Chapter 285: 5.04.4 What game is this?

A monster appeared in her mind, vast like an ocean and giant like a mountain. It appeared as if a whole world was speaking to her, sometimes it sounded effeminate, sometimes old, and sometimes, it sounded almost animalistic. Even the words spoken were not something Remira seemed to have heard before.

Alien, that was the word that came to her head, nothing about this voice made sense, but she was able to understand it or what it meant.

"I had wanted to meet you, and you left so early, come to me, let me see the face of the one that tried to prevent my rebirth." The voice gave her a slight push while whispering. "If you were to leave without meeting me, I would have to take out my anger on your companions." Letting Remira understand what she has to do.

So giving one last look toward her companions, she ordered them to leave, before turning toward the city.

"Your Excellency, I wonder what you are looking at?" Kaarath wondered, looking toward the window where the woman was looking out of. "Just something lovely." In a kind voice, she left the window and came to sit alongside Kaarath, the old professor before continuing. "There are too many things happening in your city tonight."

Words that were confusing to most, but Kaarath seemed to have understood what the woman meant. "Yes, I did get an update on what was going to happen at night, but never did I consider that there would be this many slugs hiding in the dark. Guess, no place is ever truly peaceful."

"There are always undercurrents bubbling, waiting for the time to explode and bring the peace to a ruin." Kaarath seemed melancholic at this moment, his eyes gave a sad look toward the woman, which was enough to convey what he was thinking.

"Don’t worry, as long as your master can provide me with a proper response, I won’t be doing anything that would harm the innocent people of this lovely city."

"Thank you, your excellency." With those words, the eyes of Kaarath turned toward the bodyguard that always stuck behind the woman, almost wishing to say something, but he held his thoughts in.

He knows he had to keep this woman in control and entertained, otherwise, something bad might just happen.

And as if to prove his words, a small paper bird flew from the windows and then fell directly on the table.

"Two of your students might visit you at this hour." The information was insignificant if it happened some other time. But today was different, there was a curfew going on and a fight not too far from the college grounds.

Not to mention, the woman that came for a visit.

’Who is so foolish enough to come here?’ Of course they were not foolish, Kaarath knew full well that whoever it was that chose to come at such an inopportune hour during a curfew, they probably are not normal people, or students in this case.

If they were in his class, then that would probably make them spies in general sense, or just people that were hiding their identity for some other reason.

As for the reason?

Wasn’t it the woman that sat before him enough already?

’But who is it? I was unaware of her visit.’ No matter how much I think, this didn’t make sense in the slightest.

"Was it among the boys that were watching me around evening?" As the woman spoke, the eyes of Kaarath turned weird while looking at her. "Were there kids doing something like this earlier?"

"Of course there were. But Professor, don’t you teach them manners on how to conduct themselves in public? It’s wrong to eye a woman my age in public, it’s not safe."

"I apologize on their behalf." There was no need to hold on to his ego. Considering his current state, this was news to him. And he knows how eccentric people with power can be. So he apologized and prayed for the children. This was all he could do in his position.

But the woman just smiled. "Don’t worry, no harm will come to them, it’s partially my fault for lowering my veil a bit, letting them look at me."

"Huh?"

"Don’t look at me like that Professor, I just found some special ones among the children, so I just gave them a sneak peak."

"And considering how special they were in my eyes, it’s probably among those three that our two coming visitors belong to."

"This leg injury... that bastard can really aim." Going home would be a sensible choice. But I was not a sensible person to begin with.

The pain of the count shot was still fresh in my head, and each time I took a step that pain, my knees will shake as the newly grown muscles were still too soft and fresh, unable to handle the load of my weight and movements.

I needed time, lots of time if I hoped to take part in this awesome game show.

But time was what I lacked.

"A morph should help?" Ignoring the woman that had gone back in hiding, I focused my mind and activated the warm energy that flowed in my body all the time. The bull, strong as powerful, was able to carry the load of its heavy body on his legs.

It should work.

Recalling the prior experiences, I dropped my all fours and then activated the transformation, slowly turning my legs to that of a bull, and when the transformation was partially done, I stopped the transformation.

A pseudo transformation that carried hints of what my legs used to be. Not to mention, as its was not fully transformed, it was still possible for me to stand on my two legs and move without any struggle.

’I feel taller as well.’

Partial transformation, or pseudo transformation. It was one of the most useful technique that master taught me, and in his eyes, it’s much more useful that a complete transformation and it can be seen how it completely canceled and suppressed my weakened knees in an instant.

"Move." I thought and rushed from the scene after getting used to my new feet. Its not like this was the first time I did this, but it was definitely the first time I was going to use them for running for so long.

’I need to catch up.’ They should have already found the house... no, they must be at the house, I am sure of it.

’I can’t miss it.’

And I definitely didn’t miss it, as I saw the two fighting someone instead of going toward the professor’s house.

Clad in black and holding an iron rod, it was easy to see from his dress that this woman was one of Boss’s people. She was here to stop these two from getting close.

"This cunt." At such a travesty over my entertainment, I rushed toward the two as two small horns grew out of my head.

"Stay away from my friends." With a cringe shout, I entered the fray and gave the woman a firight who, hearing my announcement, backed off before I could hit her with my horns. "Another runt entered the game?" She spoke in a condescending tone, before the end of her stick hit my head, throwing me to the side.

"Crow?" Henry was surprised, but the one more surprised was Rashid, who looked at me as if seeing a ghost. Before his eyes obviously went toward my cow like feet as well as head. "Bloodline ability?"

It was easy to see that I was still an apprentice, but considering that being an apprentice I was able to display supernatural powers, his eyes turned even weirder. It was unbelievable in his eyes for someone with such a high level bloodline to study in the school alongside them.

Not to mention, this someone that suddenly got involved in their matter.

Something was weird here and I probably appeared more suspicious in his eyes. Or so he might think

But considering the situation, he had no time to deal with me, as the woman was much stronger than the three of us combined.

"Crow, are you alright?" Henry rushed and helped me get up, not even asking why I looked so weird. "Why did you come here? You should have gone home."

"I... I want to help." Looking at Rashid holding the woman back on his own, I said. "Let’s talk later, let’s first help him..."

Henry, knowing the situation was dire, nodded his head reluctantly.

The more the merrier in the current situation.

Which was just what I wanted.

’Finally, true fight.’

"Henry, hold her... I need time to transform." I asked Henry, who entered the fray himself with the sword he borrowed from Rashid.

His bloodline of Wandering lamb gave him an inhuman level of agility, which made it possible for him to keep up with the speed of an adept level Knight that he was facing.

As for Rashid and his electric attacks? It would seem like me, he too was a complete noob, he probably overpowered the people in his age group with his higher realm of strength, hence making it impossible for him to gain any true experience.

A perfect tool. But even a tool is more useful than his coin bullets that he fired from his hand, which were all deflected by the woman or parried.

"Pick a sword you fool." I wish to give such a suggestion, but even i was a fool when it came to battle and it showed after my partial transformation of the whole body was complete, turning me into the legendary minotaur from the eastern continent.

It was time to see how good the Master’s bloodline truly is.
