The Growth of a Titan
Chapter 387- A Battle Between Two Deities

Chapter 387: Chapter 387- A Battle Between Two Deities

Cian’s expression became even colder as he swished his sleeves. The sea of magic golden symbols in the sky flew down to enter the city. In the next second, the bracelet slammed down on the city with heaven-shaking and earth-shattering might to crush everything below.

The entire Necropolis Domain trembled uncontrollably, and large gorges appeared due to the bracelet’s frightening power. This type of destruction was absolutely terrifying, even without defeating Cian, this should have destroyed the Domain.

However, Sol realized that the city was the core of this domain. If he had intended to leave, the only way was to defeat Cian or destroy this city.

But his bracelet had failed.

The void above Sol’s Heavenly Tree rippled and the ghost city slowly appeared. There were numerous buildings within, and there were even people going about their day.

The city was several million square meters, and it was far from large enough to encapsulate the entire battlefield. After fully appearing, it then pressed down on Sol’s Heavenly Tree and completely suppressed it, causing its growth to halt.

Below this ghost city, a terrifying aura spread out to encapsulate Sol, but the Heavenly Tree swayed and forced back this aura. At the same time, it released a dazzling green glow that enshrouded Sol and spread out.

Cian’s Sea of white flames encapsulated him before spreading out to meet this green glow. Intense ripples immediately spread out as they clashed.

Sol was in a Sea of green while Cian was in a Sea of white, both glared at each other from hundreds of meters away. Then without a word, their figures suddenly dashed out.

In the blink of an eye, both reached each other, and a world-shaking battle unfolded.

The Necropolis Domain enhanced Cian’s physical strength while Sol used his fleshly body, the two clashed continuously causing loud explosions to echo out.

These attacks were shocking and could shatter mountains and drain seas. Both of them seemed to be evenly matched but neither backed down. Instead, their attacks grew fierce and more ferocious.

Quickly, the battle became bloody. Their clothes were stained red, painting a gruesome sight.

However, the white flames from the sacred torch surrounding Cian and the Life Essence flowing from the Heavenly Tree into Sol would heal all of their injuries.

Thus, both of them had inexhaustible energy and their battle continued to increase to shocking levels of explosiveness.

This battle was not ordinary, it truly seemed as if two Deities from the Archaic Era had reincarnated into these two youths and were waging war against each other.

It would have shocked both the people of the Western and Eastern Continent.

Was this truly a battle between two Earth Expanse level cultivators? No one would have believed that was the case if they had been able to witness this battle.

BANG!

Cian managed to smash his fist into Sol’s chest which resulted in him coughing out a mouth full of blood and was sent flying. He crashed into the mountain-like trunks of his heavenly Tree and shattered them upon impact.

However, not a second later Sol’s figure shot out of the crater. He then released a roar as he shot towards the sky.

"AGAIN!!!"

The destroyed tree trunks quickly recovered as Sol’s figure exploded towards Cian. His golden Fist Intent suddenly erupted from his body and mixed with his green Innate Dharma’s Life Essence. Adding to his fleshly body, his battle prowess was increased severalfold.

Sol’s speed increased as he appeared in front of a shocked Cian before smashing his fist into his chest.

Cian similarly coughed out a mouth full of blood and was sent flying. He smashed into the ground and caused a massive crater to form, but he immediately charged out right after.

He came to a stop across from Sol in the sky and stared at him coldly. Sol had broken the equilibrium and was no more powerful than him.

Sol returned Cian’s cold stare and with eyes shining with divine light he urged.

"Enough holding back, no matter the outcome of this battle, you already used up too much energy. This Domain will collapse at any moment, but before that happens, I want to fight you at full strength. SO COME AT ME!!!"

Cian continued to stare coldly at Sol and intense battle intent flickered in his eyes. He no longer held back and with a low roar the Sea of white flames that covered the sky for several hundred meters rushed into his body.

When all of the white flames fully entered his body, Cian’s gray robes turned pure white while his hair and eyes turned even whiter. At the same time, his skin slowly turned a dull grayish color, and his body grew by several inches.

At the end of his robes, white flames swayed constantly while a pure white light enshrouded his entire body. This white light gave off a peaceful feeling, but at the same time, it filled with death.

All of a sudden, Cian seemed to have transformed into a Death God, a Death God responsible for bringing about a peaceful death to all living beings in existence.

Cian looked at Sol and suddenly opened his mouth to say.

"Child of the Titans, not only your soul, but your very existence is something that goes against the rules of the Heavenly Realm. If you know what’s good for you, you will stay in the Mortal Realm and not venture to that place where your existence is unwanted."

Sol’s eyes flickered.

"Are you from that place?"

Cian regained his aloof demeanor, but he still shook his head and answered.

"I am not from that place; I was born here. However, my connection to that place is stronger than yours."

Cian’s response caused Sol to become confused, but he had no time to ponder on it for now.

His Fist Intent blazed to life causing the void around him to tremble, Cian’s aura similar soar before the two charged at each other in a final clash.

Fist clenched; Sol struck out with all of his strength gathered into this attack. With a loud bang, his fist met Cian’s own, and a blinding light shone out that covered the entire domain and hid their figures.

In the outside world, in front of Sol’s small stone house, a black orb that was around a meter in diameter was floating a few inches off the ground.

It had been there for the last two hours or so, and between that time it would tremble intensely a few times. Sometimes the tremble lasted a few seconds while some lasted a minute or two.

This time, however, the trembling lasted for nearly half an hour before cracks started to appear on the orb’s smooth, glossy surface.

This continued until the entire surface of the orb had cracks covering it. Then, a green light started to seep through the cracks.

The green light’s intensity increased, and dense Wood Aether Energy could be felt.

The ground beneath this orb had even started to grow new grass.

The green light went on to spread out and cover the entire orb. and the few dozen meters in the surroundings. After reaching its peak, the light then started to dim.

What was revealed in that space was not the black orb, but two youths.

One was standing while the other was lying on the ground unconscious.

The one standing was topless and his pale skin as well as his lean muscles were exposed. If one looked closely, one would be able to faintly see a long scar running down the left side of his body.

This youth’s pants were in tatters and were barely covering his lower half, while his curly lion-mane hair was completely disheveled.

But despite that, the youth looked relatively fine.

He was wearing a curious expression as he observed the unconscious on the ground.

The unconscious youth had golden hair and wore clothes that would make him stand out as being something not from this Continent.

His face was as pale as paper, and it seemed like all the strength had left his body. If it wasn’t for his chest rising up and down, one would have thought he was dead. And even then, the rising of his chest was barely noticeable.

After some time, the youth standing over him crouched down and placed a palm on the unconscious youth’s chest. His hand started to glow while an apprehensive expression lingered on his face.

After a moment, the complexion of the unconscious youth seemed to get better, and his chest was rising up and down more noticeably.

Seeing this, the apprehensive youth released a sigh of relief before withdrawing his hand.

"I thought I would have killed him if I tried to heal him with Wood Aether Energy but turns out it can work as long as I don’t purposely try to mix my Aether Energy with his Holy Energy. This is good to know."

After saying this, Sol looked at Cian before reaching out and left him up. He then slung him over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes before glancing at his small stone house.

"Ah, there’s no space in here, and I prefer to do this in my other courtyard too."

After deciding that, Sol took a step and vanished. He used his Heavenly Steps to quickly head towards his larger courtyard.
