The Last King Of Darkness -
Chapter 769 - 430 Sith Giant Brain_2
Chapter 769: Chapter 430 Sith Giant Brain_2
Rod didn’t immediately agree.
To create the Colorful Dreams, he needed Nightmare Materials, which he had already exhausted.
Where could he find more before the invasion?
With twenty-one days left until the Bright Festival and over forty days until the Soul Devouring King’s invasion, he could probably wait until the next Star Flash moment.
The Colorful Dreams were too valuable to waste, and according to the Book of Knowledge, it would only be a matter of a delay of a few days.
Finally, Rod took inventory of his stock and had a clear idea in mind, then returned to the Material World.
The atmosphere in the hall had become tumultuous, and beneath the black hoods, all eyes were focused forward.
Luo Weiya was in quiet discussion with Horus and Megan about something.
In front of them was a vast expanse of silver Spiritual Energy script, and new Spirit Crow Messengers kept arriving, either transforming into silver light or leaving behind messages, as a giant Holy Fire emblem on Luo Weiya’s chest lit up, flashing continuously.
Rod asked Tai Luo in a soft voice, "Has something happened? I was just checking my soul."
Tai Luo’s face was solemn, and his Giant Sword behind him was trembling slightly as he said quietly, "There’s been some kind of disturbance in the Spirit Realm for no apparent reason, causing a riot in certain areas of Spiritual Energy. Many powerful monsters have been awakened, and we’re in crisis."
Rod furrowed his brows.
The Spirit Realm?
He asked in his mind, "Book, can we see the changes in the Spirit Realm through the Light Platform?"
The Book of Knowledge flipped its pages and replied, "Master, why do you ask such questions? The changes in the Spirit Realm are countless and vast, like an endless ocean, and the Material World is but a small island upon that ocean. The Spirit Realm came first before the Material World."
Rod briefly explained the situation.
The Book of Knowledge mused, "The view from the Light Platform is limited, and even the Star Core cannot scout indefinitely, but if we have you as an anchor point, we can try."
It summoned the Book of the Future to operate the Light Platform while extending its own fog of soul to make contact with its master.
"Book of the Future, observe the target in the direction I guide," it instructed.
The Book of the Future hummed, but in this round, the Book of Knowledge had awoken much earlier and its position in the Dream Realm vastly exceeded that of the other, leaving it no choice but to grudgingly acquiesce.
The Light Platform guided its gaze, passing through spatial rifts and position barriers, staring down from the upper echelons of the Spirit Realm, observing the projection of that being with a special connection to the Dream Realm.
It was a chaotic mess of space where the currents of Spiritual Energy and the fluctuations of space fiercely lashed out. Vortices of the Spirit Realm and empty cavities of energy moved constantly.
"It’s chaotic there," the Book of the Future said succinctly.
"It will be even more chaotic in the future," replied the Book of Knowledge unsatisfied. "Don’t utter pointless chatter; find the source of the disturbance."
The Book of the Future closed its mouth in dissatisfaction, its gaze wandering throughout.
Suddenly, it spotted a flash of light that caused the already chaotic Spirit Realm to become even more frenzied every time it appeared, with overflowing energy striking against the stability of space.
"I see it!" it exclaimed.
"Something is disturbing the balance of the Spirit Realm!"
The Book of Knowledge quickly said, "Keep your eye on it! Describe every feature of it!"
While the Book of the Future followed the flash, it described every detail of each appearance.
A moment later, the Book of Knowledge declared resolutely, "It’s the Sith Giant Brain! A vast brain formed through rot, deterioration, pollution, and corruption, it is an extremely evil Spirit Realm monster that harbors great malevolence towards any living being. You must have disturbed it somehow."
Rod was both shocked and delighted; he had only tried on a whim, never expecting to actually pinpoint the cause.
"Book, and Book of the Future, you’ve done well," he commended.
The Book of Knowledge replied indifferently, "Though I’d like to decline the credit, I must say that the main credit goes to me."
The Book of the Future was very dissatisfied, but given its current position and need for its help, it held its tongue.
Asa was its main adversary; it had long decided that it must persuade the master to drive that nauseating creature out of the Dream Realm.
To achieve this goal, the support of the Book of Knowledge and the doll Aphro were indispensable.
Meanwhile, as soon as Rod returned to the Material World, he declared loudly, "Your Excellency Luo Weiya, Lord Horus, I know what is affecting the Spirit Realm!"
Luo Weiya, Horus, and Megan all looked up simultaneously.
Horus’s eyes shone with a strange light, "Little Rod, how do you know this?"
Luo Weiya frowned, "This is a matter concerning the battle for Starry Sky City; you can’t speak carelessly."
Megan looked at him with a dark gaze.
Rod cleared his throat and relayed the findings of the Book of Knowledge.
All three exchanged glances, each seeing surprise in the other’s eyes.
"Sith Giant Brain?"
"Such Spirit Realm monsters are rare, and indeed, its capabilities could influence the stability of the Spirit Realm while also harboring extreme enmity towards any living beings, but..."
Luo Weiya looked at Rod with an incomprehensible gaze.
"How can you be certain it’s the one?"
Rod said sternly, "Of course, through my superior intelligence and vast experience, after meticulous logical reasoning, I ruled out all other possibilities, leading me to conclude that the Sith Giant Brain is most likely the cause."
Horus immediately believed him.
"Rod is right; I remember that the last battle report mentioned traces of activity similar to the Sith Giant Brain near the Plague Forest."
Megan’s expression was uncertain, but after careful consideration, the more he thought, the more likely it seemed, and the less likely other possibilities became, as there were several details that didn’t match up.
