Chapter 333- Realm Of Mourning Slaughter
Chapter 333: Chapter 333- Realm Of Mourning Slaughter
After Sol ’died’ his consciousness lingered in his past self’s soul for a bit before his vision went black, but soon scenes of a world filled with stars appeared before him.
He hadn’t left the realm of memories, rather his perspective of the person in these memories changed. But unlike the first time when he felt like he was actually experiencing his past self’s death, he didn’t have the same connection with his person.
However, with that said, he could sense this person’s emotions extremely clearly.
Anger, nervousness, fear, and even a hint of madness.
Despite Sol not having the same connection he had the first time, compared to the other times he had memories, his senses towards the emotions from these memories were stronger. As if the experiences before he died heightened the connection he had to these memories and the emotions he felt.
In this world of stars, a figure in the form of a Mortal Human flew as fast as he could. The stars in the surroundings became nothing but colorful streaks of light.
After passing a few planets and even a few solar systems with his unimaginable speed, this person reached the center of this Realm. There, floating in space, lay a piece of land that stretched for several hundred light years.
This piece of land would have looked like a majestic continent if not for the destroyed palaces and massive craters on it.
Even a portion of this land mass was cracked and broken off. If not for the gravitational field surrounding this continent, this chunk of rock would have drifted off into deep space.
Sol was seeing this image from this person’s perspective, and he recognized it to be where he was in his previous memories.
Without much thought, he knew whose perspective these memories were from. Especially when he felt the emotions of this person flaring up the moment he saw the state of this continent.
It was his father.
With a deafening swoosh, Han Min’s figure vanished and with blinding speed, he appeared above the garden where his son and wife were supposed to be.
However, the moment he appeared, his body trembled from head to toe.
The image of a large woman holding a golden light in her embrace while surrounded by slightly smaller figures that were bloody corpses could be seen.
With one glance Han Min knew these people were from the Giant Race under his father’s command.
But his attention was currently drawn to the golden light in his wife’s hands. When he sensed the spiritual fluctuations from it and his son nowhere to be found, his eyes turned crimson, and his body trembled even harder.
"AHHHH!!!"
Unable to control his utter rage, a murderous roar escaped Han Min’s lips and thundered across this continent before eventually going on to spread across this entire Realm.
Mortal humans along with other strange beings on the various planets in this realm, who were escaping, paused when they heard this roar. They immediately recognized it to be their Realm Lord’s furious roar.
He was back, but this didn’t diminish the fear and uncertainty in their hearts. They only felt more bitter as they rushed to leave this Realm that they had called home since their birth.
On the massive Continent, a terrifying Killing Intent swept out from Han Min accompanied by a ripple filled with Godly Might.
This ripple spread out and shredded the corpses of the Giant Race into nothingness. Though as it swept over Zia holding onto the golden light, it didn’t affect either.
Sol could feel the murderous emotions of his father; however, he could also sense helplessness. A sort of helplessness one would feel when they were wronged but were powerless to do anything about it.
Han Min retracted his Killing Intent, but it still lingered around his body. However, when his eyes landed on his wife, it softened.
As he quickly floated over to her, his body started to regain its original size which was comparable to his wife’s.
However, the four black bracelets around his wrists and ankles shone with golden runic patterns as if to suppress his transformation.
There was even a burning sensation around his wrists and legs that seeped into his body before attacking his soul. However, Han Min ignored the sealing power of the bracelets, and he kept his transformation.
He reached his wife and knelt on the ground in front of her. He then reached up to hold her hands that contained their son’s soul. Though his hands were trembling as he did.
Zia finally looked up from her son’s soul and smiled at her husband. However, if one looked closely, they could see that her feet were starting to turn into golden specs of light, Heavenly Essence.
"After I create his physical body, it will be too weak to handle his Holy Crest and Enigma."
When Han Min heard that, his body trembled, and a look of reluctance appeared in his eyes as he gazed silently at his wife.
However, Zia said.
"This is the only way."
Han Min looked down at his son’s soul and gritted his teeth. The reluctance was replaced by determination as he looked back up at his wife and nodded resolutely.
Zia’s smile got wider as she looked back down at her son’s soul.
"Solly, Mother will make you a new body now, and although I won’t be able to see you grow up once more, I’ll always be watching over you."
After saying that, a Holy Crest tattoo of a sun appeared on Zia’s forehead and shone brightly along with her once dull golden hair and eyes.
She then uttered a single word.
"Creation."
The Laws in the surroundings trembled before rushing toward the ground between her and Han Min.
The dirt on the ground then started to rise before swirling and coalescing into a newborn baby.
However, compared to Zai and Han Min, this baby was incredibly tiny.
It was a Mortal baby, though there was something odd about it. It was as if it was missing something.
After creating this Mortal child, Zia’s golden pupil and hair lost their brightness and became even duller than before. Black strands even appeared in her hair.
At the same time, her Divinity that was slowly fading away was completely gone, eaten away by the Empyrean Law that had been slowly encroaching within her.
She did not have the authority to create life, so doing so came with a price. Perhaps she could have bored the price if she hadn’t broken an Empyrean Rule by saving her son’s soul, but there was no point in thinking about ifs at this point.
Zia carefully placed her son’s soul into her husband’s hands, as if entrusting him with the world. She then gave him one last look and a smile before her body fully turned into golden specs of light.
However, before her Heavenly Essence could fade, it started to swirl rapidly, and soon, a blinding sun appeared within it.
When this sun appeared, it caused all the suns within the Realm of Gods as well as the Realm of Mortals to tremble. They were mourning what was about to come.
Han Min also had a sad expression on his face.
If Zia had died like this, then her physical manifestation would have scattered and meld with the existing suns as well as the ones that will exist in the future. And perhaps after many, many, many years, she might be deemed worthy enough to regain her physical form.
However, what Zia was doing now destroyed the chance of this happening.
But Han Min couldn’t say anything to dissuade her because if it was him, then he would have done the same thing for their son.
After this sun appeared, it slowly floated down and melded with the golden ball of light in Han Min’s palms.
The remaining swirling golden specs of light come to a sudden stop before dissipating.
Han Min’s body shook, and grief filled his entire being.
Killing Intent unintentionally sprang from him and with him and the unaffected Mortal Baby as the center, it spread out to cover the entire continent. It was so thick a red haze slowly gathered and shrouded the continent. Ripples also appeared and spread out into the void beyond the continent.
This Killing Intent was the Killing Intent from a Godly entity, even the various Races and existences within this Realm felt it.
But rather than feeling fear, they too started releasing Killing Intent.
Not long after, the numerous planets, the numerous solar systems, the numerous galaxies, the entire Realm itself was coated with Killing Intent.
This type of Killing Intent was the type that will never fade away, it would linger throughout eons as if to mark this day in the flow of time.
This Realm would go on to be known as the Realm of Mourning Slaughter, and even Godly beings would fear venturing inside. But strangely, the original inhabitants of this Realm would be unaffected by this Killing Intent.
The moment Han Min released his Killing Intent, Sol who had been observing everything through his father’s eyes and experiencing his emotions, reached a sort of limit and was thrust out of the realm of memories.
