Chapter 213: The mysterious girl

"Lucas!" Sebastian shouted as more rogues jumped over him, and he was unable to rush to his subordinate to save him from all the rogue vampires who jumped onto him.

Everyone shouted in agony as they were unable to move towards Lucas, who was pinned on the ground now.

"Lucas, don’t lose hope!" Skylar snarled as a rogue bit in his hand, and he threw the rogue away from himself.

Maze looked at Sebastian’s men getting hurt and chuckled.

"I know I can’t hurt you, Youngest Prince. You are way beyond my league. But won’t it be like an attack on my pride if I won’t be able to hurt this man who has been pretending to be the prince either? No. I have to do at least a little bit of damage," Maze backed away as Sebastian fought the rogues, snarling and growling to get to his men and save him.

Lucas looked into the eyes of the rogue vampires and pushed them away as hard as he could. He plunged out the heart of the rogue who was about to sink his teeth in his neck before kicking another rogue away.

"Aaaaa!" The sound of Harry moaning in pain and wailing echoed, and Sebastian looked towards him as he saw a rogue vampire attacking Harry from behind and sinking his teeth into Harry’s shoulders.

"Harry!" Sebastian’s men shouted.

Sebastian looked at Harry, who was writhing in pain and his eyes turned cold.

"Stop this nonsense rogue vampire or I swear I’ll make your death a thousand times worse than your brother’s," Sebastian growled as he kept fighting the rogues who were emerging from God knows where.

Lucas was fighting. But anyone could see he was barely making it as they all fought their own battles.

Harry pushed the rogue vampire away from him, placing his hand on his shoulder as he tried to stop the bleeding.

"Lucas, Harry, Skylar keep fighting. We can’t become our leader’s weakness!" Garry shouted as more of their men started to get attacked by the rogue vampires who were sneaking at them from behind the bushes or trees.

Lucas couldn’t fight anymore. He looked at his boss who was trying his best to save as many people as he could from this tyranny of rogue vampires.

It looks like this was it for him. Everything seemed blurry to him.

His body was beaten black and blue brutally, and he looked into the rogue vampire’s eyes who pulled the rogues who were punching him with a smirk.

"Let me feed on him first," the new rogue vampire said, and Lucas gulped, not being able to fight anymore as the other rogue vampires pinned his hands and legs to the ground, rendering him unable to move.

He closed his eyes, accepting his fate when Garry rushed to him to save him even when his wounded body was limiting his ability.

Garry tried to limp towards Lucas when suddenly he was pushed back.

Slash!

The sound of flesh cutting echoed in the environment.

No. It wasn’t just flesh cutting.

Lucas opened his eyes when the rogue vampire fell on top of him. A sword was passing through the rogue vampire’s head. making blood drops trail on Lucas’s body.

"gghgg," the other rogue choked on his own blood when the other sword went straight into his throat.

Everyone froze in their places.

"This..." Garry stopped as he saw a girl standing above Lucas in a fighting stance, looking so enchanting, her long brown hair flailing in the air magically.

She moved her sword again and plunged it into another rogue’s chest, her confidence and the angry vibes she was oozing, making even Sebastian’s men wary of her.

Her body was covered from head to toe in a black outfit. She was wearing long gloves and her face was also covered with a black cat mask.

The only thing visible was her brown hair that the girl had put in double ponies, her ponies reaching mid-thighs.

"Now who the fuck are you?" Maze roared, angry that his plan was falling apart, and he wasn’t able to hurt Lucas.

She didn’t speak. She pointed at herself with her finger before shrugging as if saying she herself didn’t know who she was.

The girl was wearing black shades so no one could even look into her eyes. She didn’t want to leave any means of recognition.

She snickered softly before placing her swords on the ground and clapping her hands weirdly.

Everyone looked at the girl, unsure of who she was and what was she doing.

Gggrrrrrr! Gggrrrrr!

They heard collective sounds and everyone looked towards the forest as golden amber blazing eyes started looking back at them like predators.

The girl stopped clapping and picked her swords again.

She pointed her sword outwards towards where the majority of those predators were before she looked into the sky.

She lifted her sword in the air before swinging it down with such pressure that everyone felt the vibration when the sword hit the ground.

The angry and hungry wolves rushed out of the bushes, and Sebastian, who was ready to fight another batch of different species of enemies was surprised when he noticed that the wolves were only attacking the rogue vampires.

"Aaaaaahhh!"

"Ahhhh!"

The screams of the rogue vampires became louder than before as the wolves showed no mercy. They shredded their bodies into pieces, roaring hungrily.

Everything was confusing to everyone.

Who was this girl? Why was she helping them? How the hell did she bring these wolves here? And why were these wolves, who have always hated vampires, helping them in beating the rogue vampires?

The girl smelt like a human. It was a distinct smell. The smell of mud and sunflowers, but she smelt human to Sebastian. A weird familiar scent.

He looked at the girl dressed in black from head to toe before he looked at her fighting stance.

Like a true warrior, she was holding her swords as she started slashing and cutting people mercilessly.

Nor once did the girl look at him. Her whole concentration was on killing the rogue vampires and protecting his men. Does she not recognize that he is the leader here? Only a human can’t sense this kind of power.

But then again, what if she was deliberately ignoring him because she didn’t want him to recognize her? Sebastian thought as he saw the girl fighting.

Though her fighting stance was good, she didn’t look too powerful or trained.

Sebastian kept fighting the rogue vampires and was about to rush to Lucas to ensure he was okay when he saw the girl stabbing the rogue vampire right above Lucas.

It almost looked like she was here to protect Lucas only.

Does that mean this girl is a lover of Lucas or something? But she smells weirdly familiar. Has he met her before?

All the questions ran inside Sebastian’s head, but right now fighting these rogues who were attacking his men was more important.
