Chapter 237: Chapter 237- The Aloof Trickster Ushi

"That’s enough you brat, we’re leaving."

Sato said.

"Wait, Youngest Brother, don’t go yet. Come here."

Young-Hwa motioned for Sato to approach, perhaps to take a look at Little Zeel’s condition.

Sato glared at his disciple before dropping him to the ground and moving towards Little Zeel and Young-Hwa.

Sol thought about approaching, but Young-Hwa said.

"Sol, rather than stay here worrying, put some trust in me. As long as I can get that Hellfire Grass then your friend here will be fine. So you should focus on getting it from that other friend of yours from the Barbarian Race. My disciple is bad at relationships so his way of asking was to barge into the Runes and Formations Pavilion and demand it. But why are you so injured? Take this on your way to the Eternal Desert."

Young-Hwa threw a medicinal pill behind him toward Sol.

After catching the medicinal pill, Sol stored it before asking.

"How much time do I have to get it?"

"There’s no time limit. Just focused on getting the Hellfire Grass."

Sol glanced at Little Zeel before he cupped his fist and said.

"Thank you, Uncle Master."

He then turned to leave the Pavilion.

Even though Young-Hwa said there was no time limit, Sol’s anxiety was still at its peak.

"Brother Sol!"

Cheong-Su called out to Sol.

Sol stopped in his tracks, he almost forgot about them.

"Cheong-Su, Cheong-San, thank you for everything up until now. I know you guys want to focus on your Inheritance, so I won’t ask you to help me with this. Since Dae Han is having issues with his Innate Dharma he can stay with Little Abdu until he resolves them."

"I’m fine, you can just drop me off after you leave the Academy."

Dae Han’s voice was heard coming from Abdu on Sol’s head.

Cheong-Su and Cheong-San also nodded in understanding.

It was true that they were eager to go into seclusion so they could fully go over their Inheritance.

Sol turned and then headed for the door, Yoon-Jae following.

However, just as they left the Pavilion, the youth from the Land of Shadows ran after them.

"Ah, where are we going?"

"No."

Yoon-Jae turned around and waved his hand.

A wave of frigid Aether Energy spread out to freeze the youth’s feet, causing him to fall face-first into the grassy ground.

"You’re staying here, and hopefully when I come back you’re long gone."

It finally seemed to set in that he was being rejected as the boy wore a sad expression.

"Elder Sister Yoon-Jae, how can you be so cold when I’m so earnest in my feelings? Is it wrong that I want to marry Eldest Sister Yoon-Jae? We could even move to my mansion in the Land of Shadows. There is even a beach there that lets us see out into the Ocean. It would be the perfect place to settle down and have our children someday. I’m committed to spending this lifetime with you!"

Yoon-Jae immediately slapped his forehead when he heard that. Looking at the boy through his fingers he said.

"You’re completely delusional, aren’t you? Tell me, how will we have kids?"

The boy suddenly blushed and he twiddled his fingers before muttering.

"Well, I didn’t mean we should get married now. But in the future, we’ll get married and then have s-"

"Let me stop you right there."

Yoon-Jae said holding up his hand. Rubbing his aching head, he then said.

"If this is a joke then I give up. You win okay?"

The boy showed a confused expression when he heard that.

Yoon-Jae seeing his expression had his face change.

He was known as someone who loved to mess with people, so he initially thought this brat was trying to mess with him. But now, he was wondering if everything up to this point was real.

’This brat...’

"What’s your name?"

Yoon-Jae asked, and the boy’s face lit up.

"My family name is Miura and my given name is Ushi!"

"Miura? You’re from the Miura Clan?"

Ushi smiled when he heard the slight surprise in Yoon-Jae’s voice.

"Elder Sister Yoon-Jae, I’m not just from the Miura Clan, I’m the next heir in line to become the Clan Leader!"

Yoon-Jae’s expression changed when he heard that.

Sol who was by the side whispered.

"What’s the Muira Clan?"

"They’re the most powerful clan from the Land of Shadows. It’s said that they have ties to both the Emei Sect and the Jieun Clan in Jianghu."

Sol was also a bit surprised by that, and he turned to look at Ushi.

"Then he’s someone from a powerful background like you brother Yoon-Jae?"

Yoon-Jae shook his head.

"My Kunlun Sect is nothing compared to the Muira Clan in terms of lethality."

It took a moment for Sol to register Yoon-Jae’s words, but after he did he smiled.

Ushi who was being ignored, frowned, but the frown immediately vanished before he smiled and said.

"So, Eldest Sister Yoon-Jae is from the Kunlun Sect? I’ll pay my respects to the Sect Leader to request his permission for our marri-"

"Don’t you dare!"

Yoon-Jae glared at Ushi.

"But Eldest Sis-"

Ushi was about to say something but Yoon-Jae held up his hand once again.

He thought it was time he put an end to this.

"Wah! Eldest Sister Yoon-Jae what are you doing?!"

Ushi was shocked when he saw Yoon-Jae opening his robes and he covered his eyes.

"Bastard, look closely, do you still think I’m your Eldest Sister?"

Ushi hearing this paused, but soon he shifted his fingers to see Yoon-Jae with his hand on his hips glaring at him.

He shifted his hand a bit more, but instead of perversely glancing at his Eldest Sister’s chest, he was met with confusion.

"Huh?"

Ushi dropped his hand fully and was met face-first with a hammer that shattered his dreams.

The Mansion with a beach side view.

The laughter of their kids... preferable between ten and fifteen.

Everything seemed to be shattered into pieces if one looked at Ushi’s face.

"You-You’re..."

Ushi couldn’t even finish his words.

Yoon-Jae folded his hands with his trousers still down and huffed.

"I told you, I’m not a girl!"

Looking at Ushi’s expression, he almost felt sorry for crushing his expectations.

However, Ushi’s entire demeanor suddenly shifted. Gone was his devastated expression due to his dreams shattering.

What replaced it was... an amused smile?

"Eldest Brother Yoon-Jae, you’re a bit on the small side, aren’t you?"

"...What?"

Yoon-Jae said after a pause; taken aback by Ushi’s sudden change in demeanor.

Using his hand to prop up his chin on the ground, Ushi chuckled as he explained.

"Of course I know you weren’t my Eldest Sister, Eldest Brother Yoon-Jae. I just wanted to see you na-"

"Bastard!"

Yoon-Jae yelled before he hurriedly pulled up his pants; his face turning red from both anger and embarrassment.

"We’re leaving."

Yoon-Jae said turning around.

Sol who was silent all this while, smiled and gave Ushi a thumbs up.

"It’s my first time seeing Brother Yoon-Jae get embarrassed after doing that."

"SOL!"

Yoon-Jae was heard yelling from a distance.

Sol chuckled before he turned and apologized to Yoon-Jae who was glaring at him.

They then headed for the Runes and Formation Venue where Mar-Dule was, leaving Ushi behind.

While on the ground, Ushi fiddled with a stalk of grass before he plucked it and placed it between his lips.

He had a somewhat aloof temperament. As if nothing in this world could grab his attention.

"Ugh, now I’m bored again. Maybe I should sneak off to the Eternal Desert next."

"Brat, you’re coming with me."

Sato suddenly appeared next to Ushi and picked him up.

"Wah! No! Wa-"

Before Ushi could protest, he disappeared along with his Master.
