Chapter 119: Let me heal your wounds
"Are you packing for the trip, princess?" Miss Zoya asked as she walked inside the room and saw Elliana sitting on the ground with a suitcase open in front of her and looking at it thoughtfully.
"I don’t know how to do it," Elliana said, and Miss Zoya sighed at the girl’s helpless expression.
"Should I help you with that?" Miss Zoya asked, and Elliana hummed.
Miss Zoya looked at the things she placed in the suitcase so far and narrowed her eyes. The clothes that she placed so far were just -
"Princess, you are going to the islands. Why are you packing these full-length clothes? Shouldn’t you be packing some shorts or skirts?" Miss Zoya asked.
"I don’t want to show anyone my wounds," Elliana’s answer was curt, but for some reason, it held such a deep meaning that Miss Zoya paused and looked at the girl.
Rather than taking out clothes from the wardrobe, she sat with the princess
"What are you worried about?" Miss Zoya felt the anxiousness in the princess’s voice earlier.
Elliana looked at her fingers as she played with her dress and sighed.
"I don’t know. It’s not been so long since I met my friends. I want to go and enjoy, but what if I am the only human there? If they’ll have more friends, then I might end up becoming awkward and feeling alone. And these wounds, they make me look ugly," Elliana muttered.
"You won’t be ugly there. Tian would be there with you, no? You know him," Miss Zoya said, and Elliana sighed.
"You don’t understand," she was feeling agitated that Miss Zoya wasn’t getting what she was worried about, and she stood from her place before stuffing the clothes in the suitcase in anger.
"You will miss your prince," Miss Zoya said, and Elliana’s hand froze on the clothes.
"That’s not the case," Elliana said in a defensive tone, and Miss Zoya couldn’t help but smile.
Here the princess was becoming anxious and everything, and there the prince was contemplating whether he should go himself.
"Prin-" Miss Zoya was about to speak when Sebastian walked inside the room.
"Really? That’s not the case. You won’t miss my presence around you?" Sebastian asked Elliana and grabbed her jaws, forcing her to look into his eyes, and Miss Zoya widened her eyes.
"Miss Zoya, I am sure you wouldn’t want to interrupt something you shouldn’t," Sebastian said, and Miss Zoya nodded before leaving immediately, closing the door behind her.
"Mr. Marino," Elliana said with her pouted lips and torn eyes, and Sebastian sighed before bending and placing his forehead on hers, pushing her backward until her back hit her wardrobe, and she was to fall in her clothes when he held her waist and pulled her, his face only a centimeter away from her.
"Dear Princess, how can you say such a harsh thing to my maids and workers without a care in the world? Hmm? How can you be so heartless? And here I was thinking of asking the chef to pack some stuff for you for the trip, but you don’t even think about me," Sebastian grabbed her jaws again.
"Huh, I am going to forgive you this time because this is your first offense, but if this gets repeated, you have no idea what I can do to you. I really hate it when things I like don’t appreciate my care," Sebastian said, and he was sure that Elliana would be scared to her wits after seeing the sinister look on his face.
He waited for her to tremble. He wanted to see the fear clouding her eyes because he hated that she was on his mind so much that he wasn’t able to concentrate on anything anymore.
"Is that so? Is that a confession, Mr. Marino?" Elliana rather asked, cupping his cheeks from above the mask, and Sebastian narrowed his eyes.
"What?"
"You said you hate it when things you like don’t appreciate you. Does that mean you like me now?" Elliana asked in her soft and sweet innocent voice, and Sebastian felt contemplated.
What the hell? Was her thought process in the gutter? He was gripping her jaws so hard and clearly showing her how dangerous he can be, and that was all she took out from his sentences.
"I would surely miss you, but it’s not like I can ask you to come with me. You have so much work. It’s already a good thing that you agreed to me going with them. How can I ask you -"
"I get it. Are you done with the packing?" Sebastian turned around and left her waist, making her breathe a sigh of relief.
She was really unsure if she was playing with fire just now.
"I am having a hard time doing it. I’ll probably do it after dinner," Elliana murmured before folding the towel that fell from her closet earlier.
Sebastian looked at her suitcase and noticed the three pieces of clothes she placed in it. All three of them were full-length outfits and his gaze traveled to Elliana, who was wearing leggings under the dress to hide her wounds.
"Do you want me to cure your wounds, princess?" Sebastian asked, and Elliana who was busy calming her emotions, looked at him with narrowed brows.
"Cure my wounds?" Elliana remembered how he forced her to drink turmeric milk.
"I won’t make you drink something," Sebastian said, and Elliana nodded after some thought.
"Well, you’ll have to take off your leggings for that and close your eyes," Sebastian smirked inwardly.
"My leggings? Why would I have to take them off? I.. " It’s not appropriate, Elliana wanted to say, but she controlled her words.
How can it not be appropriate? He was her husband for shouting out loud. Everything was appropriate in front of him. It was all good as long as he wasn’t forcing himself on her, and did she really feel bothered by his touch? That doesn’t seem like the case so far.
Elliana gulped before nodding.
"What are you waiting for then? Take off your leggings and get on the bed," Sebastian smirked, and Elliana cleared her throat, her face as red as a beetroot.
"I’ll come in a second," Elliana went inside the bathroom to take off her leggings and Sebastian suppressed the urge to chuckle at her innocence.
The more righteous and full of manners she tries to appear, the more his urge to tease her increases.
Elliana walked out of the bathroom, her knee-length dress doing nothing to hide her long olive legs that were laced with scratches and marks, and Sebastian sighed when he noticed her trying to hide herself.
He walked to her and gripped her chin, raising her head, forcing her to look into his eyes.
"Don’t ever hide yourself from me. You are beautiful in my eyes," Sebastian said before he bent and picked her in his arms even when the bed was only five steps away.
He looked into her eyes as she wrapped her arms around his neck, making him sigh inwardly.
Screw orders, it looks like he is going to go on this trip with the princess as the prince. He needs to keep a keen observation on her, and for that he would have to sleep in the same room as her. Sebastian thought and placed her on the bed, blindfolding her.
"You know, a vampire’s saliva, especially high-power ones can cure wounds," Sebastian said and Elliana hummed, her heart starting drumming in her heart.
She had thought that the prince would rub his saliva on her wounds and that’s why he made her wear the blindfold.
However, what he did next, made her heart freeze in place.
