"We are going on a trip in a week, Princess," Sebastian said while having breakfast, and Elliana raised her head, the bread dangling from her mouth as she blinked at him.

"Trip?" She took a bite of her load. Sebastian glanced at her before slicing his tortilla.

"Hmm. I have a meeting in a country. You are coming with me for two days," Sebastian took another bite of his food, looking at the girl when he didn’t get any response from her.

"Do I get to have a say in the matter?" She finally asked after some seconds.

Sebastian hummed.

"I don’t want to go," Elliana’s words surprised Lucas and Miss Zoya who were standing in the room.

Sebastian placed his cutlery on the table plate before dabbing his lips.

"And can I know the reason for it?" He looked at the girl, his full attention on her now.

"Can we talk alone?" She asked, and he swept his gaze to the caretaker and his subordinates who immediately nodded and left the dining room along with the guards.

"I... I want to stay here and prepare for my exams and the chemical formulae I am preparing for. A competition of the most powerful and enchanting perfumes will be held after a month, and I want to work hard for it," Elliana said, her expression serious and determined.

When I say you are the most beautiful person, I talk about this," Elliana jabbed her finger in his chest, a shy smile spread on her lips, and Sebastian looked into her eyes before smiling.

His smile was even more enchanting.

"Where have you been learning all these flirtatious lines from?" Sebastian asked, cupping her jaws before he trailed his finger down to her neck before he trailed it further down towards her cleavage, stopping right between her breasts.

"This... this is where I’ll stake my claim on you if that happens. This is my favorite place," Sebastian mused, and Elliana scowled, her face red.

"You are a pervert, Mr. Marino," Elliana said.

"And you like every part of it. Even the one you are oh so nicely sitting on," Sebastian smirked, his fangs slightly elongating, and Elliana flushed at his insinuation.

"Fine. You win. But I don’t want to hear of any mischievousness when I am gone. You will focus on studying but will take care of your health too. No more skipping meals," Sebastian said, and Elliana smiled.

"I promise I won’t make you worried. You won’t have to leave your spies on me either. I’ll behave," Elliana said with a beautiful smile, but Sebastian paused in his place.

No more spies?

He remembered Miss Zoya’s words and felt slightly guilty when he looked at her unadulterated expression.

’She probably already knows you spy on her but still chooses to stay loyal to you, and you still want to be suspicious of her?’ Miss Zoya had asked him.

And even after all these times, though he has stopped Blue from spying on her, it doesn’t mean he has started to trust her completely. The mask on his face was a clear indication.

"I should go or I’ll be late," Elliana stood from her place, and this time, he didn’t stop her. His mind was too occupied to stop her.

As Elliana started walking towards the exit of the dining hall, she stopped and turned to him.

"Will you miss me when I’ll be gone?" Elliana asked before she smiled.

"I will be really sad if you won’t," She said before leaving.

Sebastian sat there, frozen in his place.

Will he miss her when she will be gone? Right. He has been becoming so close to her these days that he doesn’t even think about it anymore.

Will he even be able to bear it if she is gone? He gulped before looking at her phone, the ping of a message, making him narrow his brows.

He didn’t want to peek. It was an invasion of privacy, but then again, did he ever give her any privacy from the beginning?

She was his possession anyway.

[Elliana, can we talk today? I would like to formally apologize. Please, don’t say no. I have understood it. I am sorry for not realizing how real your love was all those times. Don’t worry. I will save you from that monster. We will be together just like how you always wanted.] The message said.

And Sebastian raised his brows.

Another message popped up, and Sebastian suppressed the urge to grab the phone and squeeze it until no part of it was intact.

His ears perked when he heard some shuffling and he quickly put the phone away, sitting there like he was only focussed on his eating.

"I forgot my phone," Elliana smiled, and Sebastian suddenly held her hand and pulled her up, making her sit on the dining table before he kissed her senselessly.

He kissed her aggressively, taking her by surprise. His lips moved so fast that she couldn’t even match half of his tempo.

The kiss ended as quickly as it started, and Elliana looked at him shocked.

"I would do more than just miss you. Probably tie you to my bed and fill you with my juices," Sebastian mumbled against her lips.

"Mr. Marino, what are you -"

"Don’t act like it won’t happen, Princess. You should know that I am barely hanging there. So you should mentally prepare yourself for it," Sebastian whispered.

"Now, leave," he said, and Elliana nodded before leaving, dazed.

Sebastian closed his eyes. He almost lost control.

He sighed and quickly dialed his man’s number.

Taking out his anger on the princess won’t help. He needs to deal with this pest himself.

"I am sending you the name and details of a person. You know what to do," Sebastian said before ending the call.

He will pursue her? Let’s see if he will be left in a condition to pursue anyone after this. Sebastian smirked at the thought.

It will be like hitting two birds with one stone. It will also work as a warning to those human groups who are thinking about attacking the vampires once again.
