Chapter 263: A little revenge (Part-1)
Last night ~~~~~
Elliana couldn’t control her powers. No matter how much she tried to let go of the feelings and erase those words from her mind, she couldn’t.
She twisted in her bed, her form shivering as she felt something hot running through her veins. It was her powers asking her to avenge her humiliation, but more than that, it was her care for the man she liked so much that she wanted to avenge.
She thought about all the reasons she shouldn’t be doing it, and she found many. Starting from the risk of getting caught by the royals or getting hurt in return to Mr. Marino leaving her.
However, there was one reason that overpowered everything and was more than enough for her to do it. That reason was - that Elliana promised herself to punish everyone and just anyone who would sin towards her man until she was with him.
With that thought in mind, she walked to the wardrobe of the room where neatly folded handkerchiefs were.
’Do you really think a man who couldn’t do anything when I got his mother killed will be able to do anything to me?’ The prince’s words echoed in her head as she walked outside her room.
She didn’t know to what level her powers were going to work today, but she would never know until she tried it, right? Elliana looked up towards the CCTV camera, smiling cunningly when the camera burst without making any noise.
She started walking to the regions where she knew the princes of the second royal family would be. Elliana spent the entire 30 minutes rewinding her memory and thinking about where she saw that prince, and she finally knew.
He was a beast, he said. Elliana smiled, padding her way towards the East wings.
Luck was on her side tonight. As soon as she circled the corridor to see which room the prince was staying in, she heard some noise from downstairs, and she walked to the window, her gaze darkening when she saw the so-called Prince talking to someone over the phone.
She jumped down from the window of the first floor when she saw him walking towards the forest.
It was perfect for her. The farther he moved from the royal palace, the easier it would be to hurt him without anyone knowing about it.
She looked around to ensure no one noticed her as she followed the prince.
Once she thought she was at a good enough distance and didn’t feel anyone’s presence apart from the prince, she finally called him.
"Prince Harry," She said in her soft voice, smiling at him sweetly.
Prince Harry didn’t expect to see Elliana. It showed on his face.
"You, what are you doing here? Wait. So you knew my name all along and were pretending to not know me? Isn’t that a bit naughty of you, princess? Or did you like how I was roughening you up?" Harry smirked with his usual coyness, unaware of the thoughts brewing in the head of the so-called innocent princess, who he thought wouldn’t even be able to hurt a fly.
"I am here to clear a few things," Elliana said.
"Discuss something?" The prince asked. The smirk on his face made her scoff inwardly.
"No, not discuss. I am here to clarify a few things. You were right. I trusted Mr. Marino a bit too much. How could I expect a person to protect me when he couldn’t protect his mother? I was falling for him because I was under the delusion that he was the strongest," Elliana said.
"And now is your delusion gone and -" The prince couldn’t complete his sentence as Elliana started speaking again.
"I was wrong to think that it was a delusion. If a person who hates him and wants him dead has to create an army of rogue vampires to kill and hurt my husband, doesn’t my husband already win the competition?" Elliana asked.
Prince Harry’s eyes turned scarlet red.
"What is this? Has the little girl, crying in the room, gotten some energy and courage just because she got out of that situation without being harmed? If you have forgotten about what I can do, let me remind you once again," Prince Harry appeared right in front of her, grabbing her neck in a tight grip, and Elliana smiled.
Her smiles turned into chuckles before she started laughing, her eyes turning a shade darker, making Prince Harry’s pupils dilated.
Wait. Did he see just now- Was it because of the darkness of the forest or did her eyes -
"You see, Prince Harry, I am a good girl. But this good girl got a bit angry when you talked shit about her husband. Guess what? Recently, she got a bit lucky, and now she has some powers, the powers that she wants to hide from the world and doesn’t want anyone to know," Elliana placed her hand on Prince Harry’s hand that was grabbing her neck before removing it.
"Now you must be wondering why am I telling you all this, right?" She asked, licking her bottom lip.
"It’s because you are not going to stay alive for long to tell the tales," Elliana tilted her head and whispered, making Harry chuckle.
"If you think you can kill me for real, there isn’t a fool bigger than you -" Prince Harry started.
Elliana placed her finger on her lips and shushed him.
"You should know to read the room, Prince Harry. What made you think I would come here to confront you if I am not confident? Do you think I am some movie’s heroine who is stupid enough to confront people without a weapon? It was stupid enough of you to think I was the protagonist here, Prince Harry," Elliana let go of his hand and stepped back.
"I am the villain of this story. The story which should be named - A pathetic vampire who called himself a beast," Elliana giggled.
"You bitch! You are crossing your limits!" Prince Harry snarled at her, feeling insulted.
She was just a human to him. How dare she insult him just like that? He knew this girl was bluffing. If she really had some kind of powers, he would’ve felt them when he grabbed her neck. She wouldn’t have been shivering in fear if she was really that powerful.
"Wrong word, Prince Harry. Anyway, I am not here to uselessly argue with you. I am going to ask you a few questions, and I want honest answers to them," Elliana turned around and started walking in the opposite direction to create some distance between them.
However, Prince Harry, who thought she was trying to run away after insulting him like that, rushed to her and grabbed a fistful of her hair before he slammed her onto the tree.
"It looks like I was too lenient with you, bitch. Let me show you what a beast is. I will show you how to respect a -" Prince Harry started. However, the rest of his words stuck in his mouth when he looked at the horror in front of him.
The girl, who was supposed to be a normal human with amber eyes, was now looking back at him with pitch-black eyes, smiling evilly at him.
"You wanted to show me something?" Elliana raised her hand, cupping his cheeks, her touch almost appearing like someone poured hot lava on his face, and he screamed, backing away from her.
He screamed so loudly that the entire royal kingdom would’ve heard him, but to his horror, no sound came out of his mouth. He looked at the girl in terror and shock, who was smiling at him innocently.
"What happened, Prince Harry? Cat got your tongue?" She grinned, standing there with her hands folded behind her back as she walked around him like she was inspecting him from head to toe.
"You just called me a bitch, and I took your voice away. Now imagine what I am going to do to you now that I know you were the one sending rogue vampires towards my Mr Marino," Elliana whispered into his ears, making him shiver.
He backed away from her, running in the opposite direction of the royal kingdom, one of the biggest mistakes he made today after threatening Elliana and telling her the truth.
