The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride -
Chapter 211: Don’t provoke the devil
Chapter 211: Don’t provoke the devil
"What are you waiting for? Come at me. Or do you need some kind of invitation? I can do that for you," Sebastian picked two swords from the ground and moved his neck circularly, cracking the bones in his neck to ease his stress in the neck.
He moved the sword in his right hand and wrote a sentence inside the pool of the rogue’s blood he killed earlier.
The two-word sentence was loud and clear, and Sebastian didn’t think anything else was needed to provoke the rogue vampires.
"Fuck you!" The sentence said, and Sebastian smiled, looking up, trying to catch any rogue’s eyes, but no one dared to look at him, afraid of what he would do.
No one dared, but one among them started walking ahead, clapping his hands.
"Does that mean that this was a faux plan? What a plan, I must say," Javin clapped his hands as he walked to the prince, joking about the matter, trying to act confident.
Lucas closed his eyes. Even if they were rogue vampires, he had expected them to be a little conscious of what was happening around them and show a bit of intelligence to know not to mess with the devil himself.
Maybe he expected too much. He suppressed the urge to scoff.
"Why did a prince need to lie about his identity? I mean, what could be the reason? Was he afraid that we would really kill him?" Javin asked, looking at his men, who started laughing awkwardly, trying to mask their fear behind their smiles.
Sebastian suppressed the urge to laugh in their face as he looked at their expressions.
"I bet he wanted to hide in his mother’s womb with this amount of fear," Maze commented.
’He just didn’t bring the prince’s mother into this,’ Lucas looked at his boss, who was smiling.
He was smiling, but his eyes were only becoming pitch black.
Snap!
Something snapped inside Sebastian when he heard Maze mentioning his mother. It was like a string that was holding him back from releasing half of his potential. He knew he couldn’t release his full potential and bring havoc to this vampire kingdom. Not when the throne ceremony was nearing.
He picked up his sword and tightened his hand around the handle before looking at those rogue men from under his lashes.
"No matter what happens, no one will look at the Prince’s face! It’s an order, and anyone who doesn’t agree to it will die today," Lucas ordered their men, who immediately averted their gaze from the prince’s face to his body and hands.
The indication was clear. The devil was going to reveal himself.
’It was just the devil and not his beast devil form. Yet my insides were already shivering,’ Lucas clenched his hand around his dagger as he himself looked down at his feet, plunging the dagger into the heart of the rogue standing beside him.
He turned around and started killing the rogues one by one to control the fear and uneasiness he was feeling in his heart.
Harry and Garry looked at Lucas and understood his dilemma. Lucas was one of the only people alive who had seen the prince’s beast devil form when he went rampant. Thus, in this team, he was the only one who knew the true strength of the beast devil.
To say only the devil was coming out and the destruction level of the energy around him was at this level, they understood why the prince’s grandpa kept him away from the kingdom.
They had seen the devil surfacing quite a lot of times, but the devil’s instinct to actually surround the prince, leaving no part of his sanity in control, was insane and something even they were scared of, let alone these rogue vampires.
The rogue vampires narrowed their eyes, not understanding what was happening, but they weren’t left confused for a long time.
*****Trigger warning again- Please don’t puke.*****
Sebastian removed the cloth from his face, crushing it in his hand as he threw it into the fire.
Swoosh!
Sebastian moved with the speed of light, and everything went pin-drop silent.
They couldn’t decipher what happened in that mini-second.
One moment, they saw Sebastian taking the cloth off his face, and the second moment, his teeth were already sunk in Javin’s neck.
Blood dripped down Sebastian’s neck as he fed on one of the strongest rogue vampires.
Of course, these synthetic features tainted their blood, and it didn’t taste any good, but it was strong as hell.
"Brother!" Maze shouted in horror, and Sebastian stepped back after feeding enough. He raised his hand in the air, his gaze not leaving Maze for a second.
"I kind of like your eyes. I wonder if they’ll taste as good as they look," Sebastian smirked before he pulled Javin’s eyes, and everyone looked at him in horror.
"Now that I have them in my hand, their squishy texture isn’t so appealing anymore," Sebastian played with Javin’s eyeballs like it was nothing before he closed his fist, making a ’kach’ sound and the eyeball burst in his hands.
It was inhumane. Bile rose to a few rogue’s mouths, and they turned, wrenching their dinner in disgust.
Lucas and Sebastian’s men thinned their lips to control their emotions of dread as they wanted to turn away from the scene so badly.
"Such weak hearts," Sebastian smiled before licking his hand, all the while, looking into Maze’s eyes, who was too shocked to react.
"Thanks for mocking me. I couldn’t have tasted your eyeballs if you hadn’t," Sebastian said to Javin’s dead body as he brought the sword down and beheaded the rogue vampire.
Thud.
Thud.
The head fell on the ground and rolled towards the campfire before the entire body fell down.
****Trigger end****
"Brother! You monster! What did you do!" Maze rushed to Sebastian, but the latter had no intention of killing this second important person in the group.
He was important for interrogation. And that’s why Sebastian kicked Maze away so hard that his body slammed into the farthest tree.
"Lucas," Sebastian said, and Lucas gulped to control his trembling hands and immediately gave the prince’s battle mask back to the prince.
The mask was specially designed to hide the upper half face of the prince because, as a vampire and someone who loved feeding on blood and fear, his mouth needed to be exposed for easier access to his prey.
"We can win this. There’s no going back," Sebastian said, and his men nodded at him (fearing the worst in their hearts, unsure what else they’d get to see today).
