again when they heard the sound of a phone vibrating.

"Hey, whose phone is turned on? I told you to -"

"Sir, it belongs to these two," one of the men said, and Lucas immediately looked at his prince.

His eyes were still neutral.

The vampire mob looked at the prince in anticipation. Since his hands were tied, it wasn’t like he could’ve moved anyway.

One of the men walked to the prince and pulled the phone out of his coat pocket.

"The human girl? Who saves a name like this? Is she your sex slave or something? Or your blood bank?" The man asked before he got the receive button and put the phone on the speaker.

Elliana didn’t say anything. She wanted Sebastian to say something.

Sebastian just looked at the phone with a mixture of emotions in his eyes. The sound of her faint breathing reached his head, and it was more than enough for his demons to relax.

"I am busy," Sebastian said in a cold tone, and Elliana who hadn’t expected him to say anything when he didn’t say anything in the start, shook in her place and gasped.

She quickly ended the call, probably taken off-guard, and a small smile spread across Sebastian’s lips.

"So, you fucktard wasn’t speaking for so long but as soon as it’s your whore, you have a mouth? The man asked, making the other vampires snigger at his words, and Lucas closed his eyes.

They keep making mistakes. And calling the princess just now with that name -

*Gasp* a loud gasp echoed in the hall, and everything stilled for a second.

Lucas opened his eyes when he smelt vampire blood, and he gulped at the sight in front of him.

His Prince was sitting on the seat, but his right hand was free of the ropes, and the daggers he had bought earlier were straight into the man’s neck.

"Nobody calls my wife any ugly names and survives," Sebastian said, and Lucas knew all hell broke loose.

Only three minutes and twelve seconds. Only this much time was needed for his Prince to wipe the thirty vampires and sit back on the chair with an evil look in his eyes.

He leaned back in the chair that he was bound to like it was some kind of throne seat, and looked at the second man who had been talking to him because the first one was lying there with a dagger through his throat.

"So, are you going to answer anything my subordinate has been asking?" Sebastian asked, taking off his mask and licking his hands.

"W-why are you taking off your mask? Didn’t you say anyone who sees your face doesn’t get to live?" The man shivered, and Sebastian scoffed darkly.

"And for some reason, you think you guys would survive after mocking my wife?" Sebastian asked.

"Now, make me happy with all the information you have so that I can decide whether to leave you to live or let you bleed a bucket of blood that I will readily drink.

You might have heard plenty of rumors about me, which might be true or not.

But do you know what you did not hear? That I drink and eat vampire blood and heart," Sebastian leaned forward before he plunged out the heart of the nearest vampire on his right side and looked at the man with the deep scarlet-colored organ beating in his hand, scaring the hell out of that man.

Lucas sighed and leaned back in his seat, removing his ropes ever so gently since it was no use hurrying anyway.

His prince would handle everything.

"I... please don’t hurt me. I’ll give you all the information," The man cried in Sebastian’s foot, while Sebastian turned his head and hummed vaguely.

"Start speaking then," Sebastian opened his phone and looked at the photo of his wife, remembering her faint breathing and smiling.

She indeed called him. She cares for him too. His wife misses him too.

Meanwhile, Elliana, who called the prince because Prince Vincenzo said he wasn’t able to reach him, looked at the phone with mixed emotions before she shrugged and threw the phone in the night stand.
