The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride -
Chapter 205: She was disgusted
Chapter 205: She was disgusted
"How was your day, princess?" Ambrose asked as soon as Elliana sat inside the car, and the girl looked at him with neutral eyes before nodding.
"It was okay," she said before closing her eyes and leaning her body on the window.
Ambrose didn’t know how to react anymore.
The prince had an important meeting with the spies because they got some intel about the increasing population of rogue vampires. That’s why Ambrose had to come alone to pick up the princess.
The entire journey, he had thought about what things he would say to the princess, or how he would initiate the conversation since this would be the first time he would be along with the princess, and staying quiet would be disrespectful. And he was definitely not Lucas who has experience in talking to the princess.
However, now that he looked at the princess and how she was being so nonchalant about everything, he didn’t know if he should sigh in relief or just worry if something was wrong.
After a silent journey of 20 minutes, Elliana got out of the car and went straight inside the palace without smiling or saying goodbye like she always does.
"Princess, I have prepared the -" The chef couldn’t complete his words because Elliana didn’t wait up and went straight to her room.
Miss Zoya who heard the chef saying princess, rushed to the hall to greet the princess, but seeing the sad look on the chef’s face, she narrowed her eyes.
This wasn’t like their princess at all. Something was definitely wrong with her today. Miss Zoya looked at the chef, making a note to ask Prince about it.
She couldn’t handle it anymore. She was done pretending to be okay.
Elliana closed the door with a bang and sat on the bed, the image of that guy still hovering inside her mind.
Just thinking about his face was making her want to vomit and take the stress out of her body in any way.
She rushed inside the bathroom and turned on the shower, standing under it to remove the feel of his filthy touch.
His hands, the roughness of his skin, his stinking breath, that whisper in her ears, she wanted to wash away everything from her body, and if possible, from her mind too.
"Mmmmhhh!" She moaned as she rubbed her hand up and down with a scrubber, feeling lost and helpless.
That look. That horrifying look in his eyes that was full of lust and disgust as if he wanted to eat her alive was etched in her mind. She moaned in pain as her body started to bleed, the blood drops mixing with the water and going down the drain.
Elliana looked at the blood that was flowing from her skin and going the drown and felt bile rising to her throat.
She rushed to the sink and vomited the content of her lunch before rinsing her face and leaning on the counter.
It’s been a long time since she felt this disgusted by something, this fearful of someone.
But the main question was, why?
Was it because of how that man looked at her? Was it because of how he disregarded her and held her? Because he said they only eat vampires? Or was it because of the way they smiled at each other while looking at her?
If they eat vampires, there’s no way they are natural. As far as she knows, the only original person alive to eat the vampires was her husband. Then who were they exactly? Elliana took a deep calming breath.
She pretended to be calm and all okay in front of her friends when the truth was she was anything but peaceful.
Those brown amber eyes, those hazel eyes, those quirks of their lips when they laughed at her, the handprints of their hands on her hand and neck, everything was roaming in her head like a never-ending movie reel.
She needed out. She needed space.
Yes. That’s what she needed right now. She needed to be alone. Elliana stood from her place and wrapped a towel around herself before going to her wardrobe and wearing a new set of fresh clothes.
Once she was dressed, she took her phone and walked out of the palace towards the forest, running as fast as she could towards the lake, the same lake of sorrows and sadness.
The happy and motivating words of her friends didn’t help her. Maybe it will be the sadness surrounding the lake that will help her ease the tension.
It was water. It has always been water that has helped her ease the tension in not only her body but her mind too.
She walked to the lake, a rogue tear falling down her eyes.
However, as soon as she passed the last tree, she noticed someone standing there and smoking something.
"Who is this?" Elliana asked, her footsteps padded, and Harry turned around with wide eyes.
"Princess?" Harry asked in shock, unsure of how he wasn’t able to hear her arrival at all.
He was one of the leading spies. How the hell did he make such a big mistake?
But that wasn’t a matter of concern to him. The main matter of concern was...
"Harry, you need to increase the security in the western regions. The forests are connected to the -" Sebastian paused, turning to his left where Elliana was standing, looking at him with wide tearful eyes.
This was a matter of concern. The Prince was roaming around without a mask on his face, and as far as he knew the princess was yet to see their Prince’s face.
"I’ll take it from here. Go to the western regions. I have explained everything to them," Sebastian said, and Harry nodded before looking at Princess one last time and leaving.
"What are you doing here?" Sebastian asked. Elliana didn’t bother to answer him and walked past him towards the lake.
"I am asking you a question, Princess," Sebastian held her hand, and Elliana jerked her hand away from him, making him raise his brows.
"How many times do I have to tell you to not call my princess or hold my hand? You might be Mr. Marino’s friend, but you are nothing to me," Elliana spat in her moment of frustration, surprising Sebastian with the intensity of her frustration before he realized the problem.
How can he forget? He was Mr. Tian right now.
But even after that, her behavior was quite strange. She was quite okay when he visited her at the University.
He sighed and was about to give her some privacy since she was surely not interested in talking to Tian when he noticed the fingerprints near her elbow, tainting her porcelain skin.
"Who touched you?" He asked, and Elliana turned to him briefly before standing on one of the rocks.
"Just go and do your work. I don’t want to talk to anyone now," she said, and Sebastian’s eyes narrowed when she looked like she was about to jump into the lake.
