The Growth of a Titan -
Chapter 325- I’m Not That Type Of Person
Chapter 325: Chapter 325- I’m Not That Type Of Person
Mar-Dule was desperate to deter Hua-Yin, so he resorted to their age difference.
"Wait, wait. Aren’t you being too shameless going after your junior? What would people think?"
"There is at most a year and a half age difference between us, what’s that compared to how long cultivators like us who seek Immortality can live?"
With that shot down, Mar-Dule had no more defenses against this girl.
Hua-Yin smiled as she leaned forward and kissed Mar-Dule.
But rather than pushing her away, Mar-Dule instead drew her closer.
It would have been fine if it hadn’t reached here, but since it reached this point of no return, his sense of reason left the room.
"Umph..."
Mar-Dule felt his short hair being tugged by Hua-Yin. No doubt a few strands had been pulled out.
But that stinging sensation was quickly drowned out by the feeling of Hua-Yin’s lips. However, that sensation suddenly left him as he was pushed by her backward.
Mar-Dule fell onto his bed.
Without him realizing Hua-Yin had led them over here.
At this moment, Mar-Dule’s head cleared up somewhat and he started to get worried when Hua-Yin sat on his lap and took off her outer robe.
"Ah, wait-wait. This... Are we going to go all the way? Shouldn’t we get married first? Isn’t this going a bit too fast?"
Kissing was fine, but Mar-Dule had never expected Hua-Yin would think of going all the way with him. What happened to the saying girls were reserved and refined?
Wasn’t Hua-Yin from the Emei Sect? Didn’t she grow up being taught that she should save herself until the night of her marriage? This was too scandalous!
Mar-Dule trembled all the way down to his soul when he thought of the Sect Leader of the Emei Sect finding out about this.
However, Hua-Yin didn’t give him time to think deeply as she slowly came closer with her robes completely disheveled.
She eyed Mar-Dule like she was eyeing a piece of meat.
Gone were the timid and bashful emotions she showed previously. Whether they were an act or not Mar-Dule didn’t know, but right now Hua-Yin was a completely different person.
However, Mar-Dule suddenly saw something in Hua-Yin’s eyes that she was trying to hide.
It was nervousness.
She was actually nervous.
Mar-Dule sighed in his heart and decided to stop Hua-Yin.
"Hua-Yin, you-"
However, as he reached out to stop this girl before she did something she would regret, his hand was caught and pinned above his head.
"Ah..."
Mar-Dule stared blankly at Hua-Yin as her eyes flashed with determination before she leaned forward to kiss him.
Mar-Dule lifted his other hand to stop her, but after a slight pause, his fear of what would come after today completely disappeared and he lowered back his hand.
At this moment, the sun on the horizon started to set, ending the day and ushing in the night.
....
...
..
The next day...
Mar-Dule slowly cracked opened his eyes but had to wait until they had adjusted to the light coming through his window to fully open them.
His mind was slightly groggy, but a second later the events of lasr night flooded into his head. His head suddenly snapped to his left and he came face to face with a rather beautiful girl.
This girl was wrapped up in the white sheets of his bed, but from this angle, he could faintly see underneath the sheets to notice that she had no clothes on.
Mar-Dule suddenly sat up, and his heart rapidly pound like a drum in his chest from nervousness.
He suddenly grabbed his head and pulled on his hair.
"Ah, fuck, now I’ve done it. Mar-Dule just what the hell have you done? I’m dead, I’m dead! If anyone finds out about this then the Emei Sect is going to send assassins from the Shadow Sect to murder me! Aye, how could I let this happen?"
As Mar-Dule was cursing himself and panicking, Hua-Yin had woken up to hear about half of it.
She suddenly reached out and tugged on Mar-Dule’s hand to get his attention.
"Ah, I’m sorry, did I wake you?"
Mar-Dule said apologetically as he turned to Hua-Yin, who barely had her eyes open.
"This is my decision as much as it’s yours, so I’ll take all the responsibility if Mother finds out. I won’t let you be killed either, if that happens then I wouldn’t be able to live with myself. But... You’ll take responsibility for me too, right?"
Hua-Yin’s expression was filled with nervousness as she looked at Mar-Dule.
