Chapter 235: Chapter 235- Elder Sister Yoon-Jae, Please Marry Me!
Asung-Hei snorted before he turned to leave.
"Where are you going to go?"
Gion asked.
"I don’t know. After a year of trying to get the Academy to investigate my brother’s death, my Clan was mysteriously destroyed in the middle of the night, so I have no home to go back to."
Asung-Hei glanced at Woo-Seong to show that he suspected the Wudang Sect for his Clan’s destruction after they asked one too many questions.
"But maybe I’ll join the Mercenary Association and become a mercenary."
Asung-Hei said as he went to leave, however, Woo-Seong suddenly called said.
"Wait! Tell me how you knew my brother was the one who had your brother’s Innate Dharma?"
Asung-Hei stopped and turned to explain.
"My brother and I shared the same Innate Dharma."
Asung-Hei didn’t say anymore but touched his bandaged eye. Afterward he turned and leaped over the courtyard’s wall. He would then disappear from the Academy, and Jianghu altogether.
"What does he mean by they share the same Innate Dharma? How is that possible?"
Yoon-Jae asked.
After thinking for a moment, Gion responded.
"It looks like he and his brother are twins, perhaps one that doesn’t share the same appearance."
"But Brother Asung-Hei said his brother died a few years ago when he was a fifth-year disciple. If they’re twins then Brother Asung-Hei should have looked at least eighteen not fourteen."
"I don’t know, maybe he changed his appearance somehow to sneak into the Academy."
Gion said, but Yoon-Jae asked.
"What could he have done to look fourteen despite nearly being twenty years old?"
Gion shrugged.
"A Martial Arts Technique? A rare medicinal pill? Maybe runes? Perhaps he had the fortune of finding some treasure even."
"What does him being a twin have to do with them having the same Innate Dharma?"
Woo-Seong cut in to ask, and Gion responded.
"Well, due to the nature of a twin’s birth, it’s not unheard of for the two to awaken one half of a single Innate Dharma. After all, if one doesn’t have an eventful life up until they awaken their Innate Dharmas, then it is usually determined by genetics."
After Gion’s explanation, Woo-Seong was heard sniffling before he walked over to Sol who was being held up by Yoon-Jae. He then opened his arms and hugged the two.
Yoon-Jae being in the crossfire said.
"Huh? Why am I being hugged too?"
He was wearing a perplexed expression on his face.
Yoon-Jae had just come here so he didn’t understand why the heck Woo-Seong was acting like this. He was nothing like what he had heard of him in rumors.
After hugging the two, Woo-Seong turned to leave the courtyard without saying anything.
Gion then turned to Sol and said.
"Brother Sol, it was great working with you. I’ll take my leave as well. I also wish your pet beast recovers."
Sol nodded before Gion turned and left.
With a weird expression, Yoon-Jae asked.
"Just what exactly happened in the hour that you left?"
"No way, it’s only been an hour? It felt like several days had passed."
"Well, it shouldn’t have been more than two hours exactly."
Yoon-Jae then carried Sol out of the courtyard.
On their way to the Teleportation Hall, Sol asked softly.
"How is Little Zeel?"
Yoon-Jae remained silent for a moment then said.
"Master doesn’t have the Hellfire Grass... but he said it should be in the Eternal Desert. For now, he’s using his own Fire Aether Energy and a few other fire-type medicinal plants to prevent Little Zeel’s Wood Aether Energy from running wild."
Sol nodded and said.
"Then I’ll get Mar-Dule to take me to the Eternal Desert so we can search for the herb."
"Tsk!"
Yoon-Jae suddenly clicked his tongue in disgust.
"What is it?"
Sol asked.
"It’s that bastard Mar-Dule, it’s best if you forget about him."
"What happened?"
Yoon-Jae eyes narrowed as he said.
"After you were imprisoned because of Geon-Soo’s death, that bastard left saying he can’t be involved with us anymore. And when I went over there to ask about the Hellfire Grass he ignored me."
Sol went silent for a moment then said.
"I’m sure it’s because he’s thinking about his Barbarian Race. If he won’t help me then I can only go to the Eternal Desert and search myself."
"By yourself?"
Sol nodded.
"I’ll be faster if I go alo-"
"Not happening. Who knows what kind of trouble you’ll get into, I’m obviously coming with you. If someone isn’t there to tell you to stop trying to kill yourself, then that masochist brain of yours is going to get you killed."
Sol scratched his cheek and said.
"I’m not trying to kill myself, rather this is the best method to train my body."
Yoon-Jae snorted.
"Risking your life can’t possibly be the only method to solving your problem."
Yoon-Jae had been watching Sol for nearly a year, so he came to understand his circumstances somewhat.
Sol’s physical body can’t handle his bloodline energy, so the bracelets are there to seal it. To make this power his own, Sol needed to strengthen his body, and he did that by repeatedly pushing his body to its limit until it broke.
This was how Sol had always trained so his body could handle the power of his bloodline energy, and it had gotten him here, to the point where he was just as strong as when he removed one of his bracelets without actually removing it.
You could say each bracelet held a seal portion of his bloodline energy, and after his battle with Elder Hyun-Joo, he had fully absorbed the first portion leaving three remaining.
After increasing his fleshly body and absorbing all four, then... well, Sol didn’t know what would happen to him then.
He would get stronger no doubt, but something told him there was more to it.
’But Brother Yoon-Jae is right. Surely hurting myself isn’t the only way to strengthen my physique so I can control my bloodline power.’
Sol thought for a moment as he looked down at his hand.
"What if... What if I could refine my body a second time?"
"Huh? Is that even possible?"
Yoon-Jae looked at Sol with a skeptical expression.
"I don’t know, I haven’t tried it yet."
After walking for a bit with Yoon-Jae carrying Sol, the two were now approaching the Teleportation Hall.
"Well, it’s better to try that than to-"
"Eldest Sister Yoon-Jae, please marry me!"
Bang!
A girl suddenly came out of nowhere and leaped towards Yoon-Jae. But with a wave of his hand, Yoon-Jae sent his Ice Aether Energy rolling out.
It immediately froze the girl in a thick ice block, which shocked Sol.
"...continue hurting yourself like a masochist."
Yoon-Jae finished his sentence and didn’t so much as stop to look back at the girl.
