Chapter 326: Chapter 326- Ah, I Was Just Checking, Bastard Yoon-Jae
As Mar-Dule was having these thoughts, he recalled the Blacksmith Legacy they’d regained.
"We just need time to grow, until then, we need to try and not draw attention to ourselves."
Mar-Dule muttered under his breath, however, his and Hua-Yin’s scandalous affair sprang into his mind, and it made him sigh.
"We need to keep our relationship secret, if anyone who has bad intentions finds out then who knows what might happen."
Mar-Dule’s continued to think about this matter and a few other things as the boat made its way across the Eternal Desert.
During these four days, he would eat when he felt like it and take a quick nap when he got tired of stressing over his situation.
Early on the fourth day, he made it to his Bloodline Tribe. However, Mar-Dule didn’t get up to stop the boat. He allowed it to pass over his Bloodline Tribe and head for the Desert Forest.
"Hm?"
Mar-Dule suddenly sensed someone land on the boat, but after realizing who it was he ignored the person.
A few minutes later Mar-Dule didn’t even have to look to know that he was nearing the Desert Forest.
The balance of the six elements was extending outward from the Desert Forest and he could sense it.
The Eternal Desert was slowly healing and returning to normal.
"Damn fatty, go and take a bath."
A voice suddenly said in annoyance.
Mar-Dule sat up and glared at Yoon-Jae who was casually standing some distance away.
"Huh? Are you trying to say that I stink?"
It had been a few months since they’d last seen each other but the first thing Yoon-Jae did when they finally met was insult him? The nerve of this bastard!
Yoon-Jae was wearing the simple brown protective clothes of the Barbarian Tribe. After these past few months of seclusion in the Heat Zones, an inexplicable aura could be felt radiating from him.
He had broken through into the Spiritual Realm.
However, one big change was his appearance.
Maybe Mar-Dule was just imagining it, but he seemed more ordinary. He still had that devilish face that could bewitch anyone, but it wasn’t as noticeable as before if that made sense.
Mar-Dule just didn’t know how to describe the feeling.
Yoon-Jae almost wanted to roll his eyes at Mar-Dule being quick to become angry.
"Damn fatty, can’t you smell yourself? I smelled you the moment I boarded the ship, it smells like... like..."
Yoon-Jae’s voice suddenly trailed off, but after a moment he sneakered and looked at Mar-Dule with a strange look in his eyes.
Mar-Dule paused upon seeing this before slowly lefted his hand to sniff his forearm.
His face immediately crinkled, but...
’Ah, right.’
Mar-Dule thought to himself when he realized what this faint smell was. He suddenly looked at Yoon-Jae and grinned.
"Bastard Yoon-Jae, this is the smell of a real man!"
Mar-Dule then formed a hand seal to stop the boat over the hot springs.
Since it was so early, there wasn’t anyone there.
As the boat lowered, Yoon-Jae raised an eyebrow and asked.
"Oh? And who’s the unlucky girl?"
Mar-Dule hesitated for a moment but decided Yoon-Jae was one of the few people he could tell this massive secret to.
With pride radiating from his bones, Mar-Dule puffed out his chest and said.
"The Dark Fairy!"
Yoon-Jae frowned.
"The Dark Fairy?"
It took Yoon-Jae a while to realize Mar-Dule was actually talking about that Dark Fairy, but after he did, his face gained a stunned expression while he stared at Mar-Dule with disbelieving eyes.
However, Yoon-Jae immediately snorted and said derisively.
"You almost had me. I thought you were shameless before, but this is a new level of shamelessness I’ve never seen from you. The Dark Fairy and you? You and the Dark Fairy my foot!"
"Bastard! You think I’m lying?"
Mar-Dule was a bit angry; he went out of his way to tell Yoon-Jae this massive secret only for him to say he was lying?
Yoon-Jae waved his hands dismissively.
"Okay, okay, you can stop acting. I’m not a three-year-old that would believe you just got together with the number one female prodigy of our generation and potentially the most beautiful girl on the Continent."
Mar-Dule huffed and said.
"It’s the truth, why would I lie about something like this?"
Yoon-Jae looked at Mar-Dule with a pitiful expression and retorted.
"Probably to show off, but you shouldn’t go around telling such a lie."
"It’s not a lie! And I wouldn’t go revealing it to everyone I see. Hua-Yin and I wordless agreeded to keep our relationship a secret because of our respective powers. I’ve only told you because we’re friends, just don’t go telling anyone yourself!"
Yoon-Jae paused and stared at Mar-Dule.
His words were said earnestly and there was even a bit of worry in his voice. However, Yoon-Jae shook his head.
"Hua-Yin? Did you just come up with that name just now?"
"Bastard, fine! Don’t believe me, I’ll just introduce you to her when we return to the Academy."
