Chapter 298- Little Abdu’s Anger

Chapter 298: Chapter 298- Little Abdu’s Anger

The sun was about to rise, signally that the Martial Arts training session would be over, and Sol should begin his Runic Techniques training. However, Sol blocked out all distractions and remained seated like this.

One hour later...

Five hours later...

Half a day later...

One day later...

Sol had sat in this position for one whole day with his eyes closed.

The only thing in his mind was the image of a figure on a throne. His face was obscured by a fog. As he casually rested his chin on his fist, an aloof and cold aura radiated from him. This aloof and coldness seemed as if it was coming from his very bones.

Arrogant beyond extreme, a person like this viewed all living beings under Heaven as nothing more than ants.

But his domineering and almost tyrannical aura would force anyone to bow down before him.

As Sol recalled the memory of this man his father had been talking to in the large hall in detail, his aura started to change over the course of the day. Slowly but surely, Sol’s aura was transforming into this man’s own.

By the next morning, Abdu was looking at Sol with confusion. It seemed like he had transformed into a completely different person.

However, despite his worry, Abdu was afraid if he interrupted Sol now it would ruin all his efforts.

So, Abdu could only watch as this aura went on to completely encapsulate Sol.

After this happened, Sol suddenly opened his eyes. An extreme level of stillness could be seen in his pupils as he gazed upon Heaven and Earth.

However, this stillness came from a place of complete disregard for anything and everyone under Heaven. He was above the Heavens so why should he care?

Sol’s expression was aloof as he slowly stood up. He fixed his gaze forward and casually threw out a punch.

Heaven and Earth shook violently as a blood-red fist encapsulated the world. Even though the power was nowhere near the previous fist, the domineering and forceful aura radiating from this attack was beyond anything before. No, rather it was even more than when Sol had taken off his bracelets and used the original Heavenly Domain Fist.

As the blood-red fist projection shot out, there was no loud explosion. The void merely twisted and distorted, along with the trees that were around one hundred and fifty meters away.

When the attack eventually lost momentum, its effects still lingered in the area.

In this space, the Aether Energy and the Worldly Laws were thrown into chaos along with Heaven and Earth.

Abdu had his mouth agape when he witnessed this scene.

’This is the power of a Transcendent!’

Transcendents were cultivators who failed to become Immortals, but they were existences that could disrupt Heaven and Earth with a casual wave of their hand.

Sol’s fist strike just now wasn’t exactly on par with the strength a Transcendent could unleash, or else this entire dimension would have been destroyed. However, it touched upon a level of power that was unique to those supreme cultivators.

While Abud was reeling back from shock, he suddenly saw Sol sway.

He panicked.

"Sol!"

He rushed over to Sol, however, after Sol steadied himself, he turned to the voice calling for him.

When that pair of still pupils landed on Abdu, his entire body stiffened and all the hairs on his back stood up.

He stopped advancing forward and instead shakily took a step back from Sol. If he didn’t take that step back, he felt as if he would be forced to lie on the ground and prostrate in front of Sol.

Abdu didn’t feel like this person looking at him was Sol, but rather an unfathomable being capable of deciding his life and death with a mere thought.

Abdu had never felt so insignificant in his life, even when facing Immortals of the past. His cultivation at the Transcendent level felt like it meant nothing when standing in front of Sol.

But this was merely a feeling due to the aura Sol was radiating. Sol wasn’t that powerful, Abdu knew this, but he couldn’t bring himself to step forward. He instead took another step back and looked at Sol with fearful eyes.

He truly felt like he was going to die.

Sol met Abdu’s gaze, and seeing the fearful look in his eyes, his aloof expression changed. He immediately retracted his Willpower which resulted in the strange aura around him disappearing.

Sol returned to normal as he rushed towards Abdu with an anxious expression.

"Little Abdu, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to scare you."

Sol reached Abdu and knelt in front of him. He went to hold him and comfort him, but Abdu flinched back.

Upon seeing this, Sol immediately retracted his hands and bit down hard on his lip. He almost burst into tears right there and then.

"I’m sorry, don’t be scared."

Sol managed to say without sobbing.

Abdu soon recovered from his fearful state and looked up at Sol with anger in his eyes. Suddenly, Death Energy surrounded his body and he transformed into his human appearance.

Abdu stood over Sol who was still knelt, but Sol didn’t dare get up or raise his head.

Abdu expression was frosty as he glared down at Sol. Suddenly, he lifted his hand and slapped Sol over the head.

The sound was loud and resounding. Abdu held back just enough to not injure Sol but placed just enough power in his hand to make him feel a sting from the slap.

Sol didn’t react and accepted the slap.

Abdu then said throw gritted teeth.

"Do you have any idea how frightened I was just now?"

Slap!

Abdu suddenly slapped Sol over the head again.

"I have no knowledge of that crescent moon, so I’ve always been suspicious of its origins. Just now, I thought that a God who branded you with it had somehow taken over your body!"

Slap!

"At that moment I was scared for my life, but what was more alarming than that was I thought that God had erased your soul after taking over your body! How will I be able to save you? Can I even save you? Those were the thoughts that ran through my head in that split second. I felt despair the likes of which I had never felt since I watched Su Jin kill himself. But rather than that being the reality, it was instead that you... Damn it! I don’t even know what you did! You fucking-"

Abdu suddenly stopped talking to slap Sol over the head for a fourth time.

Even now, the anxiety of losing Sol just like that still hadn’t completely gone. Just thinking back to what just happened caused Abdu’s heart rate to increase and dread to come over him.

Abdu went to slap Sol again, but he stopped himself and glared down at him.

"Stand up."

Abdu growled and Sol silently got up. The feeling of guilt and regret he felt were intense, and he wouldn’t protest against any amount of slaps Abdu gave him because this wasn’t the first time he had done something so irresponsible.

However, after he got up, Abdu suddenly stepped forward and buried his head in Sol’s chest as he hugged him.

Sol paused but only for a moment before he patted Abdu’s head.

"I’m sorry I scared you, Little Abdu."

Abdu said nothing and only continued to hug Sol.

Sol patted Abdu’s head repeatedly as if to comfort him and the two stayed like that.
