Sol blinked.

’What just happened? Was she acting all along, or was it something else I said?’

Sol’s mind, spun and soon, he zeroed in on what might have caused Mar-Yue to blush.

Eyes shining, Sol said.

"Mar-Yue, you know that I love you, right?"

Mar-Yue paused then nodded her head, though she didn’t look up.

"I love you a lot, more than anything. I’m glad you’re my girlfriend. And as my girlfriend, I’ll make sure you’re always happy, okay?"

Mar-Yue became extremely quiet, but she still nodded her head.

When Sol saw that the glow in his eyes increased, and he didn’t hesitate to be launched into a torrential downpour.

Going as far as professing his undying love for Mar-Yue by claiming he would walk across a sea of knives for her, and that he would asunder the Nine Heavens if anyone ever dared lay a hand on her.

Sol would make sure to throw in the word ’girlfriend’ as much as he could as well.

He was really going all out, so much so that even he started to get embarrassed by the cheesy lines he was coming up with.

But by the end of his confessions and promises, Mar-Yue was deathly quiet, and it seemed like she wanted to crawl into a hole and disappear.

"Mar-Yue, in the future, when the time is right, I’ll ask your father for your hand in marriage and you’ll no longer be my girlfriend, but my wif-"

Before Sol could cause a fatality, Mar-Yue reached up and covered his mouth.

"You-Stop already."

As Mar-Yue covered his mouth, Sol had a clear view of her face, and it was a deep shade of red.

Biting her lip, Mar-Yue looked at Sol and asked softly.

"Do you really mean all of that?"

Sol didn’t know why, but seeing Mar-Yue this embarrassed caused his heart to start beating a little faster. Especially feeling her soft hands covering his mouth.

He had never seen her like this, and it made him a bit... excited.

Sol nodded and gave a muffled reply.

Mar-Yue removed her hands from his mouth.

The two silently leaned closer to kiss, however, Mar-Yue paused and suddenly looked down.

Eyes widening, she released a cry of alarm.

"Kyaaa!"

Mar-Yue then took a step back and pointed nervously.

"Is-Is it normal for it to grow like that?"

Sol looked down and was slightly flustered.

He had gotten too excited.

Suddenly turning to look at the path leading toward the public baths, Sol panicked.

"No-I..."

Sol took out a pair of pants from his storage ring to quickly wear while he tried to explain, but he wasn’t fast enough.

Two figures suddenly appeared on the path ahead.

Mar-Yue and Sol looked over to see that it was Mar-Dule and Yoon-Jae.

It was obvious they had rushed over here judging by the fact that they were still dripping wet with water and were only wearing a pair of pants.

Both of them had instinctively rushed to this location and didn’t even have time to send out their Soul Energy. So, Mar-Dule and Yoon-Jae were stunned to see the scene in front of them.

Currently, Sol had his pants halfway down while Mar-Yue was standing some distance away with a flushed face and a nervous expression.

Mar-Dule’s eyes went wide but he soon turned to glare at Sol, his body trembling uncontrollably.

"You. Bastard."

Mar-Dule enunciated the words slowly through gritted teeth.

"W-Wait, Mar-Dule, it’s not what you think!"

Sol instinctively lifted his hands to wave them as he tried to explain himself, but he had to stop and hurriedly pull his loose pants up.

Yoon-Jae immediately turned his head to the side to look away, while Mar-Dule’s eyes became bloodshot.

"Sol, you fucking bastard! What did say before?!!"

BANG!!!

A monstrous aura erupted from Mar-Dule as he unleashed his Sky Expanse cultivation base.

Winds howled and the trees in the surroundings swayed violently as if they were on the verge of toppling over.

Yoon-Jae who was next to him was forced to retreat due to the shockwave.

When Sol felt the force of Mar-Dule’s cultivation slam into him, his breath hitched in his throat for a moment.

He realized Mar-Dule wasn’t holding anything back.

Sol tried to say, but Mar-Dule ignored him and with bloodshot eyes, he shot towards Sol.

With black Metal Aether Energy swirling around him, Mar-Dule resemble a streak of black heavenly lightning that was descending from the dome of heaven to dish out wrathful Divine Punishment.

In just the blink of an eye, Mar-Dule used his Sky Expanse Realm speed to appear in front of Sol and ruthlessly sent out a punch towards his head.

Sol’s pupils constricted and a sense of deadly crisis washed over him.

Without hesitation, he shifted his head to the side and dodged Mar-Dule’s fist.

However, the force of the fist batted against the side of his face. The earthshattering boom that resulted from the punch also caused Sol’s left ear to ring ceaselessly and almost burst.

Mar-Dule’s punch rocketed past Sol and obliterated the trees in the forest nearby.

As Sol back peddled in retreat, he glanced at the destruction Mar-Dule’s fist caused and his breathing quickened when he saw a massive trail about three hundred meters long and several dozen meters wide.

That wasn’t done by any Martial Skill but by Mar-Dule’s Fleshly Body alone. Still, that attack was enough to crush normal Sky Expanse Realm cultivators, and absolutely obliterate an Earth Expanse Realm cultivator.

Sol was nervous, but not due to a lack of confidence in fighting Mar-Dule. Rather, it was because Mar-Dule looked like he had actually planned on obliterating Sol’s head like watermelon with that punch.

"Mar-Dule, no, brother-in-law, I swear this is just a misunderstanding."

Sol said as he back away while keeping his loose pants around his waist.

However, Mar-Dule seemed to become more enraged upon hearing Sol call him brother-in-law.

With a roar that sounded like it came from a beast, Mar-Dule charged towards Sol.

Numerous explosions echoed out as Mar-Dule wildly sent out attacks while Sol dodged them.

As the sun rose, people from the Barbarian Tribe started heading in this direction, only to stop and look on in shock at what was happening.

However, they quickly began cheering upon realizing who the two fighting were, thinking this was a simple spar.
