The Growth of a Titan
Chapter 107- Spill Everything

Chapter 107: Chapter 107- Spill Everything

An old man with a goatee who had several strands of gray hair on his head shot over to where Sol and the alchemy disciples were.

"Who was it?! Who dare attack the barrier, are you trying to send everyone flying off the ship?!"

The old man immediately yelled as he came flying over, and he caught sight of Sol who was still holding his massive bow in hand.

"You! It was you wasn’t it?!"

The old man pointed at Sol as if he had caught him red-handed.

"Ah, Elder, I sincerely apologize for my actions. I wasn’t attacking the barrier, I was just shooting an arrow at a Spirit Beast I saw outside of the ship."

Sol cupped his fist and apologized, before pointing outside of the ship.

The old man followed where he was pointing and saw a Spirit Beast that was almost a spec on the horizon.

He snorted and said.

"You missed!"

The old man was furious that Sol would think to do something like this when they were on the ship. What would have happened if the barrier was destroyed?

From how fast the ship was going the Elders would have to scramble to catch raining disciples before they plunge to their deaths after falling off the ship.

And what was worse was that Sol had jeopardized the safety of everyone on the ship to shoot at a bird that he completely missed!

This enraged the Elder even more.

However, Sol suddenly patted his chest and said confidently.

"Elder you’re wrong, I never miss!"

Yoon-Jae’s eyes twitched from behind Sol when he heard him.

Meanwhile, the Elder had his eyes bulge out of his head and seemed as if he was about to fly off the handle.

However, Yoon-Jae suddenly wore his Head Disciple cap and step forward; shoving Sol out of the way as he did.

"Elder, what my friend means is that he’s sorry and it won’t happen again."

The Elder looked at Yoon-Jae and his anger calmed down a bit.

After snorting, he narrowed his eyes at Sol and said.

"You best not let this happen again or cause any more problems on this ship. If you do then I’ll revoke the Alchemy Pavilion’s rights to enter the Hundred Plants and Herbs Dimension."

When the alchemy disciples heard that their faces became ugly.

Sol’s expression fell and slight anger appeared in his heart, but he didn’t show it.

After the Elder left while huffing and snorting up a storm, Sol turned to the alchemy disciples in the surroundings and bowed deeply.

"I’m sorry for causing trouble to you all, it won’t happen again."

Yoon-Jae who was next to him placed his hand on his shoulder and shook his head.

Sol saw this and was first confused, but an alchemy disciple suddenly said.

"Brother Sol, why are you apologizing to us? We aren’t mad at you."

"That’s right Brother Sol, wasn’t it obvious that bastard was targeting you?"

The alchemy disciples weren’t angry at Sol but at the Elder.

Of course, what Sol did was dumb, but the Elder was overstepping his bounds by threatening to revoke their rights to enter the Hundred Plants and Herbs Dimension.

It was complete overkill. If Sol was able to destroy the barrier then it was their fault for making it so weak.

Sol was taken aback by the reaction of the alchemy disciples.

He was angry because he knew what the Elder was trying to do, he was trying to turn the alchemy disciples against him by making that threat. That’s why he immediately went to apologize, but he got this reaction in return.

"They aren’t from any of the Six Holy Sects or the Five Great Clans. Master only accepts disciples from ordinary backgrounds. That’s why the other Pavilion Headmasters hate him. He’s not allowing them to take advantage of the Alchemy Pavilion where most of the resources entering the Academy flow to."

With that Sol finally understood their reaction.

And now that he thought about it, he realized these disciples were closer to each other than the disciples of the other Pavilions. After all, the other Pavilions consisted of disciples from more than one of the Six Holy Sects.

"Hey, what I want to know is why that old fart was targeting Brother Sol."

Sol sat down with a few of these disciples as they chatted with each other; his large bow sat across a few of their laps.

Little Zeel took this opportunity to lie down in Sol’s lap. The disciples next to Sol curiously went to pet him.

His cuteness was too eye-catching for them not to notice him.

One disciple pipped up and responded to the question that had just been asked.

"That Elder, wasn’t he Elder Gu?"

"Huh? Elder Gu? Who’s that?"

"Oh, now that makes sense."

"Hey, Hey, explain what you mean. Who is this Elder Gu?"

Everyone including Sol turned to the disciple who first identified the old man as Elder Gu.

He was around Sol’s age maybe one or two years older.

He had an ordinary appearance, that didn’t draw attention. A yellow headband was tied around his forehead, while a sword lay across his lap.

Not many alchemy disciples used weapons, so he sort of stood out from the other disciples because of that.

As everyone turned to look at him, this disciple turned to Sol specifically and explained.

"Brother Sol, that Elder Gu is someone from the Wudang Sect."

Immediately, all the disciples in the surroundings had a mouth in the shape of O’s.

No wonder he was targeting Sol.

"Brother Sol, you should really be careful in the Academy, not just of the disciples but also of Elders that might be secretly from the Wudang Sect."

This youth was warning Sol in a really earnest manner.

It was most of the disciples here sentiments, but Sol felt his warning was somewhat different... more personal.

Sol didn’t get time to think about it deeply as another disciple suddenly asked.

"Brother Sol, how did you get this bow? It’s a high-grade Spirit Treasure that costs an arm and a leg!"

It seems most of the disciples were wondering the same thing and they urge Sol to tell them.

"I got it from Brother Dae-Hyun as a gift."

The disciples in the surroundings all paused and stared at Sol in shock.

"Brother Sol, by Dae-Hyun, you’re not talking about Dae-Hyun who’s one of the Rising Stars in the Heaven Arena right?"

"Yeah, I’m talking about him."

Sol said with a nod, and this caused the disciples to be in more shock.

"Brother Sol, are you friends with Dae-Hyun? What’s he like?"

"Yeah, tell us, when did you two become friends?"

Even though these disciples were from ordinary backgrounds and were slightly jealous of people like Dae-Hyun who had everything, they couldn’t deny the fact that they were curious about people like him.

As geniuses what were they like? What were their hobbies? Their daily routine?

Did they hold their chopsticks like them, or did they hold them differently?

Like obsessed fans of a high-class celebrities, these disciples wanted to know everything about Dae-Hyun.

However, Yoon-Jae suddenly interrupted them and said.

"I want to know how you two became friends too. Come here."

Yoon-Jae dragged Sol from the group of disciples and off to the side.

The disciples were upset with Yoon-Jae’s actions, but soon they turned their focus to the cute Little Zeel and the impressive large bow Sol left behind.

"Spill everything now. Why would Dae-Hyun give you a bow like this for free?"
