Chapter 291: Chapter 291- Constructing An Immortal Cave!
Mar-Dule was surprised to hear that Sol was entering seclusion with him here, meanwhile, Sol glanced at Mar-Du and said.
"I hope that isn’t a problem Senior Mar-Du."
"This place could be considered a Treasured Cultivation Grounds similar to the Desert Forest outside, so it’s the perfect place to enter seclusion."
Mar-Yue turned to Sol.
"You’re entering seclusion?"
Sol scratched his cheek and said.
"Sorry I didn’t tell you before."
"I’m leaving!"
Mar-Dule suddenly said, not wanting to see such a scene.
"Let’s see who can reach the Spiritual Realm first."
Mar-Dule lifted his fist as he said this, and Sol bumped fist with him as he nodded.
"I’ll obviously win, but you can try and catch up."
"Ha! We’ll see!"
Mar-Dule then turned around and sped towards the stone temple, a burst of determination welling up in his heart as he did.
Mar-Du nodded in satisfaction when he saw this, but he suddenly yelled at Mar-Dule.
"Don’t rush things and remember to stabilize your foundation each time you open an acupoint!"
Mar-Dule didn’t seem to hear his Father as he quickly rushed into the stone temple and closed the door behind him.
Mar-Du felt worried in his heart, but he could only sigh. Afterward, he picked up Mar-Yue and Sol before taking a step.
After reaching the mountain nearby, Mar-Du placed the couple down before he disappeared to give them some privacy.
"How long are you planning on entering seclusion?"
Mar-Yue asked, and Sol had a thoughtful look overcome his face before he said after a moment.
"If I solely focus on cultivation, I might be able to open all the acupoints in my four limbs in a few months. However, I’m planning on opening the ones in my torso which will take some time. I also want to train my Martial Arts to a sufficient level for the tournament, as well as practice my Alchemy. So, I don’t know how long I’ll be in here."
Mar-Yue silently listened to Sol before nodding after he finished.
"It’s dangerous to open the acupoints in your torso so don’t rush opening them. Also, I can get my father to give you some medicinal plants if you need any."
Sol smiled and nodded.
Mar-Yue looked at Sol’s smiling expression, and she raised her hands to sweep back his bangs.
"You have to find time to cut your hair as well, I don’t like that I can’t see your face."
Sol nodded once again.
Suddenly, Mar-Yue sighed and said dejectedly.
"I would like to stay here as well, but after what happened during the Coming-of-Age Ceremony Father and the Elders would probably like to check on my bloodline to see if everything is fine. Also, I’m reaching the point of opening my Mortal Palace and entering the Spiritual Realm, so I have to go into seclusion as well."
"It’s okay, we’ll see each other soon."
Hearing this Mar-Yue frowned and said.
"How is it okay? We just got together but now we’re separating. What if some other boy falls for me when you’re in seclusion?"
"Huh? Is there anyone else more handsome than me out there? I’m pretty confident in my talents to not lose to anyone as well."
Sol said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"How shameless."
Mar-Yue said, but she was chortling quite a bit. However, she suddenly said.
"What if it’s someone like Byeong-Ho or those rich Young Masters from the Holy Sects and Clans?"
Sol paused, then said.
"Brother Beyond-Ho only has eyes for his sword. As for those Young Masters, I can just beat them up if they have any thoughts about approaching you."
Mar-Yue smiled and added.
"And if it’s someone from the Western Region? I’m confident they would have at least one person as talented as Byeong-Ho in our generation. He might even have a stronger cultivation than either of you."
Upon hearing this, an unruly expression suddenly appeared on Sol’s face as he spat.
"If there is such a person trying to take you away from me then I’ll just secretly corner him in the Academy and break his legs!"
Mar-Yue paused and looked at Sol with a dumbfounded expression. However, she suddenly burst out laughing at the image of Sol secretly jumping someone with a club.
"Are you a ruffian from the streets? Where is your pride as a Martial Artist?"
"I would have lost any I had when he had thoughts of you."
Sol’s expression was still serious, but Mar-Yue couldn’t help but have a giggling fit.
Sol’s expression soon turned to a wide smile as he looked at Mar-Yue. Suddenly, he held Mar-Yue’s waist before leaning forward to kiss her, but Mar-Yue suddenly leaned back; a mischievous grin on her face.
However, after leaning back, Mar-Yue kept Sol’s bangs up and leaned forward. But before she could kiss Sol, the sound of someone loudly clearing their throat echoed from behind.
"Sorry to interrupt, but it’s time to leave."
Mar-Yue immediately turned and glared at her Father who had conveniently returned at a time like this.
But Mar-Du looked at her and said seriously.
"Mar-Yue, you should understand that this seclusion is important to Sol so he can’t have distractions at a time like this."
Mar-Yue paused when she heard that but she felt Sol kiss her cheek and whisper.
"It’s okay, I’ll try to return within half a year."
Mar-Yue suddenly shook her head.
"No, if you feel like half a year isn’t enough then don’t feel obligated to leave."
Sol smiled and nodded. Mar-Yue then turned to leave with her Father.
Before he left, Mar-Du sent him a message through his Soul Energy.
’Listen here brat, I might have approved of your relationship with my daughter while being extremely grateful for your help, but there is a limit to things. It’s way too early for you to be thinking of such things.’
Sol managed to glimpse the look of warning on Mar-Du’s face as he disappeared with Mar-Yue on his back.
Sol smiled embarrassingly as he scratched his cheek.
"But I’ve never had such thoughts in the first place. I’m not a pervert like Master... I’m really not."
However, despite saying that, Mar-Du’s words had inadvertently got him thinking of those things, and Sol’s face turned red.
Now he wondered if Mar-Yue was thinking of similar things, but Sol could never tell if she was. He had never seen her get embarrassed or flustered during their interactions, so maybe he was the only one overthinking things again.
’Hm, I’d like to see her blush or get flustered at least once.’
Suddenly, Sol began absently-mindedly thinking of ways to get Mar-Yue to blush after leaving seclusion.
"Aya, what am I busy thinking about? I should focus on entering seclusion!"
Sol soon snapped out of his perverted thoughts before he started looking around the mountain.
He needed to find a suitable place to enter seclusion. After thinking for a moment, Sol thought a cave should suffice.
Now that he thought about it, those books his Master gave him spoke about Immortals entering seclusion in their Immortal Caves for years on end.
Sol couldn’t help but feel excited at the mere thought of mimicking those ancient Immortals.
Soon enough, sounds of explosion rang out on this lone mountain as Sol enthusiastically started constructing his own Immortal Cave!
