"Have you gotten the information on the men that had attacked?" Sebastian asked, and Lucas nodded meekly.

"Yes, sir. We used the CCTV footage of the nearby area of the forest and found them. They are contract vampires. The one people hire to get their dirty job done," Lucas answered.

"Do you know where we will find them?" Sebastian asked.

"We found the location, sir. We will be there in twenty minutes," Ambrose added, and Lucas glared at him.

Does he not read the room? Their prince was beyond angry. He wasn’t going there to talk. He was going there to wreak havoc on them.

"It’s been a long time since I ate something nutritious anyway," Sebastian whispered to himself, but it was enough to settle the fear in Lucas’s mind.

’Why would you do that? Why would you tell him the location?’ Lucas shouted in Ambrose’s mind space.

’Because I can’t bear the idea that someone hurt such an innocent soul. She makes my prince happy, and it’s more than enough for me to bow down my loyalty to her.

I don’t care what you think or why your blood isn’t boiling at the thought of some vampires pretending to be us and hurting our princess, the one we are supposed to protect, but for me, if sir hadn’t said it, I would’ve gone and killed them and presented their hearts to Prince myself,’ Ambrose said to Lucas through the mind link, and Lucas sighed.

Well, you are not the one cleaning after his mess. Of course, you would say that.

Everyone was at the edge. This was the first time someone dared to pretend to be the royal guards and not just any guards, but the devil’s special force guards. They were bound to face the backlash.

Sebastian closed his eyes, remembering what his princess said, his heart contemplating her words again and again.

Sebastian paused his thoughts. No. What the hell was he thinking? It wasn’t the L emotion. It can’t be. He was falling for her, but it wasn’t a L thing yet. He took a deep breath to control his emotions.

After driving for fifteen more minutes, Ambrose stopped the car in front of the head base that was known to shelter such contract based vampires.

Sebastian entered the den, and the manager who was in a drunk state, rubbed his eyes.

"Hey, who are you? How dare you -" he paused when he looked at the royal mask and emblem.

He immediately fell to his knees.

"Sir, to what honor -"

"We want these six people," Ambrose showed the photo to the manager, and the manager immediately understood something was wrong.

"Leo, go call them," the manager slurred.

Sebastian leaned on the dusty wall, his eyes closed.

The six men were called and brought to the hall. However, as soon as they noticed the man standing in the middle of the lounge, cold sweat appeared on their forehead and they gulped.

They stepped back before they ran in the opposite direction, making Sebastian scoff before he pulled out his cigar and lit it casually.

"Leave us alone. We did nothing. Leave us," one of them shouted as Sebastian’s men started bringing them inside one by one.

"Why are you scared if you did nothing wrong?" Ambrose scoffed, feeling angered just at the sight of them while Lucas stood there, with his head hung low and a container in his hand.

"Do you know who I am?" Sebastian asked as he walked ahead, the men flinching.

"Let’s not waste any more time and come straight to the point. Who hired you?" Sebastian asked before he looked at the manager.

"Empty this place," Sebastian didn’t look at anyone in particular, but everyone knew who he was talking to.

In merely ten seconds everyone was out and Sebastian looked at his men.

"Bring those six chairs here and tie them up on each," Sebastian ordered, and once it was done, the men left immediately

Sebastian, the six men who hurt the princess, and Lucas were the only people present in the lounge.

"Even after a minute, you guys don’t have an answer. You leave me with no choice," Sebastian said.

"Let’s start with little details before going to big ones, okay? Who called my woman a bitch and whore?" Sebastian asked.

"Still no answer," Sebastian nodded before he put on his gloves like always and walked to one of them.

He grabbed his jaws and looked at him straight in the eyes.

"No answer?" He asked again, and when he didn’t answer, Sebastian pressed the man’s jaws so hard that it broke, making his eyes widen as he screamed in pain.

"Aaaa! Aa!" The man screamed, his jaw hanging from his face, his tongue visible, and Lucas suppressed the urge to shut his eyes as he felt like vomiting.

The smell of fear started clouding the lounge as the other five started shivering.

