The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride -
Chapter 210: Devil mode alert
Chapter 210: Devil mode alert
******Trigger warning (for next four Chapters)- A little bit of blood, bodies dismembering, cutting scenes (nothing extreme). But read at your own risk. And don’t puke. Lol.******
The smell of death, burning flesh, and vampire blood lingered in the air.
The fire lit in the middle of the ground witnessed everything happening today.
In the parameter of 50m, nothing apart from blood and flesh was visible. The stench was so strong that it was becoming practically impossible for Sebastian to control his urges to feed.
Seeing another rogue vampire running towards the forest, Sebastian rushed to the side and stood in front of him in a split second.
"Where do you think you are going?" Sebastian grabbed his neck before smiling.
"When your leader decided to mess with us, he didn’t sign a running away and safety pact. You need to die," Sebastian said.
The fear of what was about to happen next was clear in the rogue eyes, and Sebastian liked it.
He liked how the rogue trembled like a dry leaf in front of him. He fed on it, trying to fill his insatiable desires.
"Kneel," Sebastian said, and the rogue, who wanted to live, immediately fell to his knees.
Sebastian didn’t pity anyone. He wasn’t designed like this.
However, he surely enjoyed seeing the death and fear in their eyes. He licked his bottom lip, a smirk appearing on his lips when he looked straight into the rogue’s wide eyes.
Since he wanted to be a bit creative, rather than plunging his heart out, Sebastian dismembered the rogue’s limbs, not even giving him the chance to scream before he beheaded the rogue by grabbing his hair in his fist and pulling his head from his body, letting his eyes roll in the back of his head.
So far Sebastian has killed thirty rogues who were trying to run away from the situation, and seeing how there were so many, he was right in deciding to stay back.
His gaze shifted to his men, who were struggling to keep up with the increasing number of vampires.
These vampires were stronger than Sebastian had anticipated. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that they were stronger than some of his men, but the biggest benefit they had was their numbers.
It looked like a never-ending saga. No matter how many they were killing, new vampires kept emerging from God knows where.
This won’t do. Sebastian knew he had to do something. He narrowed his eyes when he saw a rogue vampire sneaking close to his man, Breta, and his gaze turned cold.
"Not so soon," Sebastian walked behind Breta and pulled out the head of the rogue who was about to sink his teeth in Breta from behind.
"Are you okay?" Sebastian asked, and Breta nodded breathlessly.
Everyone was getting tired of these rogues’ constant attacks. It was becoming more of a self-defense than an attacking scenario. No one wanted these rogue vampires to become stronger by drinking their blood.
"Don’t you dare!" Lucas shouted when a few rogues attacked Garry together to sink their teeth into his body.
He pulled the rogues away from his friend’s body like a hungry monster. He was usually a peace-loving person, but no one could touch his family. And these people were his family.
"Ugh!" Harry roared, slashing the flesh of the rogue vampires at the best speed he could. Garry, who was down earlier, placed his hand inside his pocket and bit into the blood pouch he had brought just for this purpose.
He squeezed the blood pouch dry.
"He just did not drink it alone, right?" Lucas looked at George, who chuckled.
"He is always with the best backup plans," George wiped the blood from his face before digging his claws into the neck of the rogue vampire and pulling out his bone altogether.
"I am going to take a long bath after this fight, I swear," George said.
Sebastian killed another rogue vampire and looked around at his men, who were trying their best to fight off the rogue vampires while joking around to keep each other motivated. He felt pride in his heart.
This was the team he trained. This was the team that was allowed to be called Sebastian’s men. He smiled, flattening his hair backwards with his hands to squeeze the blood out of them that was dripping on his face, irritating him.
No matter how strong his men were pretending to be and how nicely they were fighting, Sebastian could see the truth that they were hiding behind their facade.
Harry’s limping, Garry’s wrong posture, Joseph’s swollen fingers, George’s dislocated left shoulder, and Lucas’s haggardness were all visible to him.
Seeing everything getting tired and wounded in some way or another as they tried their best to not shed any blood and give these rogue vampires what they wanted, and all the rogues starting to go into attack mode and his people suffering, Sebastian dropped his defense.
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
He tapped his sword on the ground and walked out from behind the trees.
The sound of the metal sword hitting the bodies and rubbing on the ground started echoing, and everything started to turn silent.
"Sir," Lucas whispered when he noticed what his prince was doing.
Sebastian walked towards the main group on the other side of the campfire and tilted his head, his stance and confidence making Maze narrow his brows as he looked at his men and signaled them to stay on high alert.
Who was this guy? He was drenched in the rogue vampire’s blood, but why didn’t he see this vampire earlier? Was he fighting behind the scenes? But why?
And what was with this presence?
It was almost as if he was the - Maze’s eyes drooped, and he looked at the man they knew as the youngest prince. Or should he say, the man who SAID he was the youngest prince?
"Well, well, I must say, you weren’t worthy of fighting with me, but what can I say? I had to do something about the pests latching onto my men," Sebastian said, his gaze sweeping over his men, who tried their best to show him they weren’t tired.
He sighed and looked back to the so-called pests of the vampire society.
"You wanted to kill me, right? Here I am, standing right in front of you. The real youngest prince of the royal empire," Sebastian said, bringing back half of his aura in full force, the vibes he was oozing, making the rogues step back from him.
"You wanted to drink my blood and see how powerful you can become? Come to me. The offer and the food are right in front of you," A small smirk appeared on Sebastian’s lips as he looked at all the rogues who suddenly stopped attacking his men and looked at him.
"Don’t hesitate. I am alone, and you are so many. Come at me," Sebastian extended his hand to lure him, and the rogues gulped, looking at each other hesitantly.
Yes. That’s what he wanted. For them to look and come for him.
A few rogues dared to walk toward him, but as soon as one of them reached a touching distance with Sebastian, the prince grabbed the rogue’s hand, raised him in the air, and broke his ribs.
The sickening sound of the spinal cord breaking along with the ribs echoed in the silent night before he threw the vampire into the fire. The sizzling sound and stench of flesh burning made the other rogues look at him in fear as they flinched back, rushing back to their group.
Maze closed his eyes in utter humiliation, seeing his rogues running like rats.
"This is not good," Lucas said.
"I can feel it," Harry said breathlessly.
"I can not imagine what will happen now," Garry said.
"The prince was entering his primal devil-attacking mode. If the rogues didn’t stop, his beast devil would take over, and the last time it happened, the entire royal Kingdom and dukes had to come forward to calm him," Skyler said, and they gulped.
Yes, they were scared. But they were more scared of what would happen to this area than the prince himself.
Author’s note- What are you guys doing? Motivate me with some magic castle so that I can write more! Does my Sebastian not deserve it? Do you want him to come in the beast mode?! Hahaha... just kidding. Thank you to everyone who is supporting my book with their precious time. Love you all.