Thud.
The boat finally landed on the ground.
Yoon-Jae wore an amused expression as he disembarked the boat while saying.
"Mar-Dule, if you’re in a relationship with the Dark Fairy, then I, Yoon-Jae, will call you Big Brother for the rest of my life!"
Mar-Dule’s eyes suddenly shined with a blinding glow, and he leaped up before letting out a loud laugh. He then pointed at Yoon-Jae who was walking away from the boat and roared.
"Fine, you said it! And if I’m lying then I’ll call you grandfather for the rest of my life!"
When Yoon-Jae heard that his steps faltered. He turned around to look at Mar-Dule with surprise.
Mar-Dule gave Yoon-Jae a malicious grin before he leaped off the boat and placed it back into his storage ring.
Yoon-Jae stood there rooted to the ground, while suspicion started to rise in his heart.
’Don’t tell me this bastard was actually telling the truth?’
While the steam from the various craters spread into the surroundings, Mar-Dule walked over to Yoon-Jae who wore a hesitant expression.
Mar-Dule slapped his back making him stumble forward.
"Bastard Yoon-Jae, you can’t back out now!"
After regaining his balance, Yoon-Jae glared at Mar-Dule, but he started to have a bad feeling after seeing Mar-Dule’s confidence.
....
...
..
"How did Sol’s seclusion go?"
Mar-Dule turned to Yoon-Jae next to him and asked while the two stepped out of the steam.
While they headed for one of the large pools, Yoon-Jae shrugged and responded.
"I don’t know, I’ve lost contact with him three months ago. The message to meet today was the first message I received from him since then."
Hearing that, Mar-Dule paused and said.
"You don’t think something happened to him, right?"
Yoon-Jae shook his head.
"I doubt it, he has Little Abdu if something really went wrong. I wanted to check but I didn’t want to let my worry get to me and go over there to disturb him. I might even interrupt him when he’s at a crucial juncture."
Mar-Dule nodded.
It was highly likely Sol was just in deep concentration and couldn’t respond. However, he looked at Yoon-Jae and felt weird.
"Something’s different about you, but I don’t know what it is exactly."
"I figured you would notice. After I broke through into the Spiritual Realm, my two Innate Dharmas went through their first evolution. My Ice Phoenix Innate Dharma was always hard to control since I have the Ice Spirit Constitution that amplified its already strong power. But now, I think my Fire Phoenix has grown to a level after its evolution where it’s able to keep the Ice Phoenix in check. You must have a sense that change with your abnormal senses."
Mar-Dule thought for a moment and then shook his head.
"I sensed that as well, but rather I’m talking about your change in temperament."
The two stopped at the edge of the large pool that was radiating steam. It looked extremely welcoming.
Yoon-Jae turned his head to looked at Mar-Dule with a frowned.
"What do you mean?"
Mar-Dule glanced down at the towel wrapped around Yoon-Jae’s waist before looking back up at him and replied.
"You’ve definitely changed; you’ve become way more reserved. You didn’t suddenly turn into a girl, did you?"
"Huh???"
Yoon-Jae looked at Mar-Dule as if was looking at an idiot.
However, Mar-Dule’s hand suddenly shot out and pulled the towel from around Yoon-Jae’s waist.
Mar-Dule then glanced down, and after seeing what was supposed to be there was there, he nodded. However, when he looked up, he saw that Yoon-Jea’s expression had turned dark.
"Ah, I was just checking, bastard Yoon-Jae."
Mar-Dule tried to explain, but he immediately retreated when he felt a terrifying heatwave burst from Yoon-Jae’s body.
"Bastard, you-"
Yoon-Jae was about to curse at Mar-Dule, but he stopped, and his face became even gloomier than before when he saw Mar-Dule nonchalantly tossing his towel behind him.
"Bastard!"
Yoon-Jae yelled and then forcefully stomped down onto the ground with a bang.
Swoosh!
The Fire Aether Energy in the surroundings was suddenly pulled towards his foot. In the next instant, crimson flames erupted from below his foot and rushed towards Mar-Dule.
Mar-Dule smiled that his provocation worked, but he was rather stunned by this attack.
Judging by the intensity of the flames, he estimated it to be as strong as an attack from a cultivator in the peak stages of the Earth Expanse Spiritual Realm.
’His one stomp conjured a Spell this strong? Looks like he’s reached a level of proficiency where any movement of his body can activate a Spell, how scary. No, wait!’
Mar-Dule’s eyes narrowed as he scrutinized the flames approaching him. His face then changed into an even more dumbfounded expression.
’This isn’t even a high-level Spell! It’s probably a common Spiritual Realm Spell that lets one conjure some flames. But in his hands, it’s become so terrifying!’
