Chapter 130: Punishment for Upsetting the General

Alaric had a good talk with his former master, General Artemis. He learned more about Princess Esmeralda and the Goldwyn Royal Family.

When he returned to the slum, he immediately searched for Eve. He found her in their room, playing with Silvester.

"Princess! Princess! Your husband is here!" Silvester informed Eve the moment he saw Alaric standing by the door.

Princess Eve turned in the direction of the door and saw her husband. Her lips curled up into a smile as she stood up, making her way toward Alaric.

"You are back!" Eve hugged her husband.

Alaric lifted her and embraced her tightly. "Yes, I’m back. I miss you." He planted a soft kiss on her lips.

"Silvester, can you leave us for a moment? You can play with Leon and the other children," Alaric requested the parrot.

Silvester didn’t respond to Alaric. But instead, he glanced at Eve. With her go signal, Silvester obeyed Princess Eve, leaving the room.

Alaric immediately closed the door and pulled Eve toward the bed. They sat down together.

"Eve, today... I learned more about your mother and your family," Alaric said truthfully, holding her hands.

Eve glanced at him curiously. "What did you find out about my mother?"

Alaric paused for a moment before telling her everything he heard from General Artemis. Eve just listened to him attentively. When he was done talking, Eve showed him her jade pendant.

"Annie also told me about my mother’s origin. This is proof that I’m a member of the Goldwyn Royal Family. Before she died, she instructed me to find Aluka Winslow, the former royal guard captain of my grandfather, King Arthur."

Alaric frowned, feeling a little bit disheartened and upset. "Why didn’t you tell me this? Don’t you trust me enough, Eve?"

"I trust you. It’s just that..." Eve didn’t know how she would justify her actions. She could see that Alaric was unhappy and upset.

Alaric let go of her hand and suddenly stood up. "I’ll just take a bath. You should eat dinner with the children. Don’t wait for me."

Without looking back, Alaric headed to the shower room. He didn’t want to talk to Eve because he was upset. He felt like Eve didn’t trust him enough, that’s why she concealed her mother’s real identity from him. She never mentioned Kingdom Zephyra and the Goldwyn royal family.

At that certain moment, Eve knew she messed it up. They promised each other to be open and honest. She was the one who broke it first.

"Sigh. I need to appease him," Eve mumbled. She followed him into the shower room.

Alaric was already in the tub when Eve entered the shower room. His eyes were closed as he leaned his back, trying to relax his body. His muscles felt sore from the intense training the entire day. Alaric seemed like he didn’t notice her presence.

Eve could only bite her lips as she watched Alaric, feeling guilty. She made him upset. She didn’t want him to get mad at her.

Without hesitation, Eve boldly removed her dress, letting it fall on the floor. Then she quietly strode toward Alaric with her light footsteps.

Alaric peeled his eyes open when he felt someone stepping inside the tub. He was surprised to see his naked wife in front of him.

"Eve?"

Eve smiled at him sweetly before she sat down on his lap, facing him.

"Forgive me, Alaric. Please don’t be upset with me anymore," Eve softly said as she anchored her arms around his neck, leaning over until her soft plump breast touched his sturdy chest.

Alaric could only gulp hard as he felt her soft body press against him. ’Is she trying to appease me by doing this? Where and when did she learn these tactics?’

How could Alaric be upset with her if she was acting so intimately with him right now? Eve was his weakness.

"You can punish me for breaking our promise of no more secrets between us..." Eve said, meeting his gaze intently. She was so determined to ask his forgiveness.

Alaric tries his best to control his desire. He shouldn’t give in just yet.

"What kind of punishment do you want?" he asked her, cocking his eyebrow.

Eve fell silent for a moment as she looked away.

"You can hurt me," Eve blurted out, breaking her silence.

Alaric frowned deeply when he heard that. ’Hurt you?! Why would I do that?’

Eve continued, "Whenever I upset Queen Amara and my sisters, they would always punish me by lashing me with a whip, locking me up in an old storage room, and not letting me eat for days. They also beat me."

"Now, that I made you upset... you can also do anything to me... just don’t get mad at me anymore," Eve said pleadingly.

Alaric could only sigh deeply, lifting her chin so that he could make eye contact with her.

"What do you think of me, Eve? Do I look the same? Do you think I will feel happy to hurt you and punish you?"

Eve shook her head. "Then tell me what should I do to make it up to you? I made you upset and unhappy. I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings. But I swear I trust you, Alaric."

"I thought you already knew what to do, that’s why you were here," Alaric said to her meaningfully, simply licking his lips.

Eve looked at him confusedly. Before she could say a word, Alaric suddenly pulled her, his hands gripping her waist tightly.

She involuntarily gasped when Alaric began grinding against her as he moved her body on his lap.

Her eyes widened at the feel of a growing erection underneath her. Now, she finally understood what Alaric was referring to– the best way of appeasing her upset husband.

"Do you want to make love with me right now?" Eve asked him innocently.

Alaric thrust his hips upward in response to her, the tip of his erection rubbing against her bare apex.

"This is the only punishment I can give you... Eve... I don’t wish to hurt you... But I will sweetly torture you by making love with you," he whispered sensually before biting her earlobe.
