The young man’s heart started to beat wildly in his chest as he nodded and said.

"That’s Death Energy, that’s definitely Death Energy."

"Wah!"

After getting confirmation, all the Elders couldn’t help but let out a cry of surprise.

The young man clenched his fist.

’Finally, someone that cultivates Death Energy has appeared. And he’s with this child no less. Is this the Heavens’ way of telling us our Giant Race is destined to rise once more?’

One of the Elders suddenly cried out when he saw what was happening down below.

Sol’s Heavenly Domain Fist was extremely powerful, but this level of power was insufficient against the Sand King’s attack.

The Sand King’s flames were partially destroyed, but a good amount broke through and swept over Sol.

"AHH!"

Another Elder cried out and his cry was filled with regret, guilt, and rage.

"What a travesty! We were careless and became distracted by that cat who possessed Death Energy. How? How could we have let something like this happen? That child could have been the key to unlocking our Gaint Race’s bloodline!"

"That... That fucking worm dare used such a powerful attack against someone of our Barbarian Race? I knew we should have killed it when it was showing such arrogant behavior."

"Leave it to me, I’ll skin it alive."

One Elder said as he moved to fly towards the Sand King, however, the young man stopped him.

"Wait, First Elder, that child is fine."

The old man was taken aback upon hearing that.

"How can that be? Those flames are from that beast’s Fire Dragon bloodline. Even a Sky Expanse Spiritual Realm existence would have to be careful against that attack."

"Just watch."

The First Elder said no more, and he along with the others watched as the black flames died down.

When it did, they all saw Sol partially buried in the sand; shockingly he hadn’t been burnt to ashes.

"Ah! That’s–When did this child have Fire Aether Energy? Was it not the Wood Aether Energy?"

Sol was currently on his back while his body was engulfed by crimson flames. However, it quickly vanished before a soft green glow faintly appeared on his body.

Sol slowly got up and looked down at his arms.

Even though he used his Innate Dharma’s ability to manipulate Fire Aether Energy to block the flames, his arms were still completely scorched.

His Innate Dharma was working overtime to heal his burns.

Sol looked up at the Sand King and frowned.

"How was he able to know where I was?"

"It’s called the Sand King for a reason!"

Sol paused before he turned to see Mar-Yue approaching with Abdu.

"Wah! What are you doing? You can’t come any closer!"

Sol immediately started to panic and began waving his hands frantically to get Mar-Yue to stop.

What if that Sand King spit more of those flames?

Mar-Yue sported an amused smile when she saw Sol’s reaction. His actions when paired with his current appearance are too much of a contrast.

However, Mar-Yue stopped when she saw that Sol was really freaking out.

’How cute...’

Mar-Yue felt her arm twitch, but she ignored it for now and said.

"It wouldn’t dare attack me, so it’s fine. Rather it’s the sandstorm we should be worried about."

Hearing this, Sol turned to see that the Sand King was motionless as it stared at them. There was even hesitation in its eyes.

Sol then glanced behind it to see that the sandstorm was closing in, it was just over a thousand meters away.

"You can’t fight that worm as you are now, so it’s best to come back before the sandstorm arrives."

"How was it able to know where I was?"

Mar-Yue paused and looked at Sol who had his back to her.

After a while, she explained.

"Sandworms are beasts that move in groups, and they’re stronger together. This Sand King is no different. But to compensate for its individual strength, it honed its abilities to hunt alone. Along with its ability to mask its presence, it’s also able to detect the smallest of movements within the sand. If you want to defeat it, the only way is to do it from a distance. But again, you can’t with your current strength."

Sol’s eyes narrowed when he heard that.

"Thanks Mar-Yue!"

Sol said before he dashed head-first toward the Sand King.

Mar-Yue shook her head, but a smile unknowingly made its way onto her lips.

Abdu seeing this suddenly looked up at her and asked.

"Have you ever thought about marriage? My Master is a really good fit for you."

Mar-Yue suddenly blushed and said.

"Who, that brat? He’s-"

But she suddenly stopped talking and then looked down at Abdu to see that he was looking at her.

Mar-Yue resisted the urge to let out a shocked cry before she asked.

"You... know how to speak?"

She had no idea Abdu could speak, and it sent her mind swirling.

Meanwhile, Sol was closing in on the Sand King who had an excited gleam in its eyes.

After Sol had dared to crack its scales, there was no way it was going to let him live.

It didn’t matter if those demons were watching in the sky, once it killed this human boy it was going to escape in the sandstorm that was approaching.

With its ability to conceal its presence, the Sand King was confident it would be able to effortlessly escape.

The Sand King’s Killing Intent spiked as it prepared to kill Sol. However, the First Elder feeling its Killing Intent increasing had his eyes narrowe into slits.

"This damn thing. I was wondering how a worm with a bit of the Fire Dragon bloodline tasted, it looks like I’ll be able to know today."

"We’ll have its meat later, I want to see what that child is planning."

The First Elder nodded, and they all watched as Sol reached the two-hundred-meter mark.

The Sand King’s tail suddenly spurted from the ground and lashed out at him.

Instead of dodging, Sol looked like he had gone mad as he simply continued charging forward.

With a loud bang, the Sand King’s tail landed on the ground. However, it could feel that it failed to hit Sol.

It looked around trying to sense for any movement in the sand, but it felt nothing.
