Elliana leaned on the wall, taking deep breaths to calm her raging emotions.

Even she hadn’t expected the kinds of answers she gave to Madeline today. This wasn’t the first time she threatened her, but this was definitely the first time she used such kind of bandit language.

She needed to calm down. Her heart was in a mess.

Though she acted and pretended to be strong, she couldn’t help but think of the time when Mr Marino would indeed leave her after getting the throne.

"Were you eavesdropping on me, Mr. Daniel?" Elliana took a step forward, and Daniel smiled.

Anyway, you will be late for class. You should go," Daniel smiled.

Elliana could see that her words had hurt Daniel, and she sighed before grabbing his hand.

"I can leave a lecture but not an angry or hurt friend. You are right. She is the one who bullied me all my life. It’s not exactly because of the council head’s son, but yeah, he plays a major part in it. Regarding why her knickers are always twisted when she sees me, it’s because her father had an extramarital affair with my mother, but then it was exposed, and things ended but on really complicated terms. I am sure you know how complicated royal scandals are," Elliana answered, manipulating some of the truth.

"Hey, you don’t have to tell me everything at once and -" Daniel started, but Elliana shrugged.

"It doesn’t matter or hurt me. Sometimes, kids have to suffer for what their parents do, and that’s exactly what is happening to me. I blame my mother too. It feels nice telling someone about it. So don’t feel bad about it. I’ll attend the lecture now," Elliana smiled before she entered her class.

It looks like she has to reveal and manipulate the truth for not only one but three people now. And not only that, she will have to remember what kind of truth she has revealed to the three of them. Elliana groaned in annoyance as she sat in the front row rather than going in the back row where Melony and Dexter were waiting for her.

Meanwhile, in the dungeons of his royal palace, two levels down, Sebastian sat in front of Maze, looking him up and down.

"Please leave me. I can’t take this anymore. Please," Maze groaned in pain and agony, trying to kick his legs and hands to free himself as he struggled on the tied chair.

"You can’t take it anymore? Why? How can you be so mean? I arrived not long ago and haven’t even started properly," Sebastian said in his dangerously low and maniacal voice as he stood from his place and took the dagger from the table before slicing Maze’s chest.

"Aaaahhh," Maze screamed in pain when the dagger plunged deeper, and Sebastian looked at the blood dripping on the ground before tilting his head.

"If you think you have taken enough pain, how about spilling the beans now?" Sebastian walked back to the table as he roamed his hands on different types of torture weapons he had arranged for his fun. However, nothing seemed appealing to him.

"You were so smug when you were mocking me that I am so unfortunate I don’t even know who is conspiring against me," Sebastian smiled before he looked at Ambrose, who immediately nodded and left the room.

"So take my miseries away. Help me and tell me who among the royals knew about you guys, or should I say, who among the royals is helping you," Sebastian grabbed Maze’s jaws before turning his head left and right.

He turned to the doctors, who were shivering in their places because of what they were seeing and how cruel their masked prince was.

"It’s such a pity that the lie detector machine isn’t responding and working well with these synthetic vampires. Now we’ll have to do things the hard way," Sebastian said before he nodded at the doctors.

Maze looked at the doctors, who started walking towards him with the same headband in their hands. He shook his head in denial, shaking his body violently. Fear was evident in his eyes.

"No... No.. please don’t do it. No more electric shocks, please. Please, I beg you," Tears rolled down Maze’s cheeks as he struggled in his chair, trying his best to free his hands and legs.

"You don’t want to go through the electric shocks? Okay. Let’s not do that. Let’s try something new this time," Sebastian smiled, his evil smile promising nothing good.

"I promise you will feel it in your body like you have never felt before," Sebastian looked towards the door.

Ambrose walked inside the room with a container in his hand, and Sebastian’s eyes immediately beamed with an evil glint.

"I haven’t tested this method on a vampire before. How lucky you are to be chosen for this legendary test, no?" Sebastian stood from his place and wore the latex gloves before picking a dagger.

He opened the jar ever so slowly, building the fear, and placed the dagger inside.

Everyone looked at the prince in anticipation of what he was thinking of doing. What was inside the jar that was exciting their prince so much? However, Ambrose, who already knew what the prince had asked for, gulped and looked around to save himself from what was about to happen next.

"Look, I don’t want to do it either. Believe me. I don’t even know how much it will hurt. If it will be a short process or a long one, but since you are not telling me the truth about who it was, you leave me with no choice," Sebastian said before he pulled the dagger out, and everyone gasped at the sight.
