The Growth of a Titan
Chapter 265- Mar-Dule’s Eldest Sister

Chapter 265: Chapter 265- Mar-Dule’s Eldest Sister

It was deep into the night and the Festival was in full swing. Everyone was singing and dancing, but due to the intoxication of everyone, the singing was merely slurred shouting, and the dancing wasn’t really that but people stumbling about.

Despite that, the atmosphere was filled with excitement, and this was seen and heard from all the youths smiling and laughing. It was during this excitement that Mar-Dule welcomed his many sisters, whom he jubilantly introduced to Yoon-Jae and Sol.

He also officially introduced his family members the two had already met in the Tribe but didn’t know the names of yet. Because of this, Sol found out the youth he had spoken to at the tent was named Mar-Tai.

Sol and Yoon-Jae happily greeted all of Mar-Dule’s sisters as he introduced them. However, when he started introducing everyone else, Sol soon gained a weary smile, while Yoon-Jae was just straight-up annoyed.

On the two hundred and eightieth family member, Yoon-Jae completely blocked out Mar-Dule’s introductions. There was no way he would even remember them anyway, so why bother?

After some time, Yoon-Jae was dragged away by a few girls, leaving Sol alone, who had been seated in the same seat since the start of the Festival. He was sipping on a cup of wine, while a mountain of plates was next to him. Needless to say, he had his fill with the sandworms’ meat. He was someone responsible for sharing his catch with the few adults and the children in the Tribe. So, he decided to hand over most of his sandworms to the excitement of the youths in the Tribe. With this, he sort of kept his promise to give Mar-Yue some of his catch, though it was indirectly.

As Sol sipped on his cup of wine, no one approached to converse with him.

There were a few people who approached and talked to him before, but whether it was his demeanor or aura, these youths could instinctively tell Sol wasn’t feeling well. This was added to the fact that there would be times he would stare off into the distance with a dazed look on his face. Due to this, they politely gave him some distance so he could feel a bit better.

Yoon-Jae had managed to slip away from the girls’ table for now, but not unscathed from their gummy hands. At this time, Mar-Dule came up to him and whispered.

"Is he still feeling down?"

Yoon-Jae glared at Mar-Dule.

"It’s probably because you insist on introducing your ridiculously large family to him."

Mar-Dule smiled sheepishly.

He had to admit he was too excited and had disregarded Sol’s feelings.

However, Yoon-Jae added.

"But you don’t have to walk on eggshells around him, the last thing Sol needs is pity. He rather not ruin the Festival because of his current mood."

"No, he wouldn’t ruin the Festival just because of that."

Mar-Dule turned to glance at Sol, a complicated expression on his face. It irked him that he couldn’t do something to get Sol out of his slump. The only thing he could do was to wait until it passed. Until then he just needed to be there as a friend for him.

Yoon-Jae felt the same way, and without saying anything the two agreed on this, which was a first for them.

Suddenly, the ground below them started to tremble. This caused everyone to stop and look into the distance.

All around the Tribe, some torches lit up the night. Overhead, the moonlight also added another layer of illumination.

From afar, the youths could see a large shadow loom over the horizon.

"Wha-What is that thing?"

One youth asked, but Mar-Dule’s eyes lit up as he yelled.

"It’s Eldest Sister!"

There was a pause before all the youths suddenly cheered loudly. From this, one could see how highly Mar-Dule’s Eldest Sister was viewed among the Tribe. She was also a legend in the Barbarian Race as a whole.

In every generation, there would be a set of geniuses from the Barbarians, the Arkadians, and the Sakrians that outshone everyone from their race. But the next step to that was becoming the number one genius of the Eastern Continent.

The period of a single generation varied, as the start of one was determined by a single outstanding figure appearing to kick-start another era of talents. But more often than not, a single generation lasts about a hundred years, a Mortal’s lifetime.

Throughout those hundred years, the title of number one genius in the Eastern Continent could switch between or within the three races due to the many outstanding geniuses that appeared.

However, every so often, there would be one genius that outshone everyone else in his or her generation.

In the previous generation, such a person existed, and that person was Mar-Dule’s Eldest Sister.

Now that Byeong-Ho had appeared, another generation had been kickstarted. And though Byeong-Ho’s dominance over his generation was far greater than Mar-Dule’s sister’s own, her talent was still fresh in every member of the Barbarian Race’s minds.

Now that time had passed, aside from Mar-Du and the elders of the tribe, she was the strongest warrior of their Bloodline Tribe and a powerhouse of the Barbarian Race as a whole.

However, one should know that her beauty was equally talked about as her talents. She had many suitors in her Barbarian Race, but she chose to marry someone from the Land of Shadows.

As the cheers of the youths echoed in the Tribe, the looming shadow approached, and it was revealed to be a sandworm. It was about three to four times the size of the Sand King. Its scales were pure white, and there were two horns on its head with both having intricate ruins covering them.

All the youths rush from the center of the Tribe to the entrance to observe this monstrous beast.

However, upon closer look, they could see that some of its scales were broken while blood coated their white surface. One of its horns was broken as well.

Mar-Dule and Mar-Yue were in front of the crowd. Around them was Mar-El along with their sisters.

The sisters varied in age from late teens to mid-thirties. Each of them looked extremely beautiful in their own way. However, they all had one aesthetic, and it was their boyish demeanor.

Some younger ones had their hands folded behind their heads, while more mature ones had their arms folded in front of their chest.

In truth, while growing up Mar-Dule didn’t get the sense that he had thirty-one older sisters, but rather thirty-one older brothers.

Well, Mar-Yue had changed this. However, she wasn’t wearing a dress like before, but the plain brown protective clothes like everyone else.

As everyone was waiting, the sandworm suddenly lowered its head and a woman leaped down. She was comfortably carrying a little boy on her shoulders.

Sol, who was by the side with Yoon-Jae, closely observed this woman with curiosity. He had heard about her briefly from Yoon-Jae just now. As he looked at her, he thought she was beautiful. Almost as beautiful as Mar-Yue. However, she had a maturity that Mar-Yue lack.

She also had a motherly aura around her as well.

This slightly reminded Sol of his mother.

Sol then moved his gaze from the woman to the little boy on her shoulders. He looked to be around eight or nine.

However, something immediately caught his attention about this boy. He had a full moon on his forehead like Ushi.
