THE Knight's Hidden Princess
Chapter 105: Here It Goes

Chapter 105: Here It Goes

Reagan and I returned to the camp site in silence. He had offered to carry me back but I had protested, even though my legs felt like jellies. Reagan being the bastard that he is smirked knowingly at my refusal but thankfully he hadn’t pushed. I managed to walk to the camp site while keeping my head down but there was no denying the heat in my cheeks.

I was convinced everyone already knew what Reagan and I went to do in the woods. We had not been that far off from the camp but if they heard us they gave no indication that they did. I swallowed as I walked further inside the camp while avoiding contact with everyone and anyone but that was impossible.

I could feel eyes on me, the weight of their glances lingering just a little too long and I looked up only to Nikolai crouched by the fire and this time he was sharpening one of his daggers. He lifted his gaze up, staring at Reagan then back at me before he returned to his blades but there was no denying the smirk that played at his lips and I almost groaned aloud at the mortification I felt.

Heather on the other hand was doing everything to get me to meet her gaze and when she saw that I wasn’t doing it. She walked away from where she was tending to the horses and came to stand in front of me.

"My lady, my lord," She greeted with a smile on her face, "I hope you had a nice walk?" She asked while giving me a pointed look.

"Nice walk indeed, it was quite refreshing I would say." Reagan said coming to stand beside me, his hand grabbing me by my waist.

My eyes snapped to his as I glared at him. What the hell did he think he was playing at? I thought to myself as I glared at him while his grip on my waist tightened in a way that belonged to someone claiming their possession. He handles me as if he had the right to touch me in public view.

Gritting my teeth, I gently jabbed my elbows in his waist trying to push him away but Reagan just continued to smile at me looking every bit unflustered as he stroked my hip gently through my shirt.

Fucking bastard! I thought to myself just as I tried not to remember the feel of him on my thighs or the way his hands had marked my skin.

"Refreshing? That’s what we are calling it now eh?" Heather’s eyes danced from me to Reagan before they finally rested on me, "My lady, a word?"

Here it goes! I smiled tightly at her before nodding in response, "Of course." I said before I headed towards the tent.

I turned to see Heather give Reagan one last look before she decided to enter the tent. As soon as the flap closed she whirled around to look at me. "So, you going to tell me what happened?"

I groaned as I leaned backwards in my seat, "I swear it all just happened so fast, I have no idea what happened. I have no idea what we are, what we are doing, or how whatever we just did even started in the first place, I swear it all juts happened so fast!" I finished on a sob.

"Hey, hey, hey , hey, hey." Heather said before she came over and hugged me.

I allowed her to, welcoming her comfort as I held onto her for security against my total collapse. I could feel my heart beating fast as I heaved sobs on Heather’s shoulder as I went over the recent events and the confusing emotions that kept swirling in my mind.

Gods, what have I done?

This wasn’t what I wanted. For fuck’s sake the man had been ready to let me go, he hurt me and what did I do? I let him back in.

I felt so raw, exposed even.

And the worst part? His presence remained within me in every possible direction. I could still feel the ache between my thighs, his mouth on mine and what even made me even angrier is the fact that I still want him after everything that just happened.

Those shameful needy sounds that escaped me as his rough fingers gently fingered me as he took my orgasms.

Gods what was wrong with me?

"There, there, there, my lady, let it all out!" Heather’s soothing voice said as she continued to pat me, "It will all be okay eventually."

"I just don’t know what’s happening to me, I swear I was going to let him go! He didn’t even want me and I was done with him."

Heather heaved out a sigh, "Yeah but you do want the thing between his legs."

"Oh for fuck’s sake!" I playfully shoved Heather away from me watching as she took two step backwards while laughing at me like she had just told the best joke of the century.

Heather snorted as she continued to tease me. "Oh please my lady, don’t act so modest now, I heard you in the forest, remember?"

"Oh gods above!" I groaned out loud as I scrubbed my face in mortification.

Heather seemed to take joy in my embarrassment because she shrugged at me, "Please darling, it wasn’t just me. I’d bet anything on me that the whole camp heard you screaming the sire’s name!"

"Oh for fuck’s sake Heather!" I groaned at her in response as she laughed out loud, the sound grating on my nerves and I didn’t know whether I wanted to hug her or punch her in the face.

Although, as I watched her continued to laugh loudly at me, I realized it was the later. Funny how I was crying and feeling bad for giving in to my desires and Heather here is taking joy in me getting some action with my husband.

I could feel my lips twitching despite everything. Staring up at her, I shook my head as she continued to laugh at me. "Okay Heather, you can settle down now."

"Why?" Heather snorted in response, "It’s fun teasing you!"

"Yeah whatever." I said with an eye roll before I turned to look out at the small gap in the tent. "Do you think he’s starting to regret what happened?"

"Based on the roar we heard in the woods, I’d say he doesn’t." Heather said staring at me, "I mean why? Do you...do you want him to?"

I thought hard on the question, the truth was I didn’t know. I also don’t know if I regretted it or if I wanted him to. There were a lot of things I don’t know right now.

Where do we stand? What do I even say to him right after? Does he still want me to leave? What happens when we go home? Will he still go back to Celeste? Oh gods, I don’t want him going back to Celeste!

"I don’t know." I answered with a groan.

Heather sighed before she knelt in front of me, "I think you don’t have to worry about that anymore." Heather said and I stared up at her, "I think sire already has his head on straight. I could see it from the way he looks at you so I do not think he regrets it."

I sighed as I leaned back in my seat. "I don’t know Heather, what if it’s all just a game to him? What if all of this was nothing to him? What if he change when he goes back home?"

"My lady, do you not see the way sire looks at you?" Heather asked me.

"Well I didn’t because I was too busy feeling embarrassed to look him in the eye." I grumbled under my breath.

Heather chuckled a little as she stared up at him, "Oh my sweet naïve lady. If only you saw how sire looked at you, you would have seen him stare at you like you are the only thing that mattered in the world."

"You exaggerate."

"Do I though?" Heather asked before she reached out to grasp my hand, "Tell me after what transpired between two of you, you don’t feel some slight change in his attitude towards you?"

I did feel it. I could feel it the moment we returned to the camp, the gentleness in which he used to hold my waist as he stood beside me in a protective stance.

No matter how hard I tried not to meet his gaze, I could still feel his eyes on me the entire time as if he was worried I would vanish if he took his gaze off me.

I sighed as I took in a deep breath, "I don’t know, it might just be the high of the moment."

Heather gave me a look like she was about to say something but then before she could, Eddie entered the tent. He bowed at me as he addressed me and I didn’t miss how pink his ears were and how he couldn’t meet my gaze.

"Um, sire asked that you start getting ready, we are leaving soon." He said then practically ran out the tent.

I sat still as I stared at the tent where Eddie ran out, "You don’t think he..um...you don’t think he..."

"Heard you?" Heather asked as she turned to stare at me with a slow smile on her face. "What do you think I meant when I said the whole camp heard you?"

"Oh gods!" I said with a groan before I fell back on the bed!
