Chapter 171: You don’t have a choice
"Princess, open the window," Sebastian said, annoyed after some time.
Elliana didn’t comply with his orders. She sat on the bed with her legs sprawled in front of her because they were aching terribly.
"I’ll make your pain go away," Sebastian placed his hand on the window sill from outside.
Elliana closed her eyes with a sigh, her mind going back to the way he took away her pain last time. Those soft touches and kisses on her legs, the way he sucked her thighs so that she could wear comfortable clothes on the trip.
A shaky breath left her mouth as her heart skipped a beat just at the thought of him touching her again.
"Princess, don’t test my patience. You know I can break this door or window or the entire Inn as a matter of fact. If you don’t want people to know who you are, just open this damned window!" Sebastian raised his voice.
"What do you want, Mr. Marino? I want to rest. Please leave me alone for some time," Elliana said, and it immediately became quiet.
She knew that Mr. Marino wasn’t the type of person who would give in just like that. She narrowed her eyes, and with great difficulty, she walked to the window.
With a small creek, she tried to look outside.
"Oh god," She widened her eyes when a different pair of curious eyes looked back at her, making her fall on her butt.
"Aaaa," Elliana groaned in sheer pain as the tissues tore open again and blood seeped out of them.
"Elliana! Are you okay? What the hell were you thinking?" Daniel asked and was about to enter when he turned to his left where her bodyguard was standing, throwing daggers at him with his eyes.
"I was just. .. She fell," Daniel said, and Sebastian raised his brows.
"She what?" Sebastian asked, practically jerking the window open, unhinging them from the bolts. Elliana looked at the windows that were broken before looking at the hazel eyes that looked back at her.
She observed him and thinned her lips. There was no way she would believe that this all was a coincidence.
"That’s why I said I should stay inside. Now look what you have done," Sebastian smirked inside his mask. As he had thought, everything was going according to his plans.
It’s okay.
His princess can bear a little pain. At least it will keep him close to her, and she will stay under his supervision. It’s a winning situation nonetheless.
Besides, her pain? He will take it away for sure.
Sebastian bent down as he picked her in his arms, a bit too close to his chest than was needed.
"Elliana, why are you always using your brain that is your biggest enemy? What is a bodyguard for?
I understand that you are uncomfortable with all of us, but he is your bodyguard for god’s sake. At least keep him inside the room. You are seriously a trouble in disguise. Are you okay?" Daniel asked, and Elliana, who was only looking away with narrowed eyes, hummed dejectedly.
"You should take her to your room. The windows came undone and it’s not good for her. Her blood scent is still thick," Daniel said, and Sebastian nodded like a good bodyguard he was.
"Let’s go," He said, looking at Elliana, who was still not looking at him, and sighed.
"Does it hurt too much?" Sebastian asked as soon as he placed her on the bed.
Elliana looked at him with narrowed eyes, forbidding herself from replying to him before she closed her eyes.
He can do whatever he wants. She is not giving in to his smoldering eyes again. She is not calling for the same thing again.
"If you don’t reply to me, I’ll check it myself," Sebastian said before he snuck his hand under his waist and brought them down, grabbing her butt cheeks.
Her eyes flew open as heat crept up her neck, and she looked at him in shock.
What the hell was he thinking?!
"Does it hurt here?" He asked, looking at her with a blank expression even when he was smirking inside his mask.
"Mr. Prince!" Elliana shouted before she grabbed his hand and was about to remove it when he squeezed her butt sensually, a gasp leaving her mouth, her legs comic closer involuntarily.
Sebastian smiled at her reaction. She may deny it as much as she likes, but her body craves his touch.
"You are still at that Mr. Prince thing?" He asked, pressing a little more, and Elliana huffed, struggling under his hands as she tried her best to free her butt from his steel-like grip.
It was starting to sting her, and she looked at him with a wronged expression, tears welling in her eyes.
"Why are you doing this to me?" Elliana asked, and his hands froze on her before he pulled back.
"What do you mean?" He asked, taking off his jacket and walking to the other side of the bed.
He got inside the bed and sat with his body supported on the headboard.
"Why are you playing these games with me?" Elliana asked, not dodging him when he pulled her close.
"Why are you treating me like this? One moment you are screaming at your subordinate that you want to pull out my heart and burst it. That I am nothing more than a stepping stone to you, and the next moment you are acting like everything is okay between us and you care a lot about me when you and I both know that’s not the truth," Elliana asked in a single breath, taking deep breaths to calm her raging heart.
Sebastian smiled and moved his hand through her hair as if caressing them.
"Don’t you understand, Princess? It’s so simple. I am a devil, and I take pleasure in playing with people’s feelings. I am playing with you because you belong to me. You are now my prized possession, and this possession of me has unluckily started liking the devil.
You can like Sebastian, but you can’t like the devil inside me? How cruel of you, princess," Sebastian murmured and moved away, his hand traveling down to the front of her abdomen as he unbuttoned her Capri.
"You wanted me to be exactly how we were. To act like how we were. So what’s the problem?" Sebastian asked, and Elliana’s eyes widened at what he was doing.
"No!" Elliana said, and Sebastian smirked inside the mask.
"I think I miss the fact when I gave you a chance to deny me anything. Do you think you have a choice in this matter, Princess? You should’ve known what you were signing up for when you married the known monster of the vampire kingdom," Sebastian smiled, liking the hints of edginess in her eyes that were willingly caused by him this time.
"You have been a very naughty girl, Princess. I think it’s about time I start punishing you," Sebastian cupped her cheeks, his hold a bit more powerful than it would’ve been called lovely.
