Chapter 236: Mr. Marino in the same place as them? Trouble

"Who the hell are you?!" The man asked as he grabbed her hands to stop her from moving.

Elliana looked at Natasha, who was looking back at her with wide, big eyes, fear visible in the girl’s eyes as she noticed how angry and dangerous Miss Elliana looked.

"It doesn’t matter who I am. What should matter to you is that I am here to take this girl back with me, and no one can stop me from doing it," Elliana brought out her dagger and hit the man’s head with the blunt wooden side of the weapon.

Using the moment of his shock and surprise, she kicked him away, making him stumble back a few steps as she looked around to find something to get an upper hand on the fight without hurting this man too much.

"You!" The man touched his forehead, growling at her when he felt blood drizzling out of his head.

"Yes, me, I will take this girl away," Elliana took a deep breath.

"Look, the only reason, I am not using this sharp dagger and plunging it into your chest is because I respect your Prince a bit too much. I don’t want to see him in distress by seeing his men dead like this. So you better not make things hard for me," Elliana said before she rushed to the balcony and pulled the thin curtains down.

"You might not want to hurt me because you respect our prince, but I can surely hurt you because you are someone who disrespected him by stealing those boys," the man said before pulling out the dagger from his pocket, making Natasha widen her eyes.

"Mmmmmm!!" Natasha screamed in horror and fear for her leader.

The man looked at the girl in front of him with narrowed eyes. He didn’t know what to say or think about her.

Though she was just a petite girl, her attacks were quite powerful, and as shameful and embarrassing as it was, she was dominating him.

It was hard to decipher which species this girl really belonged to. Her smell was completely different. It was as if she had erased her species’ scent and changed it with this weird lavender that is also sensible when he stands very close to her.

Her eyes were amber, but they were shining a weird black and brown from time to time. Some would guess that she was probably a shapeshifter, but the way her hands were moving, she was definitely not any of those shifters.

One thing was for sure. Whoever this girl was, she had great knowledge and access to the black market, judging from how she had the latest scent-neutralizing drug that wasn’t even available to them. The man thought as he took in as much information about her as he could.

What he was unaware of was the fact that the girl standing in front of him was the mind behind those scents changing, neutralizing, and vanishing drugs.

The man stepped closer to her, raising his hand that was grabbing the knife. However, rather than hitting Elliana with the dagger, like she was anticipating and already thinking of ways to tackle, he used his vampire powers at her.

A mistake he shouldn’t have made, and a situation that Elliana wasn’t prepared for.

As soon as the man appeared behind her and tried to put her in a headlock, Elliana, who was caught off-guard, turned around hastily and placed her hands on his chest, pushing him away.

’When you are stressed or distressed, never flatten your hand on anyone or in anyone’s direction because the powers, who are always in the alert mode, sense their owner’s distress and go into the protective mode,’ Elliana remembered Yaretzi’s words, but it was too late now.

As soon as she pushed the man away, her powers sensed the shock of their owner, aka Elliana, and immediately collected in the middle of her hands. It was just a little push Elliana intended to do so that she could have enough space between them for her to be able to react and counterattack.

However, the force of her powers was so strong that the man was pushed out of the balcony, and practically thrown away as he landed a few meters from the building.

The sickening and shocking sound of the glass breaking echoed in the surroundings, making Elliana widen her eyes in shock.

Alcinder, who was waiting for Elliana to come down, looked at the man who landed a few meters away from him on the other side of the wall, his eyes wide with shock.

This can only be possible by another vampire pushing him away. Does that mean there are more vampires up there? If that’s the case, then what about Elliana? What if she is caught or something? Alcinder climbed the pipes quickly and noticed Elliana untying the hands of the girl hastily.

There was no other vampire in the room. Alcinder licked his lower lip, deep in thought.

"Come on!" Elliana growled in anger, and Natasha whimpered, her fear clearly visible to Alcinder, who narrowed his eyes.

The girl Elliana was here to save was actually afraid of her. Why?

Meanwhile, downstairs, the men who had gone behind Marcello, immediately heard that the prince was going to be here, and they started returning.

They waited at the entrance of the building to greet their prince and show him their respect.

However, the sound of the glass breaking, completely caught them off-guard.

"Hey! What was that sound?!" They heard someone yell, and Alcinder took a deep breath.

"Leave it!" Alcinder jerked the armrest of the chair, breaking them as he bent and pulled the girl in his arms.

"Let’s go, or we will be caught," Alcinder shouted before he jumped down from the window, and Elliana gulped before sliding down the pipes before she jumped over the wall, trying her best to keep up with Alcinder.

As she was walking to the car quickly, her gaze met with Marcello, who nodded at her and signalled to her where they were thinking of meeting.

Elliana nodded her head in understanding as she rushed to Alcinder’s car.

Thud! The sound of the car’s door closing echoed in the chaotic environment, and Elliana’s eyes widened. It wasn’t her who closed the door.

It was Mr Marino who exited the car and closed the door.

Damn it! She cursed inside her head.

"Quickly!" She shouted at Alcinder, who immediately reversed his car.

Her heart was almost in her mouth when she saw Mr. Marino. She closed her eyes and took deep breaths to control her ragged breathing.

Alcinder was no better today. Never in his life had he backed and driven his car away from somewhere as fast as he did today. Though he was also a vampire whose heart was much slower than humans, even his heart was pounding terribly when he saw the devil exiting the car.

Everything was confusing to him.

They were indeed in a rush when they were running towards the car, but it didn’t mean he didn’t see the black skull emblem on that man’s uniform.

Was it really something Elliana has done? Could it be that she offended the prince? Or was it that she took some kind of revenge on him for what he did yesterday in the canteen?

He swears he has never met a mysterious person greater than the one sitting beside him, who looks nothing more than an innocent petite human.

He looked at the girl in the backseat, who had untied her hands now and sighed.

This mute girl was clearly a vampire. Why the hell did a vampire girl feel the need to ask a human for help in the first place? What was the truth behind everything? He shook his head. The more he thought about everything, the more confused he became.