However, Mar-Dule immediately nodded and reassured.
"Of course I will, we’ve already... uhm... I’m not that type of person."
Hua-Yin smiled at that, and Mar-Dule returned her smile. However, Mar-Dule couldn’t help but sigh and say.
"But you did this on purpose didn’t you?"
Hua-Yin’s smile got wider.
"My Mother has never refused to give me anything I’ve requested, so I’ve grown spoiled. Now if I see something I want I’m determined to get it no matter the cost."
Mar-Dule felt his heart flutter for third time upon hearing that.
This Hua-Yin was extremely intelligent, so he really didn’t know how much of her actions yesterday was an act. But now that she no longer had her chastity because of him, what can he do?
Mar-Dule didn’t know what was going to happen in the future, but he knew if Hua-Yin hadn’t been so persistent he wouldn’t have dared pursue a relationship with her.
Perhaps that was one of the reasons why she was so determined in the first place.
Mar-Dule looked at Hua-Yin and paused. After a moment, he leaned over and kissed her before saying.
"I need to leave for the Eternal Desert."
After saying that, Mar-Dule flipped over the covers and got up to dress.
Hua-Yin got up as well and sat at the side of the bed while covering herself with the white bedsheets.
She looked at Mar-Dule getting dressed and asked in surprise.
"You weren’t lying before?"
Mar-Dule wanted to laugh. He shook his head and said.
"Sol sent me a message that he’s coming out of seclusion in five days. Well, four days now. If I hurry, I might be able to catch him when he exits."
Mar-Dule finished wearing a new set of robes and looked at Hua-Yin with a hesitant expression.
Hua-Yin smiled and said.
"Don’t worry, you can go."
A look of worry along with a slight blush appeared on Mar-Dule’s face as he asked.
"Are you... ah, okay?"
Hua-Yin blushed as well but nodded and said.
"Yes, you were gentle."
Mar-Dule’s face turned beet red.
"I... Uh, I’m leaving. I’ll visit you when I return."
Mar-Dule then hurriedly left his room and courtyard to head for the Eternal Desert.
Hua-Yin was left inside the room, and she glanced out the window to see the sunrise.
After a moment, the thought of leaving appeared in her mind, but she suddenly looked down at the sheet covering her.
After a slight pause, she lifted the sheet to her nose and smelled it.
The sheet had the smell from the night before, but more so Mar-Dule’s scent.
After a few breaths worth of time, Hua-Yin suddenly snapped out of her thoughts and blushed at her actions. However, she chose not to leave and instead went underneath the covers and shut her eyes to sleep a tad more.

After Mar-Dule left the Academy, he took out a high-grade flying Spirit Treasure that was almost at the level of becoming a Divine Artifact.
He leaped on and then stirred the three-meter boat in the direction of his Eternal Desert.
Of course, with his cultivation base at the Spiritual Realm, he had the option to fly to his destination. However, it would be uncomfortable flying for four days straight. Additionally, it had only been around four months since he became a Spiritual Realm cultivator.
With the fact that he had jumped over the Earth Expanse Realm and entered the Sky Expanse Realm, he lacked experience and was still in the process of familiarizing himself with the power he currently had.
Plus, this high-grade Spirit Treasure was a bit faster than his flying speed.
Mar-Dule set out when the sun was just rising, by the time he reached the Eternal Desert it was about to set.
Mar-Dule was casually lying on his back as the flying boat was perpetually on autopilot.
Now that he was a Spiritual Realm cultivator, he didn’t need to worry about passing through the Eternal Desert during the day or night. He didn’t even bother changing his causal robes for protective robes.
However, the heat in the Eternal Desert was becoming less of a problem ever since Sol had extinguished those flames.
Over the past four months, a lot of rumors were floating around the Eternal Desert as to why the heat was lessening, but the overall sentiment that people had was that it was a blessing.
As for those outside of the Eternal Desert, they were slightly apprehensive of the Barbarian Race being able to unite their forces. After all, the Barbarian Race might be the weakest of the three races, having only a single cultivator in the Heavenly Realm, but their numbers were easily twice the number of people Jianghu and the Land of Shadows had... combined.
