The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride
Chapter 270: Please teach me too

Chapter 270: Please teach me too

No one moved. No one went and helped Prince Marcus stand either. They left him lying in the mud with cuts all over his body because their shock was even greater than that.

Elliana closed her eyes. She realized her mistake. With a deep breath, she looked at Mr. Marino, ready to come clean when she felt it. The presence of her savior.

Her serious face immediately turned into an innocent one as she blinked at Sebastian.

"Are you okay, Mr. Marino?" She asked with raised brows, and Sebastian sat straight. He closed his eyes, concentrating his vampire powers on his body, and just like that, within a second all his wounds healed, surprising Elliana.

It was indeed a trap? Sebastian opened his eyes and looked straight into Elliana’s shocked eyes with a smirk lurking on his face.

"Caught you, princess," He whispered, and he was about to grab her neck and pin her to the wall because she wasn’t just a good fighter but something that he hadn’t thought about.

However, before he could move a muscle, his vampire senses picked up on the witch lurking around, and he narrowed his brows.

Wait. What?

He looked behind Elliana where a smug-looking Nathaniel was standing with his arms crossed against his chest.

Sebastian stood, pulling Elliana with himself. He looked at the damage done and his brother Marcus, who was now standing and scowling hard.

"Prince Nathaniel," Sebastian said, but Nathaniel’s gaze was focused on Elliana, who looked down in shame.

She knew she was at fault, and once again, Nathaniel had to come to save her. She felt guilty, but more than that she was happy.

Her mind immediately started working on all the excuses she would give Nathaniel about why she risked it all and committed this stupidity.

A smile formed on her lips, and Nathaniel who knew exactly what might be going on inside this naughty girl’s head, rolled his eyes inwardly.

"Prince Sebastian, I heard that you married a human. I was quite worried about how you might be treating her, but seeing how she was about to be sliced into two pieces, I don’t think you are exactly treating her nicely. What if I wasn’t here in time?" Nathaniel took all the blame of her powers on himself.

Sebastian looked at the girl who was holding his hand while hiding behind his body as she peeked at Nathaniel as if afraid of him.

Did he really misjudge her? He was sure he would be able to stop Marcus at the last minute. He had it all planned, and his hand was already on his sword to defend her if she didn’t do anything, but was he really putting her life in danger over some doubt he had?

This stupid girl didn’t even flinch before coming in front of the sword to protect him.

"Come here," Nathaniel said, and Elliana glared at him, making Nathaniel smirk.

"Princess, I won’t repeat my words," Nathaniel extended his hand, and to everyone’s surprise, she started walking to him.

Sebastian squared his jaws when Elliana left his hand and walked to this witch prince.

"Are you hurt?" Nathaniel asked, and he was about to hold her hand when in a split second, Sebastian grabbed Elliana’s hand and pulled her behind his body.

"Whether she is hurt or not, I’ll see to it. Can you explain why you came to the vampire kingdom and the palace without informing?" Sebastian’s voice was hard, and Nathaniel whose hands clenched when Sebastian pulled Elliana away from him, stared at the vampire prince.

No one has dared to take Elliana’s hand away from him, not even Arizona. Nathaniel looked at the girl, his heart skipping a beat when he noticed the look in her eyes.

She was pleading with him to not do anything or become angry? How could he not? She might not know that she is his fiance, but...

Nathaniel took a deep breath, flexing his fingers before looking at Elliana again and then at Sebastian.

Just two months... once this bastard gets the throne, he will leave Elliana. Only till then, he needs to bear it. Nathaniel nodded to himself before he stepped ahead and held Elliana’s hand forcefully.

"Prince Nathaniel!" All the brothers immediately appeared near Nathaniel with their swords pointed to his neck.

The princes glared at Nathaniel who was smiling carelessly.

Elliana trembled at all the princes, and for a moment, she felt like standing in front of Nathaniel to protect him.

The smile on Nathaniel’s face froze, but it wasn’t because the princes were pointing their swords at him, but because of what he felt when he touched Elliana. The dark energy, the dark sinister energy that -

She has killed people in these three days? But how many? And why was the first lock of her powers undone? Nathaniel looked at the girl.

No. He glared at her, and Elliana looked down at her feet, feeling caught.

Right now wasn’t the time to react. He will have to talk to her later when she is calmed. Her emotions are all over the place right now.

"I am just ensuring she is safe. Stop acting like you really cared about her life when you were standing at the sidelines watching her getting killed," Nathaniel said before he let go of her hand.

"You still haven’t answered my question. What are you doing here?" Sebastian asked again.

"I am here to interrogate you on behalf of Gertrude. She is under my custody, but as a witch, it’s my duty to interrogate the person when someone has killed a witch. I am sure you know what I am talking about," Nathaniel looked at Sebastian, and the latter nodded.

Of course, how can he forget? That witch who was pretending to be a vampire and had dared to touch his possession and take Elliana’s attention when she was acting so possessive of him for the first time.

Sebastian nodded.

"Let’s talk about it," Sebastian started walking, and Nathaniel glared at Elliana one last time before following him towards the forest, just a few hundred meters away from the field.

Elliana sighed. It was a close call.

"Are you really okay?" Vincenzo stepped ahead and was about to cup her cheeks when he remembered he was in front of everyone, and he just ruffled her hair.

"I am okay,"

Elliana looked at Prince Marcus.

"You are really amazing," She smiled.

"Me?" He asked, surprised.

"Yes. I always thought that Mr. Marino was the strongest, but you look like you are the best swordsman here. Can you teach me too? I want to be able to defend myself when I am faced with a sword. I want to learn from the best," Elliana smiled at Marcus with the most innocent expression she could muster.

He looked into her eyes before looking at Stephano, who was also looking at her.

"I can teach you -"

Vincenzo started, but Elliana glared at him, making him stop.

"Please, Prince Marcus. Teach me some skills. At least until Mr. Marino is busy," Elliana pleaded and blinked her eyes more.

"Ummm... yeah... okay. You don’t have to plead. It’s nothing. Just take the sword that you are able to lift and handle," He scratched his forehead, a bit confused, but Stephano just smiled at his brother’s stupidity.

He walked back to the sidelines where a servant brought some herbal tea for him.

He grabbed the cup and looked at the princess who just grabbed and random sword without testing anything before she dropped it as if she didn’t know how to hold it properly.

"Come here. Let me teach you how to hold it first. Here, grab this part like this. Since you are only starting, keep your hands in this position so that you don’t put all the tension on your wrist," Marcus held her hand, feeling a weird energy flow inside him, and he looked at her amazed, enchanted with her beauty.

Elliana looked into his eyes, her work was done. She smiled inwardly.

"Let’s start sparing?" She asked, and he nodded dazed.

"Hit me," Marcus said, and she grinned inwardly.

"I don’t know how to land a heavy blow, but I am a dancer. I will be using some tricks, you can stop me with your vampire skills, right?" Elliana asked, and Marcus nodded with a confident smile.

"Give me your best," he smiled.

That’s one line he shouldn’t have said.

"I am starting," she said.

"Hahaha, why are you so afraid? Just do it. I’ll handle it all," Marcus chuckled, and Elliana smiled.

"I bet you will. You are so awesome," Elliana turned around, the smile on her face immediately dropping, her eyes blazing as she remembered how he had swung his sword at Mr. Marino.
