"Elliana, are you okay?" Dexter asked as soon as came out of his shocked state, and he noticed her half-burnt dress.

This was bad.

His gaze immediately shifted to her face, and seeing her looking at him with sadness in her eyes, Dexter pressed his lips into a thin line before he held her hand and pulled her in for a hug.

"I am sorry that it happened to you," Dexter said, and Elliana’s eyes brimmed with tears.

At the same time, Lucas, who was sent away by the prince to check up on the princess and ensure that she doesn’t end up drinking and getting intoxicated again, looked at the scene in horror.

"Princess!" He shouted as he rushed to the railing and quickly jumped down to the area where Elliana and Dexter were.

"There is no way this was a mere coincidence. You weren’t here, a power outage happens, Elliana, the human you hate gets bullied and she has to jump into the water to save her dignity," Samantha growled, and Gabrielle looked at everyone who was standing against her.

She turned to her group of friends, who took a step back and looked away, not wanting to get meddled with this issue.

She couldn’t move. Her hand was stopped mid-action, and she was ready to bash the person who stopped her when she froze.

"Elliana? What are you doing? You don’t need to act so forgiving here. People like her don’t deserve any forgiveness. Keep your goodness for those who deserve it," Melony looked at the girl’s pale face, and her heart ached terribly.