"Once again, who was it?" Sebastian asked, and the man who had called her that, shut his eyes in fear, making Sebastian chuckle.

He walked to him before he grabbed his jaws and pinched his cheeks together to open his mouth forcefully. You were the one, right?"

Sebastian asked and without waiting for his answer, he grabbed his tongue between his thumb and index finger and pulled it out with such force that the man’s entire throat ripped open and he fell to the ground.

No sound came from his mouth anymore. The only sound he made was the flailing of his legs as he struggled in pain before taking his last breath.

"He died? Just like that?" Sebastian kicked the man’s body to turn him around before he bent and pulled his heart out from his chest, throwing it in the container Lucas was holding, making the man sigh as he looked at the beating heart in front of him.

"Why are you guys not saying anything? It’s no fun," Sebastian was complaining, but his cold voice providing death was anything but funny yapping.

He looked at everyone, his eyes shining dark red, and Lucas’s hand trembled slightly at the sight of the man’s tongue still moving slightly even when he died.

"It makes me want to kill all of you, but how will I get my answers? Here is the deal. The one who will tell me the truth will leave in one piece," Sebastian said.

"Who kicked my woman?" Sebastian asked, and one of them immediately moved.

"It’s him, sir. He was the one who kicked her. He even raised his hand on her," one of them pointed to the man in the corner, and Sebastian nodded.

"Good job. Lucas, separate this man from others," Sebastian ordered.

"What are you talking about?! Weren’t you the one who brought this gig to us in the first place? How can you blame me?" They started fighting, and Sebastian looked at him with an understanding.

He walked to the man who had kicked his wife and hurt her so badly and bent to look into his eyes.

"Such a pathetic face, but a pathetic character too. Now tell me, who hired you? You can either tell me, and I’ll let you love or you can end up without a jaw, tongue, or worse - without a heart," Sebastian whispered the last word.

If the menace had a face, even it would bow down in front of Sebastian at the moment. That’s what the man in front of him was thinking.

"Sir, the man who hired us was from the human kingdom. He was the son of the -"

Everyone felt a weird energy in the room.

The man couldn’t complete his words, and Sebastian stepped back with raised brows.

Sebastian looked at the scene in front of him with a straight face, but Lucas, who was already feeling disgusted earlier stepped back when he saw their limbs twisting at the odd angles as the men in front of them screamed in pure pain.

"Aaaaaa!" One of them screamed, his head twisting before it rolled down from his body, his eyes popping out of his head, and Lucas placed his hand on his mouth, feeling weirdly horrified.

This.. what was all this?

"Aaaaaaa!" Another scream came, and the man’s legs were dismembered from his hips, sending him flying in another direction, followed by the hands as his limp body fell to the ground.

"Please save me. I will tell you everything. It was him. The man who hired us was the one we were tor -"

The man couldn’t complete his sentence either because the next thing they knew, his body burst into small pieces, his flesh and blood splashing all across the room. It was almost as if someone had fixed a bomb inside him that blasted terribly.

Lucas shivered in his place as some. blood and flesh splashed on him.

The container fell from his hand when the heart inside it also burst, turning the water full of flesh and blood.

"Sir, what is happening?" Lucas asked, gulping.

Sebastian released a humorless chuckle.

"A witch just got a little angry. A dark witch," Sebastian said before he laughed, surprising Lucas as they saw the other man meeting the same fate as others.

The fifth one started bleeding from all the holes he had in his body before his body melted like molten iron.

"My wife... my Princess... when did she get involved with the dark witches? Why does she keep surprising me?" Sebastian wiped the blood from his face before chuckling.

"You were right, Lucas. My life would never be uninteresting with her around me. She will fucking keep me in complicated mysteries all the time," Sebastian grumbled.

Meanwhile, in the room where Elliana was sleeping peacefully, her powers smiled as they caressed their human heads softly.

"No one touches our daughter and lives," the powers whispered, smiling at what they did to those men, completely unaware that they did it in front of one man, they shouldn’t have.

That they just invited more trouble for their human.
