Chapter 238- Hugging It Out

Chapter 238: Chapter 238- Hugging It Out

"What’s with that bastard? How dare he prank me? ME! Wait until I see him again, I’ll prank him alright. I’ll prank him by burning him to a crisp!"

"That’s not really a prank."

Yoon-Jae turned and glared at Sol.

They had already taken the teleportation to the Runes and Formation Mountain and were heading to Mar-Dule’s residence.

Having Yoon-Jae glare at him, Sol forced a smile and said.

"He’s Uncle Master’s disciple, so we should get along in the future."

Yoon-Jae snorted.

"You know what he was up to but said nothing."

"Haha, I thought it would be funny if you got a taste of your own medicine."

Yoon-Jae’s leg suddenly lashed out to kick Sol, but he quickly dodged the attack and ran off laughing.

Still angry, Yoon-Jae chased after him.

Sol wasn’t running fast so he quickly caught up.

The two spent the time heading to Mar-Dule’s pavilion like this; with Yoon-Jae angrily attacking Sol who dodged the attacks and continued laughing.

They weaved through the many burly disciples of the Runes and Formation Pavilion, and not long after they approached Mar-Dule’s pavilion. Being that he was the Head Disciple of the Runes and Formation Pavilion this pavilion was quite massive.

Yoon-Jae stopped attacking Sol and the two walked up to the Pavilion entrance where there were two burly disciples acting as guards.

"Thanks."

Sol suddenly said.

Yoon-Jae glanced at him before he looked away and said.

"Don’t worry about Little Zeel, Master won’t let anything happen to him."

"I know, but I can’t help but worry. Uncle Master says there is no time limit to when I need to get this Hellfire Grass, but it doesn’t mean I can just come back empty-handed. If I don’t get this Hellfire Grass... Little Zeel will die."

Abdu who was on Sol’s head looked down at him and said.

"If the Hellfire Grass is not in this Eternal Desert, then I’ll return to the Dimension and get that Jinji brat to give me a few of his leaves."

"Are you able to enter the dimension when it’s close?"

Yoon-Jae asked.

"I can enter the Lower Dimension and then travel through chaotic space to get to the Main Dimension."

Sol lifted his hand and patted Abdu’s head.

"There’s no telling what could happen to you if you did that. Plus, we don’t need to think about doing something so extreme yet. There is still Master that I can ask."

The two reached the two burly disciples, and Sol asked.

"Is Mar-Dule there?"

The two disciples smiled having recognized him. One of them nodded and responded.

"Brother Sol, Young Master is inside. But..."

The disciple turned to look at Yoon-Jae with a fearful expression before continuing.

"He said not to let Brother Yoon-Jae enter."

Seeing how scared the disciples were, Sol turned to look at Yoon-Jae.

"What did you do?"

"What? Why assume I did anything?"

"B-Brother Yoon-Jae, you almost destroyed the pavilion when the Young Master refused to speak with you. Luckily he stepped in to block your attack so only the gates were destroyed."

Sol glanced at the gates to see that they were newly installed.

Yoon-Jae snorted and said.

"And I’ll destroy them again if he still refuses to come out."

The two burly disciples took a staggered step back when they heard Yoon-Jae.

Sol hurriedly stepped in front of Yoon-Jae before saying.

"Can you tell Mar-Dule I need to speak with him?"

One of the burly disciples nodded before he turned and entered a smaller gate to the side.

After a minute or two, hurried footsteps could be heard from the other side of the gate.

"Brother Sol?"

Mar-Dule’s voice came from behind the gate.

"Brother Mar-Dule, can we speak? It’s urgent."

There was a pause before Mar-Dule said.

"Brother Sol, I apologize but I can’t speak with you."

"Bastard, are you that much of a coward?"

"Fuck, can you shut the hell up?!"

Mar-Dule was instantly triggered by Yoon-Jae’s voice.

"Not everyone can avoid their responsibilities to fool around like you! You don’t have to consider how your actions can affect your Kunlun Sect, but I do!... Look, this is a difficult decision for me, but as someone who’s going to lead the Barbarian Race in the future, I can’t just casually make an enemy of the Wudang Sect by openly supporting someone suspected of killing Geon-Soo. He might be an illegitimate child, but he’s still someone from the Wudang Sect. I hope you can understand this Brother Sol."

"Coward. Your friend is being framed and you rather sit back and do nothing. So much being a friend huh?"

Yoon-Jae said, and this seemed to stab Mar-Dule in the chest as he didn’t respond.

Sol sighed before he looked at Yoon-Jae with disapproval. He then turned to the gate and said.

"Brother Mar-Dule, you don’t have to worry about becoming an enemy of the Wudang Sect. I’ve already resolved it. I need to speak to you about the Hellfire Grass."

"Really?"

"Bastard, just open the gate already!"

"Damn it!"

Bang!

A loud explosion suddenly echoed behind the gate, and a figure was seen shooting up into the air.

Sol glanced up and saw that it was Mar-Dule. He sighed before he took a step and appeared several meters away.

Yoon-Jae looked up at Mar-Dule with a cold expression.

Mar-Dule’s ascending momentum slowly down, and he glared back at Yoon-Jae as he started falling.

Without a word, a terrifying amount of Metal Aether Energy rolled out of his plump body.

Yoon-Jae took a step back and Fire Aether Energy burst out of his body while simultaneously the cry of a Phoenix echoed in the surroundings.

Mar-Dule’s descending figure sped up, and he clenched his fist while gathering all the Metal Aether Energy around him.

"You think I’m scared of a fight?"

Yoon-Jea formed a hand seal and all his Fire Aether Energy coalesced into a fire phoenix releasing searing heat.

Mar-Dule threw out a punch with a bang, while Yoon-Jae’s fire phoenix released a cry and shot forward.

The resulting clash of the two’s attacks in mid-air caused Metal Aether Energy and Fire Aether Energy to spread out into the surroundings.

The burly disciple at the gate hurriedly retreated, but Abdu who was on Sol’s head nearby, wiggled his palm and a black barrier appeared blocking the Metal and Fire Aether Energy blast.

After everything calmed down, Mar-Dule and Yoon-Jae were seen standing in front of each other.

The earth beneath them was cracked and scorched, while the newly built gate was completely obliterated.

Other disciples in the surroundings had also stopped to look at the unexpected battle.

However, Sol took a step and appeared between Mar-Dule and Yoon-Jae.

He glanced at the two before asking.

"Have you released your frustrations? If so, hurry and hug it out."

Mar-Dule and Yoon-Jae scowled at each other but didn’t resist as Sol pulled them together.

However, Yoon-Jea and Mar-Dule’s hands stiffly remained at their sides. They merely glared at each other with their faces just inches away.

Though Sol smiled as this was enough.
